Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I staid silent and paid for the room. They worked the system and found one that was above his since the next available one was at the opposit end of the hall from him.

"Alright, I'll be there in a moment ok? I'll take the extra card so I can walk straight in." I said and kiss Nick on the cheek before going after Jack.

I nod as I took our bags up to the room. Once inside I head straight for the shower.

I go and talk to Jack. Which he was very understanding because he said he felt the same way. That we weren't going anywhere, and didn't seem to think that this had anything to do with Nick at all. So with our discussion over kinda early, I go back to the room and come in quietly and sit on the bed.

After my shower I grabbed one of the towels and realized I didn't bring my clothes with me. I wrapped the towel around my waist and went to the room and saw Rayla sitting on the bed. "oh sorry, didn't think you'd be back so soon." I said graving my bag.

"Nor I, but it turns out that he felt we weren't going anywhere either so no harsh words were shared or anything. It was kinda like we said I don't want to date anymore, shook hands, and agreed to be friends," I said and smiled as I noticed his current state. Our first time at dating I would've blushed a lot but I wasn't as modest anymore. Not that I've done anything, just that it didn't effect me that way.

"well at least we won't be going at each others throats because you two ended on bad terms." I said with a smile. I then remembered I was still in my towel. "I think I should put some clothes on.

"Well, I don't really want to look at any of your stuff." I said.

I threw her a knowing look before heading back to the bathroom. Moments lateri came out fully dressed ready for bed.

"well it's been a long day so I'm going to go ahead and go to sleep. Um. You can take the bed. I'll be fine on the couch." I said grabbing a pillow from the bed.

"No you can sleep in the bed with me, I've gotten used to that," I said.

"you sure?" I asked her.

"Yes, I wouldn't have offered otherwise."

"okay then." he put the pillow back before climbing into the bed.

"Just another change." I said.

"what would that be?"

"Well, before I wouldn't let a guy, boyfriend or friend or whatever, sleep in a bed with me. Now I just don't care as long as their hands stay off me."

I nodded my head in understanding. "I'll make sure to keep my hands to myself."

"Good," I said.

"good night." I said as I turned the lamp off on my side and laid down in the bed.

I turned off the other light before looking at him. "Night," I said then fell asleep.

I laid with my back to her so I wouldn't be tempted to touch her.

I sleep until the next morning and wake before he does and grab the shower.

By the time I woke up I heard the shower going. I got out of the bed and walked around the hotel room just looking at everything, before ordering us breakfast from room service.
