Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I followed him out and we went to the car.

After piling everything in the trunk, I saw Jack pull out. We climbed in and followed behind him.

I sat quietly feeling really tired.

I reached over and took her hand in mine, shooting her a quick smile.

We drove through the highways and streets following behind Jason, while the radio played through the quiet car.

I looked out the window quietly.

We drove for hours until we had to stop for gas and food. "want something to eat?" I asked as we pulled into the gas station. There was a restaurant next door that we could go to.

"Yeah," I said.

"we can go next door and grab something after I fill up the tank." I said before getting out of the car. "there's a place next door we could eat at. Rayla's hungry." I told Jason as we went into the store to pay for our gas.

I got out while they talked and went into the restaurant.

After we paid for the gas we went back to the cars to pump. We both watched her carefully as she went to the restaurant. "I think one of us should be with her." I said after she was inside. "I'll take care of this, you can go in." I offered.

Jack: "Alright," I said and I followed her in. I didn't go behind her though. I knew she would want me to watch him. So I stood close to a window where I could see her and him.

I stood by the cars and waited until they were both full. I secured the caps on both cars and took the keys from my car. I climbed I to his and pulled into a parking space then went back and did the same with mine. Afterwards I walked into the restaurant and spotted them both.

We now stood together quietly talking about what to order.

I read off a few choices I thought were good.

I decide to go with one of them and let them choice before ordering.

After a debate with myself, I settled for the Alfredo pasta and garlic bread and a salad.g

When we finished we all sat and waited.

It seemed everyone was lost in thereon thoughts. Not sending to disturb the other

I was feeling worried about Jack, he didn't have anyone, as far as loving. I know that at one time he had loved me, but my heart wouldn't allow that then and slowly we drifted away. Now I just wanted him to be happy. But I didn't know how.

I sat there and watched them two though not making it obvious. She seemed a bit worried and he seemed a bit sad. I wasn't sure what was going on in their minds but they both seemed deep in thought.

I glanced at Jack briefly, but he was staring intensely out the window. At first I was going to disregard his gaze, but then I saw something in it so I followed.

I looked around and watched how everyone seemed happy. I then turned my attention back to them. "What's going on?" I asked noticing them staring out the window. I followed their gaze and peered outside

I just pointed as I watched a girl who I remembered meeting just before leaving town. I knew her name was something like a bird and started with an R. (I thought we should bring her back, and cause trouble)
