Titanic (Demona and I)

Titanic, the ship of dreams. Is also known as unsinkable, and it was unsinkable on its departure on April 10th, 1912. And on its epic journey, a poor artist named Jack Dawson and a rich girl Rose DeWitt Bukater fall in love, until one night, their fairy tale love for one another turns into a struggle for survival on a ship about to founder to the bottom of the North Atlantic. Rose leaves her fiancé Caledon Hockley for this poor artist,  but it's not easy. What will happen next?

Rose just got on the titanic with her mother and fiance, she was looking forward to this trip even though her fiance's presence was a bit irritating. he objected on everything and she was supposed to do and act as he wanted her to while she wanted to be free and enjoy the world. on the other hand there was her mother, who watched her every move and wanted her to act as the perfect lady just so that her fiance would be pleased. Rose walked to the railing and looked down at the ocean ignoring her mother who was calling her.

Charlie laid on a bench smoking a cigarette, one of the last smokes he had. He stared up at the stars and daydreamed about what he was going to do in America when he heard a woman run by, and another woman calling after her. He slowly sat up, annoyed at the drama that was interrupting his daydreaming.

[Demona]

Rose finally gave up and returned to the side of her mother "I apologize mother" she said looking for Andrew. her eyes set on a young man...very handsome man. when she caught herself staring she immediately looked away before her mother could notice. but the image of his eyes kept flashing in her mind.

He blinked as he made eye contact with the beautiful blonde "wow.." He whispered, still staring at her, cigarette practically hanging out of his mouth.

[Demona]

stole another glance at him and was surprised to see him staring back. she giggled as his cigarette was about to fall but earned a glare from her mother.

"Stand straight and stop looking at strangers. Andrew is coming toward us. and please smile politely" ~mother

Charlie finally managed to pull his gaze away as her fiancé approached her 

"Rose! What are you doing out here?! It's freezing, get back inside." Andrew said firmly grabbing her by the arm.

[Demona]

Rose let him drag her inside but glanced at the man one last time before they were inside. "I can walk you know" she said softly and lowly so her mother doesn't hear her.

[GoddessofHope]

"Make yourself presentable, Rose, were having dinner with some very important people in ten minutes.." Andrew said softly, his annoyance hidden by a smile.

[Demona]

"ten minutes!" she sighed and looked at her gown "I'm presentable like this, i don't have to change" she smiled back.

[GoddessofHope]

Andrew Let it go and guided her into the big dinner room, sat her down, then ignored her for half of the evening, talking to very wealthy people about very boring things. 

Charlie stayed on the deck, now drawing a couple standing by the railing holding hands.

[Demona]

Rose sat there playing with her food. a gentleman came and asked her to dance. she looked at Andrew for permission but he was busy so she just refused and sighed. After a while she tugged on his sleeve "I'm going outside for a moment"

He nodded "be back soon darling" he said and kissed her on her cheek before getting back to his conversation.

[Demona]

She smiled and excused herself politely before walking out. She immediately went to the edge leaning on the railing

Charlie finished his drawing and saw the woman again from earlier. He slowly approached her "beautiful night.." He said standing next to her.

[Demona]

Rose looked at him and smiled "yes it is indeed" she saw his sketch pad in his hands "an artist?"

[GoddessofHope]

"Depends on what you consider an artist.." He said with a chuckle.

[Demona]

"Do you paint? Draw?" She was curious to see what was inside of his book

[GoddessofHope]

He handed his book to her "take a look for yourself.." He said with a small smile.

[Demona]

She flipped through his pages silently posing a few moments on each drawing "is it a hobby? Or job?" She looked at his last drawing seeing a couple she smiled
"You're very talented"

[GoddessofHope]

"It's uh.. Both I guess.." He chuckled "I just traveled around France.. Getting small jobs here and there.. Just making my way.. Enjoying life.." He shrugged

[Demona]

"France..." She was about to say something when she heard her mother. She looked down embarrassed "i'm sorry i have to go" she gave him his book "thank you for showing me"

"I'm Charlie.." He said holding out his hand to her

[Demona]

She looked at the door hoping her mother wouldn't come out "Rose" she shook his hand "nice meeting you"

"Pleasures all mine miss.." He said and headed down the deck
