Rosalee Futch is a grocery clerk living in rural West Virginia. But even a small-town girl can have big dreams, and Rosalee's is to someday--somehow--meet her big-screen idol Tad Hamilton. The somehow arrives in the form of a contest--the grand prize: a date with Tad Hamilton--and the someday is now. Rosalee wins, much to the chagrin of her best friend and co-worker Pete, who is deeply, hopelessly--and secretly--in love with Rosalee. The Win a Date contest was cooked up by Tad's agent, Richard Levy, and his manager, also named Richard Levy, to clean up Tad's bad-boy image. Someone should have told them to be careful what you wish for. When Tad meets Rosalee and gets a taste of what he's been missing in the real world, he decides he wants seconds and moves to West Virginia, turning Rosalee's dream come true into a nightmare for Richard Levy, Richard Levy and, most of all, Pete.

She smiled "i might visit , i won't be able to come whenever i want to"

"Exactly why you should have a very fun night tonight.." He said with an evil grin

Jeremy gave her a call, just to make sure she wasn't dead, or kidnapped, or both.

[Demona]

She arched an eyebrow and was about to speak when her phone went off. She looked at the screen "i'm sorry i have to take this" she walked out of the room and answered "yes Jeremy i'm still alive" she giggled.

"Well you don't have to be all sarcastic about it.. I'm just making sure you're not dead.. You having fun?" He asked

[Demona]

"Actually not so much. It's not what i expected but i'mstill happy"

"You're not having a good time?" He asked a little too happy "well.. Good thing you're coming home tomorrow!" He said

[Demona]

"Who said anything about coming tomorrow??" She giggled "i was thinking about looking around before getting back"

[GoddessofHope]

He sighed "just... Be safe alright?" He said concerned.

[Demona]

"I will and thank you for calling Jer!" They hung up and she went back to their table. "I'm sorry" she smiled

"Let me guess.. The guy who you friend zoned worried about you?" He asked with a laugh

[Demona]

She glared at him "i didn't friend zone him he's been my friend for as long as i can remember. Abd he never made a move so it's not me who friend zoned him" she said annoyed.

[GoddessofHope]

He chuckled "touchy!" He said throwing his hands up in defense "no wonder he's never made a move.. You'd prolly rip his heart out."

[Demona]

She rolled her eyes "seriously?" She sighed and took a sip of her wine "i don't want him to make a move, our friendship is special i don't want to change that"

[GoddessofHope]

He rolled his eyes "no guy is in it for the friendship, especially when you look like that!" He said motioning at her.

[Demona]

Her eyes widened as she blushed like crazy and took another sip of wine thinking of a smart way to answer him. "He's not like every man"

[GoddessofHope]

He smiled kindly "tell me a bit about him.." He said curiously

[Demona]

"He's fun, smart, a good friend who helps everyone. He's not selfish and he's very generous. He's always there when we need him. Again he's a great friend"

[GoddessofHope]

"Well.. Ya know I do have a friend who is looking for a good southern guy.. Maybe she'd be interested in your Jeremy " he said with a shrug

[Demona]

"Really...what kind of jobs?" She had a feeling that's not what he meant

[GoddessofHope]

He laughed "well.. Granted it would be a job dating her, that's not what I meant, darling.."

[Demona]

"Oh" she said looking away "well you'll have to ask him" she smiled and looked at him

[GoddessofHope]

"Maybe ill do just that" he suggested. Their food he ordered for them arrived and they ate quietly for a while. "Ya know.. Maybe we could just fly him out here and we could all go on a double date tomorrow evening.." He said with a smile

[Demona]

She looked at him surprised, the contest said the prize would be one date no more than that. "Sure if you want to" she smiled

Truth is, he was bored and could use some entertainment. "Good. Tomorrow then." He said.

[Demona]

She nodded "i'll tell him tonight when i get back and let you know. He might not agree to this" she pushed her plate away even if it was still full she was too nervous to eat.
