My life was good, I was married to a good guy.  A military guy. He never talked to his family I never really asked why.  I do know he had a brother who was two years older than him.  We had been married three months before he got shipped off to war.  A week after I found out I was pregnant. On my 6 month check up as I was leaving I got a call from the military telling me there had been a ambush and my husband didn’t make it.  I cried all night holding my belly and telling my baby boy all about his dad.  The following week I went through all his things to locate a number or address to inform his family.  Once I found the address I sent off the letter.  

My son is now almost a year old and I still haven’t heard from his father’s family.  Maybe I didn’t have the right address.  Maybe they really didn’t care. But they were missing out not me!   I had a few things I needed for little Leighton jr’s party so I was shopping when I ran straight into what I thought was a break wall but was a guy who looked like Leighton.   


I looked at her and shook my head.  I wasn’t here to be nice I wanted my nephew and I was here to take him and raise him how my brother would have wanted according to his last letter I received he wasn’t happy with his so called church wife. When I found out she was pregnant with my nephew I had to find her.

I got up just before she fell and caught her. “Fuck” I muttered holding her in my arms and not knowing what to do. I took her to the couch and laid her down, checking her pulse and forehead. Everything seemed fine and I called the doctor, he told me to wait until she wakes but she should be ok. I left a note saying we’re in the pool in case she woke and some water. I changed into some shorts and put the kid in his swimmers, then went out to swim around with him

I came to and freaked out! I coughed and almost jumped up but my head was pounding I tried to make out his note but I couldn’t focus. I got up and tumbled my way to the kitchen where I heard noises coming from outside. Stumbling out. “Brody?”

I looked up from the pool where I had Leighton on my shoulders and concern grew “why aren’t you laying down?” I walked out and put him on the floor closing the fence. I walked over and felt her forehead, “do you need the doctor? I’m not sure what to do.”

I tried to focus. “No I don’t think so.” I rubbed my eyes. “Did I hit my head? It’s kind of all fuzzy and I don’t feel well. Where is Leighton is he okay?”

“He’s fine. We’ve been swimming.” I looked at her “you didn’t hit your head but you should lay down and rest. I think you’ve got head spin.” I lead her back to the couch “don’t move. I’m going to change.” I picked up leighton “I mean it, do not get up because I will know.” I said more seriously and carried him upstairs to change and dress us both.

I laid there wondering how he would know if I got up? I didn’t know what to do or say. Something was wrong but I don’t know what. I don’t think I needed to see a doctor and plus Leighton needed to be looked at first.

I came back down, and she was still on the couch “alright, I have a doctor coming to check on you in half hour. He’s a good friend of mine and will make sure everything is ok.” I said sitting opposite her

“I’m okay I swear Leighton needs to be looked at before me.” I said trying to sit up and getting dizzy. “I didn’t know you had another brother? A twin? He is just as handsome.” I smiled and fell back down. “I hope Leighton looks more like you and your twin than your other brother!” I laughed. “My breast hurt really really bad! I need to relieve this milk!”

She was talking crazy. “Twin?” I asked. “Oh dear, you’re needing help.” I heard the doorbell and opened the door for the doctor hoping he could help her. I told her what had been happening and he went in to check on her and her son.

I ignored him and walked him to the door thanking him for everything. I walked back over with whatever this pump thing was and sat it beside her. I put her son to bed and then sat watching her, finding myself stroking a piece of fallen hair against her cheek and tucking it behind her ear.

I felt someone’s fingers brush my cheek and farted awake. “What?” I glanced around then realized where I was. “Oh my god I had a weird dream!” I grabbed my breast hissing. The spotted the pump. I grabbed it and shoved part of it to him. “Plug that in please!” I didn’t even care he was still in the room I lifted my shirt turned it on and sighed when the milk was pouring out. “God that feels good, where did you get this how did you know I needed it?” I asked and he tirned and just stared.

I was unable to look away. “Umm.” I glanced anywhere but her breast. “The doctor. He said try it.” I cleared my throat standing up and turning around to face the window pretending I was looking outside at something “he checked you both out and you’re ok.”

“Leighton?” I asked moaning as I was pretty much on 8ounces from both boobs already. I closed my eyes and just let it come. “Umm I’m getting full can you hand me two more bottles!”

“Uh sure.” I grabbed the two, still not making eye contact and handed them to her, and took the two she gave me. “Umm So leighton is asleep. He’s fed and bathed and doing fine.”

“Oh good.” I said and the. I was finally done I got a good three bottles just now. I covered myself up and sighed. Getting up I took the stuff over to wash it. “I need to call your doctor and thank him. I needed that.” I walked back over and sat down so is Leighton here in your home or in the guest house because I’m not comfortable going to the guest if he is here. I just don’t like being away in case.” He seemed distracted.

“He’s just in the other room having a nap, he will wake soon no doubt and want some dinner.” I said with a yawn. “So uh, why don’t you go take a shower and I’ll make something. I hear hot water is good for Umm, the letdown.”

I smiled. “Yes and not that I relieved myself some it will actually help! But I can make dinner you seem tired.” I didn’t want him to have to cook that’s my job!

“No it’s ok. I have a couple steaks out anyway.” I shrugged “you rest a bit. I don’t mind cooking at all, I do like it.” I walked off to the kitchen and grabbed the pan out.

I sat down then got up then sat back down. I couldn’t just sit here. I got back up and went to the kitchen. “Can I help? I don’t like just sitting there.” I went and grabbed some stuff for a side salad and started to mix it up. When I went to grab for something I guess he needed it to cause his hand landed on mine. Damn the electricity he sent through me.

I looked at her, her hand still on mine. Damn it did things to me. “You go, I’ll wait.” I said dropping the knife and allowing her to use it. “So, steak salad and pasta, sounds interesting.”

I smiled “yeah, I can whip up a quick dessert how about melted lava cake!” I moaned. “It’s so bad but so good!” I did what I needed and went to hand him the knife. “Umm you okay?”

“Umm all good.” Her moans. Went straight to my dick. “I’ll be happy with no dessert tonight. I have to get up early anyway.” I couldn’t think. “You’re felling better I take it?”
