Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I got out and semi dressed, I had brought my under clothes in case he had woken. I was still mildly modest about my body. When I saw him walking around I just walked to my bag.

I finally went back to the room to see if she was out only to find her half naked searching through her bag. "um, I had ordered room service for breakfast, if you don't mind." I said walking further into the room and grabbing a towel. "it should be here soon."

"Okay, that sounds alright to me," I said.

I then grabbed my bag and headed for the bathroom to take my shower.

I finished getting dressed and sat down.

After my shower I got dressed Nd came out to see the food was here already.

I sat eating quietly. When I saw him I waved.

I put my things up and joined her in eating. "any idea as to what we're going to do today?" I asked.

"Nope, that's why Jack is coming up here after lunch. I don't know why he said lunch but whatever."

I just shrugged my shoulders. "okay then."

I eat quietly.

"do you think we'll make it far?" I asked curiously.

"I can't answer that, you don't know how many lives have been taken after I say yes or no. I mean taken as in captured, and some actually have died."

I looked away embarrassed. "sorry." I muttered.

"It's okay, I just don't want to lose you too," I said and looked at him.

"I'll be fine." I said giving her a reassuring smile.

I looked away. "I'm sorry, but I've just lost so many friends to these people," I said as my tears began to well up.

I sat my food down and moved next to her. "it'll be okay, we'll get through it. Neither of us, or Jack will get hurt or taken." I said pulling her to me.

I curled into him. "Just don't sacrifice yourself for either of us. Please, I can handle being taken, and I have." I said.

"for you maybe, but I'm not so sure I'd do that for Jack. But I'll do my best to stay out of that situation, but that still doesn't mean I would want you to get taken either."

"I know, but don't do it. Ok? If something happens to me, stay put for awhile and I'll find you. If I don't, assume the worst and run off."

"sorry babe but I can't promise I'll be able to do that. Now that I have you back I'm not sure I'll be able to let you go again. I'll do my best and stay put for as long as I can,but if I don't hear from you soon then I'm coming to look for you." I shook my head stopping her from protesting. "I know you wouldn't want me too, but I love you too much to just sit back and let you die."

"They won't kill me, well, if the right group takes me they won't. But the last time I checked we were only running from 2 of the 4 cabals." I said.
