We stopped so she could feed Hudson and then we are a little before getting back on the road when I pulled up I rolled my eyes. “Let the fun begin.” I said sarcastically and smiled at her so she knew I was with her. “Anytime you want to leave you say the word babe.”

“We may need a bird call or something.” I laughed, “ugh god this is going to suck.” I saw the huge gate of my mothers mansion, the security looked at me and smirked “nice to have you back, can’t wait to hear all about this. She’s got friends over at the moment, a luncheon or something.” I just had to laugh as we drove up “oh fun, I’m glad I wore my best clothing.” I grinned glancing at my shorts and shirt. “Least you dressed sexy, she will be happy to see you!”

I leaned in and whispered. “Don’t worry that ring was my grandmothers I would never give it to Sarah.” I kissed her head and smiled more.

Instant know you had broken up” mum pointed out. “Your mother must be thrilled to have a divorce burden the family name.” She took my hand and gazed at the ring “Wait- you gave her the ring! I didn’t think anybody had it. You mother said it was buried with her when I offered to purchase it.” She sighed dropping my hand. “It would look nicer with a manicured hand though, maybe in your sisters finger. Let her try it on!”

“You haven’t acknowledged your grandson.” I pulled my hand away. “And, the ring isn’t coming off my finger.” I looked down at it “it’s beautiful, and it’s mine now.” I had to wonder why people wanted to buy it tho.

“Well your son was meant for Sarah, I should have known you would seduce him into your bed. M” she shook her head “I wouldn’t have suggested you if I’d known what a harlot you are.”

I bit my cheeks and laughed “you set that up, ha! And it was on his desk, not the bed.”

I looked at her. “Your crazy if you think those things about willow if anything you just described Sarah. Willow is so kind hearted and the fact that we made our child who will probably never know the likes of you! We made him and we will make more. Your other daughters don’t deserve my grandmothers ring and of course I have had it this whole time I was meaning to give it to the one I saw fit to wear it and will you look at that, Willow is perfect for it and it won’t come off her finger.” I looked at willow. “I think I’m ready to go how about your babe?”

We walked out and as we got into the car I looked at her. “I’m so sorry your family sucks!” I hated that she really didn’t have anyone. “The ring looks really good on you, I like seeing it there.” Shit she wanted to take things slow.

“Yeah it’s beautiful, strange that you’re carrying a ring around though.” I held my hand up, watching the ring glitter and sparkle then I slowly slid it off my finger and held the ring out to him. “You should keep this safe.”

I slid it back on her. “I don’t carry it around I just had a feeling and it looks good on you I like there.” I pulled her hand to my mouth and kissed her ring finger. “I was serious when I told your mum that I was waiting and you are the one who deserves this ring. My grandmother would be proud.”

“Are you serious?” I looked at him and back to the ring, not sure how I’m meant to feel. “Are you proposing to me?” My heart was racing like crazy

I smiled. “Baby, when I propose you will know, I’m wanting you to have her ring and wear it for now when I propose I will get you another and then we can use this one for your wedding band!” I winked I know I was going to fast and most likely scaring her.
