Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

N: I worked my body to fit hers giving the illusion that I wad enjoying this. Once she reached her climax I pushed until I was ready to release and pulled out. I felt mentally drained. I grabbed my clothes and took a quick shower making sure to lock the door behind me. I ran the water as hot as I could stand it and scrubbed every inch of my body raw. I'll be glad when we can be free of all of this.

R: I lay there feeling free. Normally having sex with Nick was an adventure but today it felt different. I couldn't put my finger on it but I liked it.

R: She ran and I felt this excitement and glee coming from her of being free. I knew I needed to get her out more, but usually I was afraid to. I tuned out the world for awhile when I felt my body jerk and her happiness stopped. She looked around, ears flicking. Suddenly a gun shot sounded and she took off back to the cave. I heard the shouts of male hunters, humans, who were excited about a rare hunt. She ran faster and in a zigzag. Soon we transformed and I ran to the cave. I dressed and ran out. I made it back to my room without so much as a wince. Jack looked at me with a questioning look. I took one step inside the room and cried out in pain and fell to the floor. I realized that I had been shot in the leg near my ankle.

J: I looked at her and jumped when she began to fall and I caught her. I got her to the bed and then got out our medical bag. I was able to stop the bleeding and remove the bullet, with her being gagged for the moment. Then I wrapped it and sighed. I didn't ask, because I didn't need to.

After a while I finally got out and dried off pulling my clothes on. I needed to talk to Rayla so I went to the door that connected our rooms and knocked

J: I got up and went to the door. I opened it and let him in.

R: I looked at Nick and tried to hide my foot by covering it with a blanket. I think I succeeded because he didn't look up me until I had it flipping over my legs. Jack switched with Nick just to give us privacy.

N: I gave jake a slight nod as he left the room. "How are you?" I asked trying to make conversation. I wasnt sure what i wanted to talk to her about. I just knew i needed to talk to her.

R: i cleaned the room up and threw the dirty clothes in a pile in the corner to get washed soon. I sat trying to figure out why he was being so distant from me. Although we just had sex i could tell he was holding back. And the fact he just left me there without saying anything made me feel used. Yeah i know i was supposed to be spying on them to turn them in later, i just vouldnt help the feelings. Once he got out of the shower i grabbed a towel and got right in. I heard the door close so i figured he left the room for a while.

R: "I'm alright, I took a run in the woods and she took over for awhile. Then we came back. How about you?" I asked.

J: I stood staring out the window in their room, my back to the bathroom.

N: i simply shrugged my shoulders. I really wasnt sure how i felt right now. "I guess im okay. Just a lot on my mind. Wanted to come check on you." I started.

R: after my shower i wrapped my towel around my body and went to the room. I hadnt noticed anyone else in the room as i got dressed.

J: I heard her come in but didn't look because I had a feeling I didn't want to. "Sorry to intrude, but our companions wanted to talk," I said with my back to her.

R: I smiled at him. "That's good," I said. I got thirsty and thought oh no. I got up and quickly had my foot hidden. I put no weight on it. As I moved I tripped and fell on that foot I didn't want him to see. I cried out at the pain.

R: i quickly grabbed my clothes and threw them on. "Oh its fine i guess." Once i was dressed i sat on my bed. "So whats the story behind you and the gir?" I asked. "Sorry trying to remember names hete." I appologized.

N: when she got up i noticed she was limping slightly and before i could ask what was wrong she fell. I quickly rushed over to her to help her up but saw her foot. "What happened to you?" I asked duddenly worried.

J: "It's alright. Her name is Rayla. We were friends, and after Nick broke her heart I was the shoulder to cry on. We dated but it wasn't really fun, and I wasn't surprised when she broke it off." I said.

R: "I got shot," I said.

R: "did you love her?" I asked curiously. I folded my legs under me and motioned for him to sit with me.

N: i frowned as i helped her up. I sat her on the bed to take a better look at her foot. "How far did you go?" I asked.

R: I shook my head. "I don't know, I got to the forest, changed then let her run. Next thing I know my foot is bleeding and I'm running away. I heard the hunters saying that I would be a rare find if they could kill me," I said. Of course I didn't like it.

J: I sat next to her. "Not like I thought. She's a good friend, and very sweet, but we just weren't supposed to be," I looked at her.

N: i shook my head as i felt myself getting angry. More at the thought of them wanting to kill her than her being out on her own. I took another look at her foot before standing. I went around yhe room looking for the first aid kit. When i found it i took it into the bathroom before going back and picking rayla up. I carried into the bathroom ad well and sat her on the counter before i began cleanig her up.

R: "well that sucks, but im sure you'll find that special someoneoe day." I said as i smiled at him. "So what are you? You dont seem like the animal type.?" I asked curiously.

J: I shook my head. "Bendanti usually hate them but I grew up with her. I am just a demon hunter," I said.

R: I watched him quietly.

N: i busied myself with hetting her foot cleaned up. Once i was done i wrapped a bandage around it. "Next time can you please have someone go with you?" I asked looking into her eyes.

R: "so how do you feel about nick?"

J: "I don't particularly like him, but what do you expect when you pick up the pieces someone left?" I shrugged.

R: I just nodded but didn't plan on it.
