"No there's no phone signal strong enough for a call.. I'm sorry about the island, i just don't know how to run one or know what to do." I admitted ashamed "Maybe you could help me, even after we leave here?"

I chuckled and took a seat beside her "not my fault i'm attractive" i took out my phone and tried calling Aly and it worked "hey babe, how are you?"

I smiled "wonderful, I have Willow and Mason staying here, he went to work for a couple hours and she's playing with Oliver at the moment and he's not liking it one bit. Ruby just went to sleep and the boys are doing homework." She looked at over them with the blocks and laughed softly. "I miss you, how's the island?"

[Demona]

"Not what i remember" i sighed "but it will be fixed. We might need to stay here more than a couple weeks though, and i might ask Mason to fly over too. Maybe you could come too with Ruby and oliver?"

"Really? That bad. Hmm, yes I could ask your mother to come and watch the boys. I would like to see this place after all, you spent a year there."

"Mrs Taylor, our obsterition Dr Kabila will see you now." The nurse called out.

Ally frowned her voice full of worry "why is my daughter seeing a doctor for, is she ok?"

Lily stood up and started walking but noticed her dad still there. She was scared to go alone. Looking back at him she asked quietly "will you come in with me?"

[Demona]

"She's having a little pain. I'll call you when we're done. Love you" i hang up and walked in with Lily "we'll have to call her back she's worried.

"Yes I'd rather have her here but that's not an option." I sat down on the bed where the doctor motioned to and lifted my top to do an ultrasound. "I'm probably over reacting, I always worry and think the worst."

I doctor looked at her as she squeezed gel on Lily's tummy and brought the baby up on the screen "no need to worry, we will make sure everything is ok." She then looked at Steven "it's nice to see the dad to be coming along, a little worried are we?"

[Demona]

"Wha...no no i'm her father, not her husband" i laughed looking at lily's reaction. "Everything looks good?"

"That's gross, on so many levels." My cheeks flushed in embarrassment. "Is everything ok?"

the doctor pointed to the screen "as you can see, you're measuring around 18 to 18 weeks and he is growing well, but I'm concerned.." she paused "is there any known medical history of complications?" She looked at Steven "your wife, or any mutiple pregnancies?"

[Demona]

"Yes she had some complications," i explained what happened with Ally and raised an eyebrow "please tell me that's not happening to her too"

[melbender]

"What is happening? Dad what is going on?" I asked with worry.

The doctor smiled warmly "please don't worry dear until we run some more tests, unfortunately it looks like you have a medical condition that during pregnancy, if not caught quick enough it is life threatening for both you and your child. There is a high risk of stroke and stillbirth."

"What? But I never.. my last pregnancy I ever had this." I looked at dad with fear. "Mum had this? She had like 7 babies though."

"It is hereditary. You would have had it, no one picked it up. The only way to fix this would be to abort." She looked at Steven "your wife is very lucky to be alive today. The risk is higher with each pregnancy."

[Demona]

"My wife only had this during her last pregnancy and she didn't want to abort." I sighed looking at Lily "please make some tests before we tell her husband we need to be sure"

[melbender]

"I don't see how you can tell all of this from an ultrasound anyway." I asked confused

"Oh I'm just an intern. I was hired as the doctor a month ago."

I shot up my seat and half yelled "you're an intern! You don't even have a licence to work here, you're not even qualified!" I pulled my shirt down hastily and stood up "I'm leaving."

The dr called after her "we should run tests her sexually transmitted diseases, that causes cramping too I think?"

[Demona]

"Lily!" I grabbed her hand gently "let's run the tests and we'll email the results and the ultrasounds to your doctor back home. Please"

[melbender]

"But I don't want to know if something is wrong. Mason won't want to go through with the pregnancy and I can't do that. The doctor is crazy." She had to be, I looked at him shaking my head "what if it comes back positive."

[Demona]

"Than we will find a solution. Your mother didn't abort and she's healthy and so is your sister. But you have to go thought the tests please baby"

[melbender]

I reluctantly agreed and went back to have bloods drawn and then sent off. We went to the cafeteria and ordered lunch, sitting outside waiting. The waiter brought out our trays and all I could do was stare at dad as his bolognaise was revealed. "Would you like a napkin?" I giggled, refusing to look down at mine.

[Demona]

I chuckled "oh no i'm not eating this." I got up "come on let's take a walk and buy some ice cream"

"so we're staying here for a couple weeks?" I asked eagerly following him. "We should explore and maybe there's a house abandoned that can be done up. I used to do that on the island during holidays. drag Jason around through the jungle."

[Demona]

"We might stay here more than that. And as i told your mother i might call Mason and tell him to come" i shrugged and smiled "we can do that after we get the results, because if you have what your mother had, you'll need to lay down at all times"

"That explains why she rarely left the house." I wondered how Mason would react. "I just don't want to think about it, everything will work out and I don't have time to rest, we have a island to open in a months time."

[Demona]

I smiled and stopped to buy the icecreams "you'll do a great job i'm sure of it" i took out my phone and snapped a selfie of both of us and sent it to Ally "we'll have to tell her at some point"

"She will freak out, I don't want to worry her. I'll wait until I get the email and then go from there." I grinned at the photo he took "Oh I forgot to tell you, grandpa called me the other day asking about the resturant."

[Demona]

I stopped walking and faced her "don't trust him lily, he tried taking the island from Cami, it was his fault the island turned into a public beach for everyone, he allowed all airlines to land not just the island's plane" i sighed "did he give some advise? Showed aome interrst?"

[melbender]

"He said I should sell and he had a buyer interested if I was going to agree." I dipped my brows slightly "I won't sell it, ever." I looked around then back to him "he said he would visit me but I'm here so I'll miss his trip."

[Demona]

"Good. Your mom knows how to handle him. He can't get around the fact that we were more successful than him" i sighed "if we're going to have mason here we have to check the hotel we're booking in first, if it's good enough for Willow"
