I looked up at her. "Just can't shake off...my nightmare."

"Maybe your thinking way too much of your loved ones?" I asked "I know the memories are still in your brain and its harder to keep going when this is happening but you have to try to think of a better way for that to fuel you instead of making you feel how you are feeling now"

"thanks." I said with a genuine smile. "stay right here." I instructed his as I helped him sit near the fire. I went over to my bag and searched through til I found something better to wrap his leg with. I removed my shirt and put on a tank top. I found my water bottle with some water in it and brought it with me. I had forgotten about the other two until I passed by them. "hey you okay?" I asked him

For whatever reason I felt like helping everyone tonight. I had momentarily forgot about the other guy. I seriously need to remember names. "try clearing your mind before you sleep." I suggested as I turned my back and headed back to my patient.

I tried to but it wasn't working.

"looks like you're not the only one having a rough night tonight." I said as I began to unwrap the bandage on his leg.

I tried getting up but failed. "Bring me my bag...Please."

I opened it and dug through it until I found my panic attack meds.

"You take pills?" I asked confused

"For panic..attacks..." I said as I found and opened the bottle. I took one and then put it back in my bag.

"Oh" I said. If he takes pills, will he even have a lot and what if he runs out?

I started taking a few deep breaths.

"Are you feeling better now?" I asked

"Starting too." I said softly.

I nodded my head towards the other two. "You're tree climbing friend over there. His nightmares are getting the best of him." I explained. What was his name? Adam! Ha I remembered. "Okay so we can do this two ways; either you take your pants off or I cut the rest of your pant leg. I can't work while they're in the way, but from the looks the of it, it didn't go too deep." I said standing to look at him.

"DO you have enough pills?" I asked

"Yes..I have a 4 month supply. But after 4 months I'm out." I said softly.


"Its fine. I'll take them off." I replied and started to take them off.

I stood there and waited until his pants were completely off. Once he sat back down I began to work on his cut. I poured water on it to clean it just enough and examined just how deep it was. "So there's good news and bad news." I say as i pressed the clothe to his wound to keep it from getting infected.

"I hope so too. I can cope but..That one was just really bad.." I said softly.
