Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

Our woods, where we use to hang out when we met, before we started going out. We both use to run in the woods before we met. Then we ran into each other, well I had tripped and sprained my ankle, turned out to be a crack actually. He offered his assistance in it and stayed with me until someone picked me up at the hospital. I sighed at the memory as I got up and put on a jacket as my protection from the chill. I went out and began walking. I'll be in the cave, if I'm not out then wait for me at the entrance.

I smiled as I remembered how we first met, it was a bit different. I had felt this protectiveness over her when I seen she was hurt. Alright I'm on the way. I got up and grabbed my jacket and made my way towards the woods. I decided to take my short cut.

I made it there before him. I ran into the cave as the change began. I got my clothes off before I passed out. I woke up five minutes later. I sniffed the air and his scent filled the area around me. I walked towards the entrance and waited.

When I got deep I to the woods I began stripping my clothes preparing for the change. When I was fully changed i made my way to the cave and seen her at the entrance.

I saw him and at first I was scared but only my instincts. I went towards him unsure if we could really communicate or not.

I moved closer wondering how this could work. I looked into her eyes and tried to see if the mind link would work. So what did you want to do? I thought.

I don't quite know, I just needed a stretch. Thought you might provide a reason. I stretched as I said it all cat like. I started walking and he followed.

I do. I said and with that we both raced. I let him get ahead then when we got close enough I went full speed. I ended up winning by a few kilometers, like 5.

When we came to a complete stop I turned to her and bowed my head. nice race, I think we should do this more often. I could use the challenge.

Jack, and he's my boyfriend, but I don't think we're going to stay together. I don't know why we're together. I said and chuffed.

Jack right. So is he a shifter as well? I couldn't think of anything else to talk about.

No, he's a benandanti. He looked at me, clearly confused. He hunts demons. It gives him something to do when I'm refusing to be home, or go out. Unless he's working out.
