"No there's no phone signal strong enough for a call.. I'm sorry about the island, i just don't know how to run one or know what to do." I admitted ashamed "Maybe you could help me, even after we leave here?"

"Where have you been?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest "you haven't even slept here.. where wa you?"

[Demona]

I waled toward the window and pointed to the pool "i was sitting there thinking all night" i smiled "so how are you?"

[melbender]

"Thinking? About what?" I asked putting my earrings in. "I'm ok. Would rather be lounging by the pool getting a tan but I'm hungry and craving bacon smothered in maple syrup." I grinned.

[Demona]

I chuckled "don't worry baby, come on let's get breakfast before starting to work"

"Are you going to be on time? You have to be punctual if you work with me, it's my pet hate when people don't show when they're meant to." I winked walking to him and kissing his cheek. "I had missed calls from mum at 1am, I've tried calling but she isn't answering." I saiid worried.

[Demona]

"Uhum, i am always punctual lily. Maybe i'm going through things?" I let out a heavy sigh "come on let's get moving"

[melbender]

"You and mum are fighting, I can tell." I shook my head "and no, as you missed the meeting yesterday."

[Demona]

"Yes we are! She asked for divorce are you happy now?" I walked to the elevator and asked it up.

[melbender]

"You're lying." I couldn't believe that. "She wouldn't ask for a divorce." Following after him as I dialled mums number but her phone was off. "What did you do?"

[Demona]

"This time i did nothing. But she still hasn't forgiven me for walking out on you, and i don't blame her" i pushed the lobby button "get in"

[melbender]

"So you're just letting her go?" I walked in sighing heavily. "Make it up to her. Do something to show how sorry you are. Maybe she's just emotional, lack of sleep does that to you."

[Demona]

"I'm not letting her go. Never" i shook my head "i'm just giving her space to think it over"

[melbender]

"Well she's overreacting, she didn't mean it." I assured hoping that was true. "Her hormones are all messed up and grandpa probably got to her again. For an old guy, he's scary."

[Demona]

"Yes he is. That gives you an idea what my childhood looked like. Actually i had no childhood, he did to me what jason did to Mason, except mason went to boarding school in europe and i went to military school for not wanting to do as he willed. When i got out, he was broke and had made a deal with Sara's dad, and i was engaged to a woman i had never heard of. My sister was promised to a man who was known to sell girls, and my mother kept crying and telling me i was the one who could help them all." I sighed "maybe i was distant because i was afraid of doing the same to you, they do say like father like son. And i hated the idea of becoming like him so i always let your mother deal with you and your brothers when you did something wrong" we went to the garden for breakfast.

"You're not like him, if you were then we would all be married off to people we didn't know and mum would be an alcoholic by now.. you're the complete opposite, that's why you work." I smiled sitting down and groaning at the sight of the buffet "can you dish up mine, equivalent to what you would eat so I don't like like I'm inhaling all the food?"

[Demona]

I chuckled and went to get us both food. We spent the day around town visiting all the important establishements.
"We're having dinner at the beach tonight, be ready at 8, and try your mother again make sure she's alright please". I walked to my room and went inside.

[melbender]

She still wasn't answering, I was starting to worry and Mason didn't know where she was either. "Maybe she went to Nan and pops farm house for some time away." It was the only thing I could come up with. "She took Ruby and Ollie tho."

[Demona]

"She did? Well maybe she was serious after all lily. Don't get your hopes up" i groaned and went in my room slamming the door behind me.

I walked into his room and sighed finding him face first on the bed. "You sleep, ill have dinner sent up here instead. I've got a lot of emails to get through anyway" I closed the door quietly and went downstairs to change our reservation.

[Demona]

"Lily don't send up food i'm not hungry. Thank you anyway"

[melbender]

"I'll eat yours!" I called out "I'm hungry. Get some sleep, big day tomorrow with builders flying in and conveyancers to go over building."

[Demona]

I got myself up and went to take a shower to try and relax a bit. But it didn't work, i walked out of the shower with my towel wrapped around my waist drying my hair with another towel.

I looked up at him as he walked out, sitting on the edge of his bed. "I hear you're not eating." I said softly to him.

[Demona]

"Ally..." i whispered walking slowly to her and seeing the kids asleep next to her "wait you're not here so i could sign off the papers immediately are you? And if masons did the divorce papers i'm killing him"

[melbender]

I stood shaking my head "there's not going to be any divorce baby." Standing up, I wrapped my arms around him "I'm sorry. I was emotional and angry, I took it all out on you and I shouldn't have." Burying my face in the crook of his neck "I love you so much."
