Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

Okay, cuz right now they're together, but later they won't be okay I'll start and he can be there and bump into her, it doesn't matter)
R: I sighed as I went walking down memorial street. Going no where in particular.

I decided I'd go outside for a walk, just to get some fresh air to clear my mind. These last few weeks have been hell. I left the house and headed down memorial street with no destination in mind.

I stopped and leaned against the wall, looking like the other junkies on this road. Memorial wasn't known for them, but it wasn't exactly like Madison. At least it was daylight, I was safe until dark. Then you didn't want to be caught walking alone on any street.

I sighed as I got the urge again and pulled out a cigarette. I had been on these for years and just couldn't shake them. I leaned against the wall, definitely looking like a junkie.

I continued walking as my thoughts wondered to Rayla and how I missed her. It's been a while since I've seen her. Maybe I should go visit her and see if we could have dinner one night. -Nick

I stepped out onto the side walk observing my surroundings before I began walking down the street in a fast pace already late for m work outs. I pulled my hair into a sloppy ponytail trying to get it out of my face. -Raven

R: I looked at my phone as I received a text. He wanted to know if I wanted to go out tonight. Already out but didn't want to see him tonight. I said busy.

J: I sighed texted alright as I went to the gym.

I turned off of the street and decided to head for our favorite park, just to see if she was there. But a big part of me was telling me she wasn't. I just pressed my luck anyway. -Nick

I received a text from my best friend asking where was I. I sent a quick reply telling her I was around the corner and that I'd be there soon. I shoved my phone deep in my bag and picked up my pace trying my best to avoid hitting people on the way. -Raven

R: I began walking towards my park. So I can't say Nick hasn't been on my mind, but I have to say I don't exactly want to be with him again. He treated me like I was nothing, the ground under his feet basically. Sure it wasn't always that way, but whatever. I was so preoccupied as I arrived at the park I didn't even notice his car. I flicked ash onto the cement as I continued walking until I got to one of the benches and sat.

J: I started on the treadmill.

R: I finally made it to the gym almost out of breath. I went to the locker room and placed my bag in my locker since I was already in my work out clothes. I grabbed my water bottle and headed for the floor. I met my friend in our usual spot as we started with stretches.

N: I walked aimlessly around the park watching the little kids play on the swings and the jungle gym, enjoying the wonders of their imagination. It was then I spotted Rayla sitting on a bench. I took this as my opportunity to speak with her. So I made my way over.

R: I didn't even notice him coming. I sat with my eyes half lidded looking at the kids. The break up had changed me as well. I was harder to get to now. I hid my heart more and kept it in a cage. I'd rather not be broken again. I heard footsteps and looked up. I saw Nick but didn't make an expression. I couldn't because I felt mixed emotions about seeing him.

J: I noticed some girls stretching but didn't stare too long.

When I saw her I wasn't sure how to feel, angry, hurt, sad? I just shook it off and gave her small wave. "I see you're still smoking." I said as she just put out the rest of her cigaret.

When we finished our stretches we did our warm up on the treadmill. But some guy had taken the one in the middle which forced us to us the ones on each side of him. I took a quick glance and could tell he worked out often. I stepped onto my treadmill and placed my music in my ears before starting it up.

R: I gave a soft smile. "Well, it's a habit I can't kick. Sit?" I offered nicely.

J: I felt weird with them on either side, and a little bad. I didn't like separating friends. I got off a few minutes later to go and lift some weights.

"thanks." I said as I sat next to her. "how have you been?" I asked.

We staid on until our ten minutes was up, then we moved on to our work out. Today we were going to start with the arm curls using the weights. Joyce always came up with how many we do. So I just follow her lead.

R: "I began the transition. You know, my cougar showed her claws shortly after we broke up. So I had a few issues with that, since my emotion state wasn't it's best." I said.

J: I sat and took a break.

"sorry I treated you the way I did." I said. "I know it doesn't mean much to you now but I just wanted you to know that I really did love you. I was just too stupid to really acknowledge it." I confessed.

After we finished with the arm curls we worked on our legs.

R: "It's a little late to be telling me now. I mean if you're expecting to be something now you obstacles in your way," I said. I'm pretty sure he had a girl now.

J: I got up to finish my work out.

N: "Yeah I k ow, but I just wanted to let you know. I had a girlfriend but she broke it off saying she wasn't happy, when the truth was she was cheating on me the entire time. So I'm pretty much single right now." I said with a shrug of my shoulders.

R: we continued our work out only stopping for a short break of water. Then back to they hard work we go. The whole time I found myself glancing over at the guy from the treadmill. I wasn't sure why but I was. He was very attractive

R: I nodded. "Well, Jack wouldn't do that to me. He can't keep a secret to save his life, and he loves wholeheartedly and doesn't hold back," I said. But now I was basically like Nick, before he became a jerk. I held back because I was afraid to lose what my heart wanted.

J: I sighed and went to the locker rooms to get dressed.

N: Some how it hurt a little to hear her talking about someone else. "So this Jack guy, he treats you better than I did? Before you know the whole change?" I asked curiously.

R: After our workouts we went to change into our regular clothes. On our way out I bumped into that guy. "Oh I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." I said nervously as I fixed my clothes.

R: "You held back from me, and I don't know if it's because someone had hurt you before me, but now I hold back. I showed you all of my heart and it didn't make you seem to warm up. Actually I tried showing more of it and you started getting abusive." I said. Yet I still wanted him then. I think I did now too but I held back my feelings.

J: I smiled. "Don't worry about it, it happens," I said.

N: she was right I did hold back only because that's all I knew. I wanted to love her but didn't know how. I grew up seeing what love did to people, and it wasn't pretty. "you should let what I did keep you from loving again. It was just what I knew my whole life. I'm just glad it ended before things got too out of hand." I said looking around the park.

R: "oh, okay." I smiled and gave him a nervous smile before walking away. He looked even better up close than before.

R: I looked at him sadly. "Yeah, I could tell you didn't want to love someone deeply. Maybe we just aren't supposed to be together like that. We both have different ideas of love, and yours makes you afraid of feeling it," I said and sighed. I was slightly afraid but I was getting better. I opened up a little to Jack but I had moments where I wished he'd leave me alone.

J: I watched her go and shook my head. I'm with Rayla, and I love her. Maybe if I wasn't with her but I couldn't do that to her, especially when she was still heartbroken.
