Fake Fiancé

Christmas in New York is her favourite time of year.. or well it was, until her parents called to say they’re coming to stay for the holidays and can’t wait to finally meet her fiancé.. It usually wouldn’t have been a problem, but the major downside was that there’s no fiancé.. she’s as single as one can be. She’s got a great job, finally moved into her new apartment and enjoying life, as a single woman with a cat. The thought of having a man around, warmed her heart but none were interested in her. With her sisters upcoming wedding, she knew the pressure was on to settle down and the words I’m engaged were being blurted our after one too many drinks after endless nagging.

She had her eye on someone, and not just anyone.. her boss. Like that would ever happen. Emotionless and arrogant, he could be the perfect candidate.. Well, there was no harm in asking right?

I kissed her and held her tight as I dozed off waking up I kissed her again and whispered “wake up beautiful merry Christmas. I want to give you a present first.” I kissed her which was coming to be a habit.

“Does it involve wine and strawberries?” I grinned sleepily, stretching out I wrapped my arms around him. “How did you sleep?”

I laughed. “I slept really good best in a long time. How about you?” I reached over and into my bedside chore pulling the box out. “Merry Christmas.” She will get the matching bracket in front of everyone.

“Now?” I sat up with a eager smile. “I must look a mess right now.” I tucked my hair behind my ear and Unwrapped the gift, lifting the lid I gasped “It’s so beautiful! I love it Thankyou!”

I smiled. “Good cause I had no clue what to get you.” I kissed her neck. “Let’s get ready and start making breakfast together.”

“You know they’re going to talk about a baby all morning right.” I laid there staring at the ceiling, wondering if last night we fell pregnant. My worst fears were it wouldn’t happen. “Do you think it will take long?”

I looked at her. “Ummmm I honestly don’t know I only know it takes a male and female to make a baby.” I laughed. “Should we go see a doctor?” I felt stupid. “I mean I have no clue.” I ran a hand through my hair. “Umm Let’s not think about that now, how about we just try to make a baby again in the shower?”

“In the shower?” I blushed. “Umm well i know the woman has to be ovulating, so I should find out when I am and we go crazy then.” I laid back and looked over at him “how about in the bed first again?” I was more nervous for him to see me completely naked in the shower like that.

I smirked “okay then we shower!” I said rolling over on top of her. “Making a baby is fun!” I kissed her neck making her laugh. I pulled my shirt off her and she was beautiful. Kissing her everywhere. I entered her slow and moaned “Damn you feel so good.” I went slow and followed her lead because I know she had to be sore. As she started moving more I did too.

“We should just do this all day.” I said as we ended up in the shower, kissing and my legs wrapped around his waist. “I’m going to be so sore later... how are you still hard?” I rocked against him, kissing down his neck.

“I’d love to do nothing but this all day.” I loved that she really was a little wild cat. The nickname was perfect for her. I smirked thinking about it some more.

From the shower and back to bed, we were going downstairs late to breakfast with everyone already sitting up at the table eating. “Sorry” I blushed, wondering if they knew what we were doing. 

“Merry Christmas!” Laura caught Rhett by surprise and kissed him as she threw her arms around him, pulling away “oh what a wonderful morning! To be with the people we love.” 

“Yes it is, isn’t it.” I smiled rolling my eyes at her. “So we’ve agreed that what’s a better way to start this new year than husband and wife. We’re getting married, but nothing crazy. Just close family.”

I looked at her. “Yeah I will make some calls now and get it all worked out.” I smiled she just knew how to make things interesting and if she kept it up we should be okay. I pushed Laura off and went to her I rubbed her belly and smirked leaning down and saying. “Hear that little one mummy and daddy are getting married!”

“Don’t embarrass me.” I whispered with a soft laugh “you’ll get a reputation for being kind and loving otherwise.” I pointed out. “Anyway, mama wants coffee.”

“Decaf Honey!” I said knowing she would hate that. “I’ll go make calls.” Holy shit I’m getting married today to my personal assistant who Needed a fake fiancé. I went to my office and made the calls needed even got a friend to bring some dresses over for her to pink one. I was actually excited. I hoped she is too. I’m nervous as hell though too.

I sipped the decaf and nearly threw up. “I think I’ll stick with tea.” That was so not worth lying for. I picked up my gifts and passed them around, “Sorry I didn’t buy you anything.” I said to his ex who I really didn’t like.

I pulled Georgia into my lap and smiled. “No need to be sorry honey she wasn’t invited!” I said and kissed her.

“I was to invited you told me whenever I was ready to come to you and I do and this happens if anyone should be marrying you today it should be me!” She yelled and looked at Georgia “I don’t think she is really pregnant and I think this whole thing is a lie! I know how rhett feels about lies and I know when something isn’t right with him. And I’m telling you all this is as fake as fake gets! I have a pregnancy test in my purse you should take it and prove me wrong right now!”

I looked at her and stood up “you want me to pee on a test? I will but you know what, I think you’re just jealous because you cheated and he moved on. You’re not worth it, and don’t you dare come and tell me what I have to do. If you don’t like it then get out! It’s christmas, and I won’t have my favourite day of the year ruined because of your drama.” I shrugged “pregnant or not, we’re together and marrying so deal with it.”

I held her tight.  “Damn wild cat!”  She stood up for herself and I loved it.  “Yeah you know where the door is and mrs Williams wants you out as much as I do so bye bye!”  Looked around at everyone and smiled “as for everyone else let’s wnjoy Christmas and our wedding!  Georgia there should be a surprise for you showing up in about a hour!”

“She’s not leaving.” His brother stood defending her. “She’s here with me. Not you.”

“Well she shuts the hell up then!” I snapped back, picking up some bacon, and a croissant. “Whats coming here in an hour?” I asked. “Wait today? We’re getting married today?”

I looked at her. “Oh you meant New Years! Oh well yep today is that okay?” I laughed at how we totally screwed this up. I kissed her cheek and smiled. “Oh and seriously if you want to defend her bro you can leave to because today is for family. I don’t care who she is with she isn’t welcome here.”

I was scared about how this would go, marrying and saying a vow of promise when it wasn’t real. “Umm sure.” I couldn’t say no, that would give this all away. “Getting married today would be perfect, especially if it starts to snow.”

Shit now I pushed her into this. I kissed her neck and whispered. “Sorry. If you don’t want to then just say so Okay.” I went to kiss her again But was stopped by what came out of Laura’s mouth.

“I know he doesn’t love you! Because if he did he would have screwed me at his office the other day!”

I looked at him and then her, my heart racing. “What day was this? I’m only asking because I’m there all day, everyday.. literally, when he’s at work so I am. I arrive the same time as him and leave the same time also, so which day was it that you was there and what time? You know as I also don’t eat lunch anywhere besides my desk.” I hated to think they really were together but I couldn’t do anything about it. There was nothing between us, only a lie.

She laughed. “Why do you really think he wanted you to have the day off? It’s because he wanted me and he has always fantized bending me over his desk!” She laughed more.

I sat there in shock. “What the hell laura I was in meetings all day so whatever game your playing it won’t work.”
