Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I turned her face to me and kissed her, showing how much I cared and feared for her to be gone away from me.

I kissed him back with all the same emotions. I understood how he felt, and I was afraid too.

I deepened the kiss a bit not wanting to let her go.

I slid my hands into his hair slowly.

I slid an arm around her waist and lifted her so she was now straddling my lap, without breaking the kiss.

As we kissed I thought back on our previous ones. Not even before we broke up did we ever experience this kind. But to me it would make sense because back then he only knew the shy, timid, skinwalker girl. This time he knew everything and with all the worry that comes with it of course we would feel more heat.

As we kissed I couldn't help but feel the difference between then and now. Before I thought I had felt something within the kiss, when we used to date, but now that things have changed, and I found myself actually loving her, I could tell that none of them compared to this one. It made em feel alive somehow, and I liked it. If I could kiss her all day I would, but I knew we needed to come up for air eventually. With that final thought I pulled away reluctantly. I placed a soft kiss on her nose as my forehead rested on hers. "I love you." I said no longer wanting to hold back.

"I love you too," I replied. Those three words felt like a binding spell to me, now that he was willing to say them out loud and feel that way, I felt like we could really belong to each other.

I hugged her close to my body as I hurried my face in her neck, inhaling her scent.

We staid that way for a while until we were both content. "come on let's get cleaned up before it's time to meet Jack." I told her finally pulling away.

"Yeah, he probably wouldn't be too happy if he walked in on us hugging or kissing. Even if it's a mutual break up, he wouldn't like seeing how forgiven you are," I said as we got up.

I gave her a quick kiss on her cheek before starting to clean the room. Although it was the housekeepers job, I figured i might make their job a bit easier. "is he coming up here or are we going to his room?" I asked.

"He's coming here, which is why we should be careful," I said.

"I'll be sure to watch my actions." I told her.

I nodded and helped to clean up. When we finished Jack had made his way up and I let him in.

"hey Jack." I said as I made my way to the livingroom.

J: "Hey, Nick," I replied.

R: I follow behind him.

"so what shall we discuss today?" I questioned as I took a seat.

J: "Well, we need locations. What direction are we going in?" I asked.

R: "Well, we could head south, further than usual. Towards south America, and go abroad."

"do you think they have different groups set in certain states looking for us here in the U.S?" I asked curiously thinking of a plan as well.

J: "Possibly, but we have to take that risk."

"right. I still say we hold off going abroad for awhile. There's a chance they've thought about that plan as well." I said.

J: "Yeah, we've been considering that for awhile. Though we haven't fully entertained the idea yet." I said.

R: "It's always been a thought but, you know."

"okay, so how long do we stay here before we're on the move again?" I asked.
