"It's just..." i put her on the couch and got up i was breaking her heart and breaking mine too. But their well being and safety was more important. "There is no other woman i swear to you but i just need to get out. Please let me do this don't make it any harder please lily"

"If you walk out that door the don't you come back." I didn't believe he would do it. He was just tired and exhausted. I sat there with my eyes on his until I couldn't take it and ran to him, gripping his shirt and begging as I cried harder "Mason.. please don't go. I need you. I love you."

I hugged her tightly for a few minutes and kissed her gently lingering a bit on her lips "i love you too. But i need this i need to leave for a while, i love you keep that in mind" i kissed her again and hugged her briefly before walking oit of the door. I left before i could change my mind

3 days.. he said he would be back after then. I felt my legs tremble and I shook in fear that I would never see him again. He didn't take a bag so maybe he will be back later on. I kept thinking what I had said to push him over and make him want to go. I couldn't stop crying as I made my way upstairs after hearing Nate waking. While feeding, I quickly typed out a text - please come back. I can't do this without you. -

I had left my phone home and went to the agency where they were already gathering a team and and getting ready. I called my dad and told him i had to leave but he couldn't tell lily. And he swore he wouldn't. I stayed up all night and we took off in the early morning.

Mason hadn't been home for a week. I was starting to panic that he really wasn't coming back. I had dinner either my parents tomorrow and couldn't show up. I sent dad a text saying I wasn't feeling well and Mason was working so we weren't going to make it. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't sleep or eat, I was crying all the time. I just wanted him to come home.

Emily knocked on lily's door and waited until she opened it "oh god what happened to you darling " she took her in her arms "you'll be okay, i'll stay with you for a few days and help with the kids"

"No please I'm ok. I just need to see Jason. Is he here with you?" My voice panicking. "I need Jason."

[Demona]

"He's parking the car, he's here look"

"Lily" jason hugged her "you need to calm down Willow is watching you"

"Where is Mason. I need you to find him and tell him to come home." I wiped my eyes "were married. We need to be together as a family. He promised he wouldn't leave and so you tell him to come home.. is he staying with you?"

"Emily please take willow inside" jason waited until they were inside "lily mason isn't with me, i think he's not even in the country. You need to be strong and if he told you he's coming back than he is"

"He said 3 days. It's been longer." I shook my head. "Can you ask mum to come here please. I just need her.. I don't understand what kind of person just walks out of their family. Nate is still a baby." I cried again.

[Demona]

Jason hated seeing her like that he just dialed Ally's number and asked her to come as quickly as she could. "He left, but you're strong. He doesn't deserve you, i want you to be strong and either forget about him or just wait him to come back"

"He's not coming back is he?" Realisation hit and I felt sick. "I'll never be able to forget about him. I feel like part of me just died." I cried and as soon as I seen my mum I cried even more. She helped pack a few bags and the kids and I went to stay with my parents for as long as I needed, I couldn't be in the house that reminded me of how happy we were, or so I thought.

A few months later we were ambushed and captured. We were kept captive for 9 months before we were able to get out and call for an extraction team. It took them another month to get us.
"Tomorrow we go home" i said to an agent sitting next to me. "Do you think she signed the papers?" A couple months after i left they told me we weren't going back soon and i had sent lily the divorce papers. I wouldn't blame her if she signed them but i wish she didn't.

"I don't know man, i hope my wife didn't cheat on me"

I packed an overnight bag for the kids, who were having a sleepover with mum so I could have a night off and get some sleep. Man it's been crazy with these two and especially since Nate is teething and crawling around, following Willow everywhere. It was their birthday last month and I couldn't even Mason had been gone for so long. I had the divorce papers in my bag still, unsigned and I wouldn't ever agree to a divorce. Not until he looked me in the eye and told me he wanted this. "Hey mum and dad, were here!" I called out as Willow and Nate ran off to find them, hos dark curls fluffy from the nap he woke from.

"Hey baby girl! Look at you, you got your shape back. About tomorrow night, there's a banker coming to your restaurant and i'd like you to meet him please. And have you signed the divorce papers yet?"

"My shape? Really dad, is that all you notice?" I rollesnmy eyes going straight for the jar of cookies to give the kids and Ruby who was playing with them. I knew I'd lost weight, it was my only way to distract myself and I'd run every morning and night on the treadmill, I just didn't dress sexy or show off how much weight I had lost. "I want to sell the resturant. And why is there a banker going there? No I haven't signed the papers."

[Demona]

"You're not selling it, it's a huge success! And the banker is going there because i invited him. I want you to meet him, you'll like him. He's really nice and even your mom met him last week at the firm. It's been almost a year lily, please you're still young. He's a cunt for not breaking up with you or giving yku the divorce papers himself. He's probably on some exotic beach having his share of fun, i hate seeing you like that!"

"Is that what you really think? That he's doing that?" I didn't want to think about it. "You left, mum didn't move on. I don't want to be with anyone else. I have my kids who are my world, that's all I'm focused on right now." I sat looking at him, sighing "I'll go to dinner. Only to tell him I'm not interested and he shouldn't let you waste his time." I smirked.

I rolled my eyes at her "fine. I'll tell your mom you said no, maybe she can make you see the truth. Noah called, they are coming in two nights with the baby, she can't do it alone there."

[melbender]

"Well that's good. They were crazy not to move back sooner. Anyway, I have errands to run and I'll be back in an hour or two. Maybe I'll meet a handsome long haired man coveted in tattoos and piercings to bring back and introduce." I teased bending down to kiss each kid goodbye. I glanced over my shoulder "Mason sent the papers but he didn't sign them. That says something to me." And I left before he could respond.

Next morning the plane was touching base. It took us a few hours to gave our reports and leave. I took my car and drove into town for anothe few hours, i didn't know where to go, i didn't know if i could go home, maybe she sold it, maybe she had someone in her life. But i had nowhere to go and found myself parking in front of our house. The mailbox still said tailor, and her car was parked in its spot, but anothe car was parked right next to it. I took in a deep breath and used my keys to get in. I was in cargo pants and ringers, hadn't shaved in a couple months. "Anyone home?" I called out standing in the hall not wanting to intrude or see her with someone else.

I was stirring the sauce rolling my eyes hard as Luke sat there trying to convi e me why he should be able to buy the resturant. I'd decided to have him come here instead of going out in public and having people gossip about us. As I opened my mouth to speak I heard a voice and froze, the spoon falling to the ground with splatters of sauce going everywhere on the white cupboards "no." I whispered racing to the hallway "Mason?"
