My life was good, I was married to a good guy.  A military guy. He never talked to his family I never really asked why.  I do know he had a brother who was two years older than him.  We had been married three months before he got shipped off to war.  A week after I found out I was pregnant. On my 6 month check up as I was leaving I got a call from the military telling me there had been a ambush and my husband didn’t make it.  I cried all night holding my belly and telling my baby boy all about his dad.  The following week I went through all his things to locate a number or address to inform his family.  Once I found the address I sent off the letter.  

My son is now almost a year old and I still haven’t heard from his father’s family.  Maybe I didn’t have the right address.  Maybe they really didn’t care. But they were missing out not me!   I had a few things I needed for little Leighton jr’s party so I was shopping when I ran straight into what I thought was a break wall but was a guy who looked like Leighton.   


I looked at her and shook my head.  I wasn’t here to be nice I wanted my nephew and I was here to take him and raise him how my brother would have wanted according to his last letter I received he wasn’t happy with his so called church wife. When I found out she was pregnant with my nephew I had to find her.

Did he just say I was beautiful.  I shook my head.  “And you sir are obviously blind!”  I looked at the elephants.  “They are so big!”  I smiled.  “But they are beautiful creatures.”  I was disappointed I haven’t seen the giraffes yet.

“They are, have you even ridden an elephant? I didnin bali once, was great fun. They’re kind animals.” I sat back looking at her “swimming with dolphins was great also.”

I sighed looking out at it all. “I bet that is amazing all of it. I would love to swim with the dophlins and sharks that would be amazing.” I looked and saw a tall neck! “Oh my god!” I almost stood but Brody pulled me down and on his lap. I didn’t even care I pointed. “Look giraffes! Oh they are so pretty!”

“You’ve never seen them before?” I held her before we were kicked off the train for her standing. “I have a serious question for you, does a giraffe wear a bow tie at the top or bottom of his neck?”

I was in awe. “No I have never see them like this before do you know if we can feed them? You know they have blackish-blue tongues!” Then I turned and smiled and answered seriously. “That depends on the giraffe sir! The more uptight the giraffe the closer to his head the more laid back giraffe wears them closer to the the bottom!” We started at each other and busted out laughing.

I laughed, a full belly laugh. “You’re hilarious, and probably true.” I smiled. “I’m not sure about feeding them, they’d probably bite our hands unless they were used to them.”

I smiled. “No they won’t bite you as long as you just hold your hand flat. I’ve read up on them because they are my favorite. I mean just look at them so tall and beautiful! Oh and when they are pregnant they are so magnificent and caring even the male stands by his mate caring for her. It’s just beautiful!” I sighed watching them from a far. I leaned back not realizing and enjoyed being in his grasp as I held Leighton.

“Well, I didn’t take for an animal expert.” I grinned as the train came to a stop. “What do you say, a feeding class?” I suggested to them both as we stood up to leave.

I smiled. “I’d love that if they have one.” I looked down “and I told you I’m in school to become a vet!” I laughed. “So I broaden my arising and study erotic animals when I have time!”

“Erotic what?” I was damn confused now “erotic animals?! Is that like animals mating?”

I laughed. “Of course your mind goes there ypical male!” I gave him a little shove. “Erotic animals are animals outside your normal household pets.” I shook my head laughing. “Has nothing to do with mating.” As we got closer. “Oh my god thank you for this Brody!” I wrapped my arms around him it was so amazing.

“No worries, maybe I need a lesson on mating and erotic.” I joked back, giving her a kiss on the head as I pulled away. Christ. What the hell?! I grew nervous, realising I liked her a hell of a lot more than I should. “So hold my hand out? Yep I can do that.”

I just stood there I know he said something but I don’t know what it was because he kissed me! Well he kissed my head but still why? He turned and looked at me. I saw his mouth moving but I still couldn’t understand. “What?” I said shaking my head. Then added. “You kissed my head?”

“Did I? Are you sure?” I winked playing dumb as I grabbed the bag of food and held my hand out to feed the animal.

I just stood there for a while then I grabbed the bag back and started to feed another giraffe that came up. “Oh my god I’m never forgetting this day, this is so amazing!” Leighton laughed and I just kept feeding the giraffes not even realizing brody was staring at me. After we fed the giraffes and Leighton gave a big yawn I smiled. “I think we should call it a day he is tired and I’m a little sore, if you know what I mean.”

“Sore? Why’s that?” I grinned. “But you’re right, let’s get him home to bed. He’s exhausted the poor boy.” I picked him up easily and held him against my chest feeling his doze off as we walked out. “Today was fun, I don’t think any of us will forget it.”

I smiled liking he wouldn’t forget today.  At home I watched as he put Leighton to bed and then I walked out to go pump.  As I was I thought about that kiss on my head.  Yeah it wasn’t much but I still didn’t understand the why.

“So I’m going to do some work and then order pizzas for dinner, are you hungry?” I asked as she stood there with her pump.

“No not right now but I’m a little sure.” I held up the pump. “Gonna release these babies then relax by the pool and do some homework if your not using your laptop?”

“Uh no need to use mine.” I walked to the cupboard and opened up the door to pull out a pink wrapped present with a bow. “Enjoy, and don’t complain because I’m l won’t listen to it.” I smirked

I looked st him. “You didn’t need to get me anything. Why did you?” I asked stepping closer. I couldn’t believe he got me a laptop. My own laptop I’ve never had anything like this. “Wow this is just wow!” I wrapped my arms around him then kissed his check.

I squeezed her back, and stared down at her after she kissed my cheek. I couldn’t help it. I kissed her softly on the mouth, before I pulled away and half smiled “I’m glad you like it.” I walked away and needed a cold shower pronto.

I touched my lips “what the heck is happening.” I whispered. I shook my head and changed into my swimsuit and then took my new laptop out and laid on the lounge chair and started working on my assignment. I plugged in my headphones and was listening to some music singing along shaking my But as I laid on my belly.

I could hear a voice, and thought she was talking to me until I walked out and caught her singing. My cock half hard again just watching. Luckily the doorbell rang and it was food. I went and paid him for it and brought some out sitting opposite her with a smirk

I smiled good and my head popped up more. “Mmm that smells good.” I sat up trying to ignore the to tingles in my body as I saw him looking at me.
