Fake Fiancé

Christmas in New York is her favourite time of year.. or well it was, until her parents called to say they’re coming to stay for the holidays and can’t wait to finally meet her fiancé.. It usually wouldn’t have been a problem, but the major downside was that there’s no fiancé.. she’s as single as one can be. She’s got a great job, finally moved into her new apartment and enjoying life, as a single woman with a cat. The thought of having a man around, warmed her heart but none were interested in her. With her sisters upcoming wedding, she knew the pressure was on to settle down and the words I’m engaged were being blurted our after one too many drinks after endless nagging.

She had her eye on someone, and not just anyone.. her boss. Like that would ever happen. Emotionless and arrogant, he could be the perfect candidate.. Well, there was no harm in asking right?

I rolled my eyes "it's not any of your business. you seem to think I want to screw you so badly, and I'm not ashamed of the fact I'm a virgin, I want to give myself to the man I marry.. which won't be you if you seriously think were marrying on New Years."

I looked at her. “Stay that way. Don’t give yourself to anyone. That’s really amazing I hope you find that someone.” I sat down. “We are in a fucked to mess and seem to be making things worse, I think we should tell them the truth.” This was going to be nd really badly.

"Are you kidding? Imagine what would happen if we told them the day before Christmas?" I groaned. "they would be angry, and then Laura would be all over you. My mother would throw the guilt onto me." I sighed, putting the wine down. "maybe we do a fake wedding and divorce after a year or sooner, it would shut them all up and neither of us are ready for marriage and kids. You said you don't want to ever be married, this wouldn't be a real marriage, we wouldn't love one another or share a bed. A house maybe, but only when we have to put on a show."

I looked at her. “You really want that? I don’t want that for you, you deserve someone better and that will love you.” I laid back and rubbed my face up to my hair making it crazy. “You really what to be in a fake marriage? Waist a year of your life what happens if you met some guy?”

"I highly doubt I will meet anyone. What about you? you won't be able to go have sex with your randoms for a year." I laid back beside him. "what a mess."

I laughed. “You know I don’t really do that, have Radom sex with random girls all the time, yeah I have done it but that was after I called off the engagement. I’m thinking you have the wrong idea about me.” I sighed. “But your right it’s a damn mess. I just don’t know how to fix any of it without someone or someone getting hurt.”

"well we need to decide before we leave this room, because our mothers are talking about an announcement in the newspaper tomorrow." I rubbed my eyes tiredly as I sat back up "we need to kiss. I mean practise because Im too damn nervous all the time and it needs to look real. Laura already asked why we don't show affection."

I looked at her. “Kiss?” I sat up. “Georgia what the hell are we really doing?” This just doesn’t seem right to me. She really is an amazing person. “You deserve better.” I wanted to kiss her but I was afraid that when that happened she would have a part of me forced.

"I don't know what the hell we're doing." I looked down at my hand and sighed. "You're right. this is wrong.." I slid the ring off and placed it on the table "this went from easy to just a huge mess and I love my job, I don't want this to make it weird which I'm afraid it will." I stood, shaking my head "I'm going home. I'll tell my family the truth."

I looked at the ring. “Wait let’s just get through tonight and tomorrow then we can stage a big fight or something and go from there.” I stood up not wanting her to go but I can’t stop her. It’s up to her now.

"A big fight on Christmas?" I couldn't help but laugh. "Fine, if you say so. I'll make it about Laura being here, and how inconsiderate you are to my feelings." I looked at him and the ring, holding my hand out "on one knee this time."

I laughed. I grabbed the ring. “You know I never really asked you to marry me in the first place.” I got down on one knee and smiled. “Please fake marry me and fake fight with me, then maybe we can have real make up sex!” I winked. “I’m kidding don’t worry.”

"That's too bad. I would have enjoyed the sex." I winked. "oh yes, I will marry you and crush your heart tomorrow." I grinned.

I laughed. “Okay you ready to go pretend you really love me?” I got up and pulled her hand in mine. I took a deep breath.

"Of course.. hang on." I turned looking at him, running my fingers through his hair and loosening his tie and top buttons, I untucked his shirt from his belt and stepped back. "You look freshly fucked." I winked.

I laughed “so not a good impression on your conservative parents.” I loved how it felt being this close and playful with her. “Do you really like my ass and think my anger is a 9 out of 10? I’m just wondering you know, am I that bad of a guy?”

"My sister is having sex, maybe they think I am too. I should be." I winked. "yes You're moody" I nodded, "and yes I may check you out from time to time." I laughed. "What about you? how often do you want to bend me over your desk?"

I laughed. “More than I should.” I wasn’t going to lie to her. “I know I’m not the only one in the office either I see how the guys watch you. But you carry on and don’t notice that’s one of the appeals about you.” I smiled. “But enough of that let’s get this going cause I’m so tired and the knot in my back is back.”

"For someone so smart, you really are clueless." I shook my head. "I'll massage you tonight, I've got oils so after dinner you can shower, and then I will give you an hour long rub."

What the hell did that mean for someone so smart I’m clueless. I wanted to ask but there was a knock on the door. “Son everyone is waiting.” I smiled. “We will be right there Dad.” I looked at her. “But first.” I said and kissed her I had to I needed to know what it would be like not as just for show but just us., and I knew I shouldn’t have because I was lost.

I stumbled, caught off guard as his lips touched mine. my hands on his waist as I meted into him, kissing back which felt nothing short of incredible and right. Soon we parted and I was struggling to breathe, not relaising how much I would enjoy that. "wow." I breathed, and went back in for another one, more forceful without hesitating.

Wow was right and fuck I was in so much trouble. As the second kiss ended I looked at her wondering if she felt it to . “We should Umm Yeah we should get out there.”

"we should" I whispered nodding. "I have dinner in the oven, which is ready soon." I shouldn't have kissed him again. This was going to end badly if I felt this after one kiss. but then it was just a once off. "Don't forget your drink" I nodded to the dresser, rushing off to catch my breath.

I needed the drink I went and got it downing it. I walked out to see her talking to our moms. I went to get another drink and noticed Laura flirting with some guy I could only assume was Georgias ex. Great I forgot about that tool. I needed another drink and fast.

"grandma wishes she could have been here, unfortunately her health isn't too good.. such a shame she won't be around to see you marry or have a grandchild." mum sighed sadly. "her one dream was to see you become a mother."

I ended up blurting the words out "I'm pregnant."
