Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I nodded. "I'm alright, that's all that matters," I said.

"you're right. So what do you normally do after work?" I asked sitting back in the couch.

"Sit at home, I use to go out but not really anymore." I said.

I shrugged. "Got tired of going out."

"well you should be doing something other than sitting home all day." I suggested.

I shrugged. "I normally don't get off until 3 or 4."

"oh okay." there was a knock at the door and I grabbed my Sally's. "that should be the food." I said going to the door. I paid the delivery guy and grabbed our food and went back to the loving room.

I smiled as he set it all up. When he finished I thanked him and took my food.

"want to watch a movie?" I asked before sitting down.

"If you want to."

I grabbed the remote and found the movie channels and found something good to watch.

I sat back and began to watch.

For the past few days me and Rayla have been hanging out and I kind of like it. Whenever Jack bail on her she would come to my house, either we would go to the woods and hunt or fight each other, or we'd just stay in and watch movies all day.

I was feeling better the more I hung out with him. Like I was the Rayla he knew before we broke up. Jack had a lot of work lately so to fill in that time, I would be with him.

"so what's the game plan for today?" I asked when she showed up at my house.

I thought about it. "We can go out, we can hunt, whatever," I shrugged.

"Alright," I said and went with him.

"how was work?" I asked. It had become a habit of mine to ask about her day. It just came as second nature to me to ask.

"Oh, you know how it is. It sucks,' I said. "All the customers were upset today."
