Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

I growled at him before backing away. I stood off to the side and watched him. He wasn't that bad looking, but she could do better.

R: I looked at him as he got up.

J: "I know you're mad Rayla, but you also know why I did it." I turned to the wolf. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were a friend of hers, naturally I don't want people asking me what happened to my girlfriend and say 'oh, well, she got eaten by a wolf'. The others don't like that I'm dating her anyways, they'd get angrier if I let anything happen to her."

I just looked at him and scuffed. I'll leave you two alone. I'll be at the cave if you need me. I said as I began to walk away. by the way, nice fight, kitty. I laughed and made my way back to the cave.

R: I shook my head. Then looked at Jack. I felt mixed emotions at seeing him. But I can't talk to him. I called out to Nick from this distance. He can't hear us like this.

J: I pulled her to me in a hug.

no he can't so maybe you should change. I suggested.

R:And wake up five minutes later. I chuffed and went to the bushes. I past out and he had a shirt laid out next to it. I put it on, thankfully it covered everything until we could get to the cave.

J: She told me about it when she woke.

When I got to the cave I brought my clothes inside with me and went straight to the back and passed out. When I woke up I pulled on my clothes and decided to wait for her to get back. For once since we broke up, I actually had fun.

R: I walked towards the cave and stopped when I saw him. He'd never seen me in just a shirt before, because we'd never been in this situation. I blushed uncontrollably and without wanting.

I gave her a small smile and turned my back so she could get dressed. But I had to admit it was a bit arousing to see her half naked like that.

R: I kept blushing while they looked away. I got dressed and sighed. "Alright guys, we're good," I said.

J: I looked at her and smiled. She always looked so small and cute. Even smaller when she was barely dressed.

I turned back to her feeling my self smile for the first time but it vanished when I noticed that guy was there too. Jack I walked to the mouth of the cave and just stood there.

R: I looked at him and saw his smile, but then it vanished. I knew Jack had caused it. I looked at him to see he mostly had his focus on me but then he looked at Nick with a genuine smile his way. A kind and friendly smile.

J: "Jack Allen, you are?" he asked.

None of your business I wanted to say. "Nick Johnson." I replied with a slight nod of my head. This was Rayla's boyfriend so I had to be nice to him, even if he did seem a bit off to me.

J: I looked at Rayla and she nodded confirming who this was. Her ex, the one who broke her. I didn't give any signs to know I knew though. "It's a pleasure to meet you," I said.

R: I watched him with a warning look. Both boys knew my stare, it meant no fight between them. Ever. I would be very disappointed and angry if they fought.

I had to keep my cool for Rayla's sake. He'll if it wasn't for her he'd probably be dead right now. But I had to respect her. Besides we were just getting back on good terms with one another. I couldn't ruin it over a worthless demon hunter. I flashed him my best friendly smile I could although I didn't mean it.

R: "Jack go home," I said. He was about to protest but when he looked at me he lost his protest. I gave him this look that scared him to death. He started walking back muttering to himself.

I looked at her a bit confused yet I was glad he was gone. "why'd you send him away?" I asked curiously.

R: I looked at him. "Clearly there's too much testerone levels with just you around, with him it makes you bristle. I can tell because you're pretty angry with him," I said. "You think he's under my league."

I shook my head. "not exactly. There's just something off with him that I don't like. I'm not sure what it is though." I said honestly. "but I'll do my best to get along with him for your sake."

R: I stared at him. "Not many shifters like bendanti, and it has to do with how they hunt some of us. I'm with him because his kind was also extinct before him. He understands me, somewhat. While most people don't get it. You weren't a project, I am." I said.

R: "Both of us were born in a facility. I've told you some of this but not all, to protect you and me. The Nasts want me back, I was born under them because they activated the gene. 4 families do these projects, your kind included. St. Clouds want to enhance your powers, but you were lucky. Had it not been for the Nasts I'd be human," I said. "And so would Jack,' I mumbled.

I stared at her in utter shock. I never really understood the full extent of what she did but now I knew. "so the Nasts pretty much saved your life." I said

R: I looked at him. "Hell no, they could've killed me. I'm an experiment, their first batch of resurrected supernaturals. It's disgusting because we don't want to be used this way," I said.

"no one wants to be used." I said and looked away. "well I'm glad that you're not human, I like the cougar in you." I said playfully and winked at her.
