I woke up, rushing around to get ready as I'd slept in and Emma was in a bit of a grumpy mood. I'd spent a little extra time doing my hair and leaving it out, then applying makeup. Dressing in a cute t shirt dress I'd made myself. Once I dropped her off at Nana's, and filled her in on my date.. I was able to go to work. "Let's eat and talk and I thought ummm maybe if it was okay I could go pick Emma up and take her to the park?" I hoped she would be okay with it. "You want to take her to the park?" wait he got a car seat? Oh wow. I wasn't sure what to feel. He wasn't going to like kidnap her or anything. "How about I have Nana bring her to the park, and then I could come meet you there once I finish work?" I suggested, trying not to sound untrustworthy, but this was my daughter and her safety was my main concern. "I'll see what Emma thinks, and we could go from there? I think it's sweet that you want to see her though." he must be serious about us.

I smiled knowing it was a long shot but at least she didn't say no out right so I was happy to meet them at the park. "I would love if you called and asked her." I leaned in and kissed her. We are and talked and laughed a lot. As it was getting closer for her to reopen I hated it but j couldn't wait to see Emma and play with her. "I'd better get going I'll be at the park so if they can't make it just send me a text okay? Or maybe I can just go pick them up?"

"I'll call Nana, I'm sure she'll be able to drop her off." I was nervous about him picking her up, noone had ever watched her before besides me or my Nana. Nana had.called and said she was going back home and that Emma was in safe hands, which relieved me. I finished up around 5, and brought some burgers, hoping theyd be hungry. I smiled and watched Emma run off to her mum. "Emma what did I say about running off in the park?" She looked back at me and then at mummy. I smiled up at him, Emma hugging at my legs, I bent down and kissed her "are you having fun?" she nodded like crazy and I smiled more, that was a huge relief. I stood once again, "where do you want to eat, on the bench or grass?" I asked, staring at those lips

I smiled. "Mexican burger is perfect and well if we had a blanket I would say grass but I don't so bench!" I picked up Emma who giggled as I tickled her belly. And we all walked over to eat. "So how was work?"

I smiled. "Like I said I make my own schedule and I don't sleep very well so I can get it all done while she is sleeping and spend all day playing with her it's no problem." I finished my burger and started on my fries. "What else would someone like for her birthday!" I made sure to mouth birthday so Emma wouldn't hear.
