Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

Rayla has been the only girl I've actually let myself relax around. Everyone else I'm always reserved and hidden, only providing vague answers to personal questions. After a few weeks I just dump them and move on. Going through the same routine. Except with Raven, we had an agreement from the beginning that we didn't want anything serious and it was fine with us. But with Rayla everything seemed different.

I looked at the time. I sighed, "We need to go before we get in trouble with Jack. He's never had me around another guy, alone. That I've been into at one time," I said.

I shook my he and and laughed. "alright, no harm done." I said calling the waiter over to pay for the food. "but I did have fun with you today." I said honestly.

"So did I," I said. Though I hated all the real distance that was there. Jack and the rest of the problems we had.

After I paid we left and I walked her half way home.

When we got halfway we both stopped. I sighed knowing that I shouldn't allow myself to be so open, I mean open enough to be friendly. But not giving him unwanted signals. "I guess I'll see you later," I began walking away. Suddenly deep in thought as I turned to go.

"see you later." I said and went the opposite way towards my house. As I walked I allowed my mind to think back on the good times we had when we were together. There was no mistaken that I cared for her deeply, but I could just never really get myself to love her fully.

I walked quietly and didn't even notice I was home until Jack was kissing me. I kissed him back but then pushed him away. We didn't say much that night because I was obviously tired. I went upstairs to my room and laid on the bed thinking.

I finally made it to my house with thoughts of Rayla still filling my mind. When I got to my room I tripped m clothes and climbed into the shower trying to clear my mind.

I lay there trying to go to sleep, but he kept invading my mind.

After my shower I change into a pair of shorts and laid on the bed with thoughts of her. Maybe going out was a bad idea.

I eventually fell asleep as my mind unraveled a bit and became jumbled. This was getting weirder honestly.

I did my best to rid her from my thoughts but i only ended up falling asleep with her on my mind. I wasn't sure what to make of it. I couldn't befalling for her, not again.

I woke the next day and got ready for work.

The next day I got up and went for my daily work out.

I got into my uniform and headed out.

I put on my work out clothes and headed down to the gym. Once I got there I ran for twenty minutes on the treadmill then began my workout.

I went to work at Gamestop, not a good paying place but it's okay.

I pushed myself to the limit getting rid of Rayla from my thoughts and it seemed to work.

I was too busy working to think of him.

When I was done my work out I took a quick shower and went out with a few friends.

Jack came by to see me, and buy a video game. He had a free day today, but I had to work.

We went to a bar and did what we do best, hit on girls and have fun.
