Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I looked out the window to wear she was pointing to and nearly choked on my drink. What was she doing here. "Raven?" I said in a whisper.

J: My head turned sharply at him and I gave him an intense look. "You know her?" I remembered running into her at the gym once, never got her name though.

R: I stared at Jack as I heard the hint of remembrance in his voice. "You knew her?" I turned on him and he looked at me with a shocked expression.

I turned to them both and looked a bit shocked. "Yeah I know her. She was my neighbor. She was sitting outside my house the night we left." I explained. "I thought it was a little strange because she's never done that." I added looking back out the window.

J: "I ran into her at the gym once, I was at the treadmill and she got one next to me. We didn't talk much so I can't say I know her at all really," I said softly.

R: I sighed. "I guess she's here for something," I said as I watched her walk in.

R: they sent me out to follow him in hopes to trap them all. I felt bad for doing so but I had no choice. I just hope they hadn't noticed yet. I found their cars at a gas station butvthry weren't inside. I saw a restaurant close by and figured they were there. I walked in and scanned the area pretending I was looking for an empty seat. I saw them at a booth by the window so I chose a seat in the far corner. Far from them yet close enough I could still watch them.

N: I tried not to stare at her so much but I couldn't help but feel this was a setup. Something had to be up. I pulled out my phone and called her. "Hey Raven how are you?" I asked once she answered.

R: As I sat there I felt my phone vibrate. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey Nick, I'm doing fine. I tried calling you last night to see if you wanted to join me on a road trip to the mountains, but you never answered." I said to him.

N: "sorry about that, I was out handling business." I informed. I knew she was lying because we were far from the mountains and they were in the other direction. "I would have loved to join you. Maybe next time." I saw the waiter coming with our food. "But I gotta go, just returning your call." I said getting her off the phone. We said put good byes and hung up. I turned my phone off just as the waiter sat our food down. "I think she's following us." I said

R: "Good, you reached our conclusion," I said softly as the waitor left. "Now how are we to fix it? We can be direct, we can lose her," I said as I picked at my food. "Or we can play with them."

"How so?" I asked her. "We can't risk getting caught."

J: "We can make her think we're willing to trust her, let her in. Then someone can destroy every little device, while someone who knows how to get close to her can destroy the rest of them," I said with a look at Nick.

R: I glanced in her direction but made it seem like I wasn't looking at her.

R: I sat there and ordered something from the menu as I gave their location to my leader. It still looked as if they were on the move so I told them to hold off a bit longer.

N: "I'm guessing that someone is me." I stated taking the hint. "Now how are we will me, to getclose without letting on that we know something is up." I asked.

R: "Well, you can show that you knew she was lying about whatever she said, go over and talk like you just wanted to talk. Then you can act concerned about her, and warn her about those people, then beg her to come with us," I said.

J: "Maybe even act like you're having trouble with Rayla, the friendship. I know it works, even though I've never done it myself," I added and Rayla had an expression but she hid it.

N: "right. It's worth a try." I said taking in their suggestions. I took a drink of my soda before getting up and going over to her table. "Enjoying the mountains?" I asked as I sat down across from her.

R: I was a bit startled by his sudden approach. "Nick you scared me. What are you doing here?" I asked with a friendly smile.

N:"I'm with some friends." I said pointing to our table. "We decided to take a little road trip. Though I think it's a bit awkward if you ask me." I added.

R: "how so?"

N:"well the girl her name is Raven and that's her now ex boyfriend James. They broke up on mutual grounds but I still think it's a little uncomfortable for him to see her hanging with me a lot. She doesn't want to tell him we're sorta dating. So mind joining us to even out the numbers?" I asked.

R:"I don't know." I said sounding a little skeptical. "What if they don't want me to join." I countered. "But if it's okay with them I guess I can tag along. As you can see I'm not in the mountains. When you never called back I thought I'd visit a friend up here. I was on my way back just stopped to get something to eat." I said just as my food arrived.

N:"come on. Grab your plate and come over and sit with us." I said standing. She gathered her things and I helped her. I just hope this plan works. "Hey guys, this is my friend Raven. Raven this is Rayla and James. I hope you dont mind but I invited her to join our miniature road trip." I said with a smile.

R: I smiled at her. "Nice to see you again. I think I could use one more girl, these two are such idiots sometimes. I can't get them to stop fighting," I said with a glare at them both but it was clearly playful.

J: I just smiled at the comment. "It's nice to see you again. My name is Jack," I said.

R: I smiled and waved at them. "Nice to see you again. I could use a good vacation." I said sliding into the seat next to Nick.

N: I smiled at them and sat down.

R:"so where are you guys headed?" I asked curiously as I began to eat.

N:"Canada." I said jokingly.

R: "We're just running around, I'd rather not go back," I said. I was unable to take that as a joke, Canada was not a joke for me.

J: I pat her shoulder softly.

N: I gave her a questioning look but said nothing.

R:"oh, well sounds fun. This could help clear my head." I said with a smile.

R: "We'll talk about it later Nick," I said but smiled at Raven's comment. "Well, Jack and I lived on the road for awhile. It was always really interesting. Especially when we had Angela and Adam. Those two always brought a laugh, or started a fight-"

J: "Rayla don't get yourself worked up," I warned.

R: I nodded. "Sorry, they're both dead," I said softly.

R:"oh my. I'm sorry to hear that." I said a bit concerned. Those names founded familiar though I wasn't sure why. "Well being on the road altogether sounds fun. I'm sure we'll make great memories." I added.

N:I sat and listened while they talked. Trying to come up with ways to get rid of her.

R: "I'm sure we will," I smiled at her.

N: we all sat there finishing our food once again lost in thought.

R: I finished and looked out the window quietly.

R:"so where are y'all headed at the moment?" I asked so I couldt try and get an idea of where they will end up.

R: I gave an airheaded smile. "Not a clue!"

R:" well then all the more fun." I smiled

R: "Yep! Now, are you driving your own vehicle, or did you want to ride with Jack?" I asked.

R: I looked over at Jack debating on what to do. "Riding with Jack sounds fun, but I'll take my own car. I wouldn't know where to leave it anyway." I answered.
