She is mysterious, and strange to most people. Dark clothes, dark make-up. She loves dark stuff. Then suddenly her mother dies, and her baby sister. Leaving her and her father. Her dad checks out on the murder, but she still is shifty. She was out doing a few illegal things that night, so she can't tell. The cops decide to assign a watch on her. He wasn't too old, fresh out of the academy and only 21. He gets a cover up as a teacher at her school, a history teacher. He's good at it too, and another shock, so is she. But he doesn't find out until he sits down with her. He's kinda of annoying to her, but also annoyingly cute. Maybe there's a romance dwelling beneath them.

I pulled in the drive and sighed, that was the most uncomfortable silence ever. I looked at her "I have some calls to make, let me know if you need help with anything or want to just hang out." I didn't want to bother her in her room.

"Okay," I said and went in my house.

I called my boss and filled him in on the days work and then went into the room and laid on the bed.

I go to my room and do the remained of my homework before turning on my radio and making it loud. But not neighbor disturbing loud.

I groaned. How could she think with that noise blaring. I stuck my earphones in and tried to block it out.

I started drawing as I had my IPod on shuffle. All kinds of genres came up, and not many were rock. Unless they were older.

I get out some clay and go get a bowl of water. I start shaping it quietly while listening to my music. Then I went looking for my sculpting tools and my stuff fell creating a loud crash.

(sorry, i'm not getting any of these updates. we've had some big storms and the power and net keeps crashing, I think it sends and it hasn't been grr.)

I was up and off the bed and into the kitchen, my gun held out and pointed at what I thought was a intruder. My eyes widened when I seen the tools on the floor, "Shit I am so sorry" I put the gun away and bend down to help her.

I had just stared at him. "Dont worry about. My dad did it once too, except he actually shot me." I said as we cleaned it up.

"I do this a lot, make a mess."

"he shot you??" I asked shocked as hell.

[Mizho Sohma]

"I went to the hospital and court proved it was accidental. When sneaking out watch out for pet and or baby toys and do not wear all black winter clothes.

I laughed, "Duely noted" I grinned and picked the rest of the things up and sat them on the counter bench.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Yeah, I need to organize things. Just not while I am in the middle of a sculpture," I said and looked at the blob that was nothing now but had some shape.

I looked at him. 'Do you know how to sculpt?"

[Mizho Sohma]

As we sat there one of my favorite love songs comes on and it makes me blush with him being with me.

I noticed her blush when 'don't stop believing' came on, ok this was a little uncomfortable but more cheesy romantic than anything, "Uh no I don't know, would you want to teach me?" I asked her to try break the tension.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Only if you want to learn, you can help me with this. I don't have a specific idea in mind for it right now," I said. I smiled at him softly.

[melbender]

"Sure it'll give me something to do." I said moving closer towards her. Her hair had fallen over her eyes and without realising what I was doing I reached up and tucked it behind her ear, "Oh umm Im sorry."

[Mizho Sohma]

"It's OK, my parents do it often enough. And my teachers," I said and moved on to the lesson.

It took me a second to realise what she said "what do you mean teachers do that?" I asked following her.

[Mizho Sohma]

"All my teachers are OCD about my hair in my face, even the girls. They tell me that I don't need to hide my face, it's pretty. But now they hate me," I said.

[melbender]

I didn't like that. "Don't listen to those people. You're awesome. "

[Mizho Sohma]

"Thanks, but you're the only one beginning to understand why I would prefer to seem like a criminal than tell the truth." I said. Either way I may go to jail when it comes time.

I walked closer and cupped her cheeks, "Listen, Im going to help you. I will help find out who did this."
