“Of course I’m stressed. My parents are back, I’m pregnant to a man who isn’t my husband and we have 3 plus one child together. I’m beyond stressing.” I panicked over the small stuff and I knew I would until I felt some kind of calm here. “The doctor wants me to go in for an exam today or tomorrow, just to make sure everything is going alright.”

“Then we will go but baby you need to try to stay calm everything will work out. If your papers are done I’ll email them to my lawyer and he will give them to a friend that will help you with the divorce or you can use mine and I’ll use his friend. But I’ll get the ball rolling on that today while you rest and we will go and make sure everything is going good with the baby too!”

“No you keep your lawyer, I’ll use my own.” I would take that from him. “I just want it to be over with. I don’t want to be married to him anymore.” I sighed, and looked up “I’m sorry about my dad. I guess he’s isn’t as over it as I thought.”

I smiled. “Just me I’m a father of a little girl I understand his feelings and I’m not worried he just needs time to get to know me and when he does he will know how much I care about you.” I kissed her. “Eat up and rest then I’ll send all our paper work in and get that in the works!” I smiled and walked out knowing what I was walking into.

“So.” Her dad looked at him “couldn’t keep it in your pants yet again.” He snickered laughing to himself. “You kids will wear the consequence well won’t you. Maybe next time cover it up.” He sat down with a beer and sighed “what did you want to discuss?”

I couldn’t help but chuckle with him. I sat down and glanced at the beer it was early but I understood his need. “Well I’m not going to beat around the bush. The boys told me John would hit her, then he would cover it up by telling the boys to go outside where he would lock them out and do god knows what to jayde! I’m beyound pissed and I want to kill the son of a bitch.” I sighed. “I won’t hurt her, she is amazing to me and I care a lot about her!”

“I see.” He sighed, shaking his head “well I think you need to think things through before you run over there and do something you will regret.” He looked at him “she’s a smart girl, but foolish when it comes to boys.”

I looked at him. “I said I want to I didn’t say I was going to! I would never do anything that coupdnor would put my family in danger or that would hurt them.” The fact he thinks she is being foolish with me that makes me laugh. “I will enjoy proving to you the man I truly am.” I got up. “Right now I have two lawyers to contact and send paper work to.”

“Is that what’s she really wants? Or you’re pushing for it. I think you two are stupid to shack up and move in together after everything! Slow down! Get to know each other because there are children involved and you’re clearly not thinking about them all.” He shook his head with annoyance

I shook my head. “Seriously! You don’t know me! I would never push her into anything. And we are thinking of the kids. We aren’t lying to them or keeping things from them. We are being honest with them.” I stared. “For fucks sake maybe you need to ask her what she wants! Or maybe you need to get to know me more before you judge.” I walked away annoyed fuck him. I know what she wants.

I could hear their heated discussion and groaned getting back out of bed “What is going on, Walker just ignore him.” I soothed softly. “Come lay down with me, the kids are watching a movie and Macy is sleeping in the other room. Just come talk to me.” I knew my dad was going to annoy him

I sighed. Walking to her. “I’m sorry I don’t want you stressed it’s not good I’ll come in and do the paper work in there with you. I kissed her head. Then took her hand and walked us back into the room the boys made me smile as I got in bed and grabbed my computer to start my papers to my lawyer.

“I know something is on your mind, you should talk to me.” I urged, hating that he said nothing. “What’s wrong?”

I sighed. “I just want you happy and I don’t ever want to hurt you, I want to kill John for what he did to you and yes I know the most of it. I was told by the boys. I want to know everything he has done.” I said not keeping anything back.

“I’d rather not discuss that.” I said feeling sick thinking about it all. “What are you saying to your lawyer?” I asked hoping to change the subject

I sighed. “I want you to be able to tel me what he did, but to answer your question, I told him she was cheating and I sent all the evidence. She was cheating before we got together but I told him about us as well. I don’t want to hide anything.”

“Ok good.” I was relieved about that. “I don’t want to talk about what happened.” I said again. “I’m sorry, but I just done have anything to discuss regarding that.” Only because it was so painful and made me feel sick to think of everything I went through.

I sighed. “One day I hope you can tell me but I’m not going to push the subject as I already have a good idea.” I kissed her head. “I believe the boys know as well.” I looked at the computer and smiled. “Your father thinks I’m pushing you so I’ll lea e this for you to do, and I love you!” I laid the computer down and smiled at her. “I want to hold you right now and relax.”

“Pushing me? I’m the one who came onto you remember,” I laughed, eagerly accepting his offer for a snuggle. “You aren’t forcing me to do anything at all.” I reminded. “All I want to do is relax before I go back to work.”

I nodded and pulled her closer. “Then relax baby I got you. Go ahead a nap I’ll wake you a hour before we need to go to the doctors.” I was so excited for that.

“I can’t wait.” I smiled. “We get to see our baby!” I was definitely beyond excited for that. “Make sure you wake me, I fitness f to be late.” I said through a yawn as I closed my eyes cuddling against him tightly

I held her close and watched the boys till I heard Macy call for jayde. I thought it was cute. I got up and went to her and smiled. “Come on princess I’ll take you to see mummy.” She yawned and stretched with a smile. “Daddy I like my mummy being jayde she is nice. Can we keep her?” I smiled. “That’s the plan princess that’s the plan.”

Stretching out, I yawned as they were walking back in the room. “How about I take a quick shower, and then we can go.” I sat up, feeling somewhat more alive than earlier.

I smiled. I nodded. “Go on ahead I’ll get the kids ready.” I kissed her and Macy reached for her. “No I want mummy!” I looked at jayde and she smiled. “Okay But be good and careful of mummy’s belly.” I kissed them both and went to tell the boys to get ready. On my way I saw her mum. “We are going to go see the baby you both may come if you want.” I said not sure if it was okay to invite them but they will be my family so it felt right.

I looked at him and realised what was happening. Shut. Now I felt bad. “I’d rather just go alone, if that’s ok. Umm, it’s just my first appointment and all, the kids don’t really need to be there and there’s going to be slot going on. Maybe you should just stay here?”
