I woke up to someone yelling at me. I looked down. They were telling me it was my shift. "Okay. Okay." I called down. I started making my way down the tree.

I got up looking at Adam. His turn for the shift I thought smiling.

Once he was down I looked around the camp to try and find something to occupy my time with, but found nothing. My workout didn't go so well, and now I was bored.

I went to the spot where Waylan had been doing watch before. I slapped my face a little to wake up. I stared out into the night.

I managed to lay down so I could rest. Get my vampire blood to heal myself.

I sighted going over to the girl "hey do you mind helping me out with my knife throwing? " I asked

I turned and looked at the girl and nodded my head. I took her to a clear space for us to practice. "that tree can be our target." I told her

I fell asleep. My body starting to heal faster.


I kept watch. It was boring but it was my turn.

"Ok" I said nodding. I took a deep breath taking the spheres from my pockets and started throwing them one by one.

I stood back and watched her technique and tried to find her strengths and weakness, after she was done and went again I was able to give her helpful tips. "what you want to do is get a firm stance, find one that's comfortable to you. That will help to actually hit the target." I instructed as I took note that she had missed quite a few. "then you want to get a mental image in your head of what your target looks like and where you want to hit. Let the energy flow through you and release with a flick of the wrist." I said demonstrating as I explained.

Sometimes I nodded on and off. When was my shift over?

I nodded listening to her advice. "Ok.. I can do that" I said picture picturing the dark creature that killed my family. Taking a deep breath i threw a knife in the center if the tree.

"great job. Let's see if you can do it again. Try and go for the same spot." I said as I went to remove the dagger

I shrugged my shoulders not really knowing. "if you're really tired I can take over for you.."

"I am. I wanna go back up in my tree. I've been doing this for hours."

"Its alright" i said grabbing my knifes "its my turn to watch"

I climbed back up my tree. I tied myself back in. My hoodie was already up so I let my head rest on the tree. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep
