"No there's no phone signal strong enough for a call.. I'm sorry about the island, i just don't know how to run one or know what to do." I admitted ashamed "Maybe you could help me, even after we leave here?"

I hugged her tightly "i love you more" i watched her get into her bedroom and went to mine calling Ally immediately

"Hello?" I answered a soft whisper as I sat up in bed. "Steven, is everything ok?"

[Demona]

"No it's not...why did you hang up like that on me?" I whispered sitting down.

[melbender]

"Ruby was crying and I needed to get Oliver ready for bed as he was half asleep on the floor." I laid back down, pulling the blanket up. "What's wrong?"

[Demona]

"I don't know, i thought i said something that upset you" i sighed

[melbender]

"Oh no, you did." I confirmed. "I hate that island steven. I hate that you walked out on me and the children like we were nothing to you, you broke me."

Lily stripped naked to take a shower, cradling her belly bump she set the phone camera on timer and took a couple photos to send Mason.

[Demona]

"But we've been through this hundreds of times i thought you had forgiven me by now"

[melbender]

"I thought so too." I laid there in the darkness. "Mason is trying to get time off to come to the island, he's unsure if he will though."

[Demona]

"I don't care about that now. What do you want me to do Ally? Go back in time change what i did? That is impossible so what can i do to be forgiven?"

[melbender]

"There's nothing you can do or change, it happened." I felt my eyes sting with tears "eight months you left us for. Not even a phone call." I bit my lip to stop the sob. "i just want to forget it."

[Demona]

"Ally please don't cry....i hate being away from you right now. And i'm so sorry i've done this, but then again, how can you forgive me when i haven't forgiven myself?"

[melbender]

"You're right. I don't think we'll be able to move forward.. I think maybe I'll just stay here, and you stay there with lily while you work." I hated to say it. "I'm afraid you'll always leave me steven, every time you walk out the door I worry you won't ever come back."

[Demona]

"What are you saying? Do... do you need some time apart? Is that what you mean?"

[melbender]

"Maybe everyone's right.. maybe we aren't meant to work and should divorce." I whispered, tears streaming down my cheeks. "Nothing is ever easy for us."

[Demona]

"Divorce? Ally where is this coming from!? Since when do you care what everyone says?"

[melbender]

"Since everyone looks at me like I'm your charity case who you got stick with after knocking me up." I snapped, hearing Ruby wake again. "I need to go, I'm tired and sore."

[Demona]

"Fine" i hung up and smashed my phone on the wall. I walked out of the room and went down to the beach. I didn't show up at the meetibg on time. I went into the restaurant halfban hour late "hello gentlemen, sorry i'm late" i sat down next to lily avoiding her gaze.

"You're over an hour late." I pointed out quietly to my father. "Anyway, it doesn't matter, we've settled everything so far and will meet again in the morning for results." She smiled standing up "Thankyou for coming."

The men each shook her hand and nodded at steven "Cross, your daughter has your business mind. We look forward to working with her, a smart girl she is."

When they walked away I hissed "you better have a good explanation dad because that wasn't cool."

[Demona]

"I don't know actually" i ordered a glass of whiskey "can i use your phone? I need to email Martha"

[melbender]

I groaned shaking my head at the waiter "don't you dare even think about getting drunk otherwise I'm out of here!" I hissed "use your phone, I'm waiting for Mason to call."

[Demona]

"I smashed it, i don't have phone anymore" i sighed "i won't get drunk just a glass!"

[melbender]

"No dad you're not drinking. You're meant to be sober anyway." I rolled my eyes pushing the glass away. "I'm getting driner delivered to the room as I'm tired and ready for bed. I ordered steak for you."

[Demona]

"Fine!" I got up "i'll see you in the morning" i said getting up and going down to pool

Ally barely slept at all. She regretted what she said terribly, reacting from stress and lack of sleep, taking it out on him. She asked Mason and Stevens mother to watch the older boys and packed a bag for herself and Oliver and Ruby, driving to the jet at 1am, she told the pilot to fly to Hawaii.

[Demona]

Steven went up to his room to shower before lily could find him down here. He got ready and wento get her @" morning sweetheart" he kissed her cheek softly and sat down on her bed as she finished getting ready "we're going to visit town today, you need to know everything there is about the island"
