Old life... New love..

He lives a sheltered routine life, used to order and schedule. That’s how it’s been since his wife passed. Before she died, they had the same routine and structure. Sex was for pregnancy and straight forward. His children, well mannered and reaching their early teens. 

She’s free spirited and clumsy. Travelling the world one month at a time. Her parents died and left her a trust fund for her to experience life at its best. She knows no schedule, and enjoys living. 

A job takes her to a small town, where she is to take photos of the beauty she finds. Renting a small house next to a large property. She goes over to introduce herself and finds the man less than pleasant.. but it doesn’t bother her and she soon finds herself annoying him for help each day.

How can he let someone new in his life when he had lost his only one. Everything she does, says, wears.. he compares it to her and when they become something more, he finds himself still saying she’s doing things wrongly.. can he let go of his past, and become something more with the future? and when he discovers old diaries in the attic that details a sordid affair with her ex boss, is it too late to see what he could have had.

I growled “woman!” I said trying to grab her but she moved quickly . I got up and ran after her.  Loving us this way.  I loved that we enjoyed each other.

I laughed giggling hard “oh you’re awake now are you? That didn’t last long.” I ran into the shower turning the cold water on to blast him. “Oops!”

“You evil strange woman!” I grabbed her and pulled her to me.  “Your not going to get away with that.”  I turned the water on warm and kissed her.

I moaned against his mouth, wrapping my arms around him. “I enjoy your kisses.” I felt his erection against my stomach and pulled away glanced down “Well hello.”

I smirked.  “He seems to pop up when we kiss.”  He’ll he pops up just look at her.  I kissed her again and smirked.  “How you feeling?”  I asked before I lifted her and she wrapped her legs around me.

“I feel better, not as sick or tired.” I looked at him, wondering if we were going to have sex again, he hasn’t really made a move since I told him. “Umm how are you feeling?

I looked at her.  “I’m good, Umm we should hurry you know the kids are probably hungry and you should eat too.”  I was so lost with this woman.  I wanted her but what if I hurt her or the baby.

“Oh uh yeah sure.” I nodded as he sat me back on my feet “we should definitely get over to them, they’re ok being on their own right?”

I nodded. “Yeah they are good kids and know where they can and can’t go.”  We got out and dressed.  “They really seem to like you.”

“That’s good, I like them too.” I smiled “they’re good kids, and I’ll try to remember to not wear a bikini around your son anymore. I didn’t think.” I got out starting to dry my hair, and wrapped the towel around myself.

I shook my head.  “I will need to talk to him about that. I’m sorry, he just isn’t around beautiful woman much.  It’s my fault I guess but I hinestly don’t know how to explain things to him, I can write and explain to strangers but not him.”

“Maybe just talk to him, I mean you had the sex talk yeah?” I smiled. “So just say, staring at women who is your girlfriend isn’t allowed.” I laughed “I have no idea.”

I laughed.  “I um haven’t had the sex talk with any of them. I know at school they learn some sex-ed, but I’m not sure what.”  I groaned.  “But your right staring out my girlfriends chest is not aloud.”

“You should talk to him, I mean hate to say it but he’s going to experience morning glory and erections pretty soon, you’ll have to tell him about those.” I wiggled my brows “Speaking about an erection.” I pushed against him “where did yours go?”

I laughed.  “Well we are having a conversation about my son so I’m pretty sure he went away.” I kissed her.  “Do you like it when I kiss you out of the blue?”  I asked because maybe she was more like Mary and didn’t like it.

“I do. I like it when you kill me fullstop.” I nodded, holding up two summer dresses “which one for tonight? You know we don’t have to go here if it’s too hard with Mary and everything. I’m happy to grab dinner and eat at a park. That’s one thing about me, im far from her that maitence.. oh about New York, is that still happening or not anymore?”

“We can eat there it’s good food.  And he’ll yes I wanna go!” I kissed her.  “I stil want it to be just us though I think we can take that time and really get to know each other.

“I think you’re right. It’s for five days, but only if you’re ok with leaving the kids. I’m sure you’ll love it, you might find some inspiration for another book.” I realised we weren’t having sex and slipped my shoes on. “So what else does Dolly’s serve, I remember you mentioning that place right before you slammed the door in my face.”

I laughed.  “Yeah um sorry, it has anything pretty much.  Dolly is a lovely older lady her daughter and granddaughter run it now.”  We walked over to get the kids and they were waiting on the porch.  “I think they are hungry.

“Yes I think so too.” I smiled. “So who’s ready to go and eat? I’m starving.” We drove to Dolly’s and walked in, immediately gaining looks from people sitting down. “Umm, what table do you kids want to eat at?” i followed them to a booth and slid in beside Greg with the boys opposite us and kenzie next to me

Lindsey walked over and smiled.  “Well looky here its Greg and the kids!  But whom might this lovely lady be?”  I shook my head at Lindsey.  “Lindsey this is my girlfriend Tessa, Tess this is Dolly’s granddaughter.”  I smiled.  “Well it’s about damn time someone snagged you up Greg!  What can I get y’all to drink?” She said as everyone told her with Kenzie being last.  “I’ll take chocolate milk and daddy and Tessa are having a baby!” She said beaming.

I almost dropped the menu, never in my wildest dreams did I expect her to say that. “Ah, so I’ll have the steak with fries and salad thanks.” I could feel my cheeks burning as others looked over after she said that.

I leaned in and whispered.  “Sorry, cats out of the bag everyone will now know.”  I kissed her Cheek.  “I’ll take the normal and I’m sure the kids will too. Thanks Lindsey.”  A lot of the diner regulars were staring at our table.  I felt bad for Tessa she isn’t use to it like I am.

“Yeah I’m kind of not used to this much attention. But the kids seem happy so I’m ok.” I smiled up at him. “I actually need to see the doctor sometime, and call work.” This week would be busy with work and arrangements. “I’m guessing I’ll need to sell my van also and buy a car.”

I smiled.  “Or you can use one of mine.  I need to sell your van. May I come with you to the appointment?”  I was so excited and if she said yes I would smile the biggest ever since meeting her.
