Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I watched the movie, but mostly wondered why did we kiss.

I watched the horrific scenes but saw nothing. My mind was stuck on the fact that I kissed her and she had kissed back. But something was telling me she didn't feel what I felt.

I kept thinking about it and how it made me feel. If it weren't for the heartbreaking memory I would have felt only how much it meant. But unfortunately pain overruled it too. I kept my expression blank so he wouldn't see what it had done to me.

I was wrecking my brain trying to think back on what our relationship was like and what it would be like if we were to try it again. Certainly it wouldn't be the same.

I realized that I was still in love with him. Even though he hurt me and all that. I just couldn't shake it. I can pretend to love someone else all I want but he's the only one. Too bad he won't actually love me like he says he did.

What we had was great and I feel terrible that I'm just seeing that. But one thing I was sure of was loving her, I just had a tough time showing it. Simply because it was something new for me and I didn't work too well with changes then. But now I think I was ready to make that change to better my life. I hadn't realized the movie was over until the screen flipped back over the title screen. I snapped from my thoughts and grabbed the remote. "um I think I'm just owing to call it a night." I said standing up with my untouched soda.

'Yeah, I agree," I said.

I put the movie back and put our sodas in the fridge before heading up to my room. "if you need me, don't hesitate to come by." I said when she went to her room.

"Alright,' I said and made a note that his room is of limits unless there's an emergency. I shut the door quietly and lay on the bed.

I walked into my room and closed the door. I then took my shirt off and flopped onto my bed. Not making an effort to get comfortable. Maybe her staying wasn't a good idea, but I couldn't take her back out there; not with those guys out there.

I laid quietly wondering why did I have to rely on him? Why hadn't Jack done anything? Other make me laugh. I tried going to sleep but I was so confused that it was hard.

The rest of the night my thoughts kept me up and sleep was impossible.

I did find some sleep but it didn't do me much good. I felt worse than before I had gone to sleep.

When sleep finally found me it didn't last long because I kept seeing her everywhere.

I woke the next morning and went downstairs.

I staid in bed and just stared at the ceiling. When it was obvious I wasn't going to sleep I got up and went to the bathroom and took a cold shower in an attempt to not look so tired.

I knew he wouldn't mind if I made breakfast. So I went to the kitchen and made a meal.

After a while I got out and got dressed. I then smelled food cooking. I went down and seen she was cooking. "good morning."

I grabbed a bottle of orange juice from the fridge. "did you sleep well?" he asked trying to make conversation.

"I was up most of the night. You know it's a little strange for me to stay the night anywhere."

I nodded. "yeah so was I." I said taking a sip.

I just shrugged my shoulders. "rough night."
