Rosalee Futch is a grocery clerk living in rural West Virginia. But even a small-town girl can have big dreams, and Rosalee's is to someday--somehow--meet her big-screen idol Tad Hamilton. The somehow arrives in the form of a contest--the grand prize: a date with Tad Hamilton--and the someday is now. Rosalee wins, much to the chagrin of her best friend and co-worker Pete, who is deeply, hopelessly--and secretly--in love with Rosalee. The Win a Date contest was cooked up by Tad's agent, Richard Levy, and his manager, also named Richard Levy, to clean up Tad's bad-boy image. Someone should have told them to be careful what you wish for. When Tad meets Rosalee and gets a taste of what he's been missing in the real world, he decides he wants seconds and moves to West Virginia, turning Rosalee's dream come true into a nightmare for Richard Levy, Richard Levy and, most of all, Pete.

He nodded slowly and stepped away from her "sure." He mumbled and went to his station to start working.

[Demona]

She went back to her happy dancing before going back to the cashier desk. She sat there day dreaming.

Next day she was ready at 9, two men came and took her to the airport

Tad had somewhat been dreading this. How annoying it's going to be to have dinner with a bubbly little girl. He understood that they were trying to clean up his image after all the drinking and gambling he's done but this was just stupid, he thought as he was getting tailored for his suit.

[Demona]

Rosalie was too excited to sleep during the flight, she kept fidgetting and looking at her watch. Tad's manager greeted her at the airport and drove her to her jotel. She was about to get ready when a girl came in with a dress "rosalie, i'm stacy. I'm here to help you get ready"

That night Tad arrived at her hotel, he walked passed the paparazzi and into the hotel, up to her room and knocked three times with a sigh.

Rosalie looked one last time at herself in the mirror, her midnight blue brout out her eyes and emphasized her curves. She took a deep breath before opening the door. She blinked a few times looking at him, he was dashing, even hotter than she imagined. She fought the urge not to squeal and do her happy dance. "Hello..." She extended her hand

He took in a sharp breath, surprised at how beautiful she was "uh.." He cleared his throat, he was, for the first time, at a loss for words "I'm Tad.." He managed to spit out as he shook her hand.

[Demona]

She giggled "I'm Rosalie, it's bery nice to meet you finally" she covered her mouth , what did she just say! She smiled and shrugged "shall we?"

He nodded "yes, of course.." He said and lead her into the elevator "so.." He began "how was your trip?"

[Demona]

"It was good thank you"she said looking at him intently. She couldn't believe she finAlly met him "i'm so happy i won the competition" she said smiling heartedly

He raised his brows "well.. So am I." He said walking her out of the elevator and to the limo "where are you from again?" He asked as the ducked into the limo, avoiding the cameras.

[Demona]

"From West Virginia" she said getting in and sitting properly. she noticed her dress had a long slit on her right thigh. she tried covering herself but it didn't work

His eyes shot from her leg to her eyes "have you ever been to LA before?" He asked with a small laugh

[Demona]

she shook her head "my first time" she said looking out of the window at the building they were passing

"Well I'm sure you'll love it." He said looking at her "how old are you?" He asked curiously

[Demona]

she smiled nodding "I'm 24" she looked at him "you're 28 right?"

[GoddessofHope]

He laughed "yes, I am..." He said looking at her

[Demona]

she smiled "Yeah.. i kind of read a lot about you" she said blushing "that's how i won the contest i guess"

[GoddessofHope]

He nodded "I can see that." He said with a small laugh "how does your boyfriend feel about this? Hope he's not too angry" he said

[Demona]

"I don't have a boyfriend, my best friend is mad since i won and she didn't, and my other best friend Jeremy is mad because he doesn't like you"

"Oh? He doesn't like me huh? I wonder why.." He said pretending to care

[Demona]

she shrugged "I don't care, all i care about is that i'm a fan and here i am" she grinned.

"Here you are." He said as smiled back. The car stopped and he guided her out of the limo and into the Resturant, they sat in the upper level near the window.

She didn't know what to talk about. She smiled and looked down the window "it's beautiful"

"It's bigger from where you live that's Forsure." He said and ordered them two glasses of wine and some calamari for an appetizer "is there anything you'd like to do before you leave the city?" He asked her
