I stripped to my boxers and got in behind her. “Yes talk, no one said we have to live here but I’m not latteing you take my son and run! No we will talk more later after he is here.” I held her and had no clue what to do till she told me me. “How do you know all this?”

“I read every day about birth and pregnancy.” I said. “I know you probably want to call him one of her ridiculous names but I like the name Hudson. I know I’m not meant to name him, but I have called him that ever since I knew he was a boy. Hudson Chase.” I pushed, feeling the head and pushed until I was lifting him out and onto my chest.

I was so amazed by her. I smiled seeing my son for the first time. I kissed her head and looked down at him. “Hello Hudson, I’m so happy to meet you, I’m your daddy!” I said as my mum walked in smiling with Sam.

“I didn’t think you wanted a baby?” I pointed out as his doctor friend came in, to deliver the placenta. “He’s so small” I smiled, kissing his dark head of hair. “I could have never given you away. He’s mine.” I said with tears.

His mother stood smiling “he has his fathers nose, so perfect.” She knelt down “you’re both coming to stay with us, your father is organising the guest house and a nursery. Don’t worry about a thing.”

I smiled at my mum. “We will y’all about this later okay.” I whispered in willows ear the. Said louder “mum is that a invite for me as well?” I didn’t want to buy away from them both.

“If it means you’re divircing the bitch then you’re more than welcome back home. Plus, we have our first grandchild. Try and keep me away.” She laughed “oh he is just perfect. I’ll help Willow clean up, and we will meet you in the bedroom” she said holding up a towel for him.

I smiled. “Hell yes I’m divorcing her! And willow may I hold little Hudson?” I was dying to hold him and kiss his head like she did. I was afraid but I wanted to so bad.

“Of course.” I turned, passing him over. He was small in his strong arms. I noticed his mother taking photos as we all were close. “How do you feel?” I asked afraid he wouldn’t feel anything towards him

I smiled.  “Amazed, this little guy is ours.  I didn’t know I could feel this much love for such a tiny little guy.  Thank you willow.”  I looked at her and smiled.  “Really thank you and holy fu- I mean wow you did really good, you’re such a strong woman!” I leaned over and kissed willow on the head. “You amaze me!”

“I didn’t do anything, I just knew I needed to stay calm and get him out safely. You helped with that.” I said slowly getting up, I had to get dressed and his mum helped with that, and I noticed she had a cloth diaper and a outfit for him. “We can go shopping tomorrow, I’ll take you out to choose his things and some for yourself. It’s my gift to you both.” She said as Chase walked in with Hudson in his arms “I’d like to dress him, if that’s ok with you?”’I asked shyly

I smiled. “Of course it’s okay you’re his mum!” I helped her sit and then handed him over. I sat down on the other side of her and smiled. “He is so small, is he healthy?” I asked and Sam came over smiling. “He is a healthy boy willow did good and so did you. I can’t believe your a dad!” He smiled at me and I smiled back. “I know but I’m happy that I am and I’m so happy willow is his mum.”

I bed with a laugh, “yes you dodged a bullet with that one” but I still lfelr bad for lying to him. “I hope I haven’t ruined relationships for you with clients or friends.”

I looked at her. “How could you ruin any of those? My clients and I are fine. “Those people here were not my friends just hers. Mine have pretty much have left me a long time ago the ones that stayed you wouldn’t run them off, they will actually like you!” I smiled I liked she was worried about that. “He is handsome! You did amazing I just can’t believe you did all this! Fuck I’m sorry. I should have known.”

“How were meant to know? I couldn’t say anything, she-“ I stopped speaking and sighed “anyway, let’s get ready and go to your parents, I’m tired and sore but just need to learn how to attach and feed him.” I knew he would be screaming for milk soon.

I looked at her . “Shit can you amaze me more?” I laughed a little. “I can hire someone to help you breastfeed if you need me to, help let me know I’ll do whatever I can to help you!” I just wanted her to know I’m here for her and him.

I blushed “umm, I didn’t ah I think I’m going to need a lactating nurse because I don’t know anything if what I’m meant to do.” I felt stupid but aside from the books I wasn’t sure how to be a mother “maybe we need a midwife too?”

I smiled. “whatever you think, I’ll get.” I looked at him and smiled. “I’ll call now!” I got up and madenthe calls they were meeting us at my parents. I helped her and our son into my car and drove carefully as I helped her inside my mum got Hudson and met us inside the nurse came and the midwife to help us get settled I watched as our son latched on and ate like he was starved. “I swear I keep getting more and more amazed!”

“At what?” I asked clueless. “Surely you would have known all this with Sarah? The feeding and changing, I feel like I’m just winging everything. I haven’t a clue what to do.” I said, holding him close to my breast as he sucked with confident ease.

I laughed. “Sarah would have hired a nanny from day one, she wouldn’t have done any of this.” I sighed. “I like how you are, you have this confidence that not even you know you have.” I walked over and kissed our boys head and then looked at her. “Your refreshing, my parents love you already.” I knew if I wasn’t careful I would fall hard.

His lips against my skin, sent a shiver down my spine. “Yes, I guess we need to figure out this co parenting gig.” I smiled. “and I’m pretty sure your wife won’t be walking away without a work.” I laid out in the bed, yawning. “I’m not better, I was meant to just walk away. I know now, that I wouldn’t have been able to.”

I sighed I didn’t like the idea of co-parenting. “Sarah can try all she wants but I think my accountant and baby momma got me enough evidence to put a stop to anything she try’s!” I winked. “You are to good of a person.” I knew it and I hated that she was put in this position. “I don’t want to co-parent. I want to get to know you, parent with you!”

“Well yes, we can parent together but I’m not sure what you mean.” I thought that was co parenting. I looked at him “you took my virginity that night.”

I’ve just had your baby, this is the biggest mess I’ve ever been through.” I had to laugh because he was cute. “Maybe we should be friends first, we’ve barely gotten to know each other? Let’s just see what happens and we can go from there if you like?”

I gave a small smile. “Yeah, that’s a good idea. Sorry I’m not use to all this. I have been with Sarah for a long time. But I am divorcing her!” I wanted that to be clear. “I don’t know what it is about you but you make me smile.”
