Drake Jones appears to be a ruthless , cold and selfish vampire. His long life has been full of wealth , money, entertainment and loneliness. By chance, he meets a young human girl named Sabrina and his life turns upside down in a positive way. For the first time in his life, he has someone to really care for, someone to spend his money, attention and time on; someone to love, but that abruptly changes when he wakes up one morning and his beloved is gone. Bio: Her parents sold her to the government´s lab when she was nine . Since then she has been sort of a lab rat . She has developed skills and powers that humans don´t normally have. When she was 16, she found a way to sneak out from the labs . That´s when she met Drake . They fell in love and they got married when she was 17 . He didn´t know anything about her real identity. He´s been the only real family she´s ever got . She was found and caught by the lab , so she was taken away from him. Being a human weapon means she´s designed to fight every kind of race or threat that isn´t human.

**Starting**

I stared at the stars as I sat on the roof of the lab´s building. I felt numb. It had been a week since I had been taken away from Drake. Nothing had sense in life anymore. I wanted to cry, but I couldn´t do it. I had done it plenty enough , before. I didn´t even feel the pain in my chest . It should be there , but it wasn´t. The memories were the only thing left from Drake and me . I
I had been an idiot thinking I could go to the real world and start a normal life as any other human girl who were my age. It had been worth it , every moment I had been out of that place; I would never regret meeting Drake, he had given me things I had never dreamed of before , yet every second I spent with him all I did was put him into danger. If he found me , he would only get himself into danger and troubles , because that was what I was, a huge package of troubles.

I sat on my office as I just got off another pointless call. I can't believe she was gone. My love, my reason doe my happiness. I looked T the only picture I had of her. Retracing everything I knew of her. Ways coming up empty as if she made up everything.

In Drake´s eyes, I would be the bad of the story. What was I going to do if he saw me again? That was a question I should try to answer. I wasn´t going to risk him . I would pretend I was not the same person  he knew, but he would know I was lying; he knew me that well.

I caught word that she was in two towns over so in the morning I was to go there and search. I was hoping I would find her or someone that knew where I could. But deep down I thought it was another dead end.

I could sense someone standing behind me . His or her gaze was fixed on me . "Who are you thinking about ? I wonder what a teenage girl could have done during three years running away " Dimitri  thought aloud as he walked closer. I gritted my teeth . I had just been here for some days and I already couldn´t stand his presence . "What do you want ? To torture me again ?!" I snapped . He thought he owned me just because I was his experiment. I spun around to face him.

I couldn't sleep I couldn't eat and I couldn't think about anything but her. I went to the window and gazed out wondering if she was okay. Wondering why every lead I get turns out to be nothing. Did she lie to me. Does she love me. Did she leave on her own. Did someone take her. All of these questions resting in my head.

He gripped my chin hard. "Don´t you dare to talk to me like that ! Do you have any fucking idea how money and time we wasted trying to find you ?! Without taking into account all we could have achieved if you had been here ...And what were you doing ?" He snorted in a humorless way. "You were having who knows what pathetic adventure out there !"

I paced back and forth. Worried. I called another friend up. "Have you heard anything?" I barked. "What I've heard your not going to like sir Drake!" Brandon said. "What is it?" I was now pissed more. "We got words that she was found by a powerful man that none of us will go against so your pretty much on your own besides me of course." I stared outside. "Who is this man?"

I rolled my eyes , not caring if he did another thing to hurt me. "I´m not your property !" I said pissed . He pressed harder his hands against my chin . "Oh , hell yeah, you are ! Remember , I wasn´t the one who sold you to the labs ! I bought you . Since then , I have all rights on you . Everything you do to you or your body is my concern . For example , that disgusting black hair you got  when you were away! . You looked like a cheap ho with it like that ! Thankfully , I already took care of that "

When he told me the name Dimitri I had only heard of this guy. He is not kind. But what does he want with my wife, my love, my Sabrina! I was angry I wanted to kill him. I had enough to go against him but I was told he is more powerful towards our kind than I know of.

When he mentioned about my hair, I inmediately remembered about Drake . He loved my black hair as much as he loved the idea of me being a natural red head . He had been so fascinated when he found out my natural hair color was red and though he did not understand why I wanted to dye it , he had respected my decision.
"I´m warning you, now . If it comes to my ears that a guy is the reason why you were gone, I ´ll take drastic actions. You have no idea what I´m capable of !" Dimitri threatened me. I gave him an icy glare .

I didn't waste time I left that night instead of the morning. I met Brandon and a few others who I have known for years. We set off and talked about this Dimitri guy. A few said he bought people to train them. Others said he just bought young women for his own needs. And Brandon said he wasn't really sure. But he did hear something about this organization where people would be trained to kill the unnaturals like ourselves. With over years of being alive I have never heard of such thing.

I spat at Dimitri on his face . I was sick of him . He slapped my cheek . "Do something like that again and I´ll make them inject you more of your dose than needed" He grabbed my arm in a strong grip. "It´s so funny to think I could kill you just by twisting your throat " I whispered grinning, knowing that piece of information would scare him right away,

We got to the city fast now we needed a spot to hang low. I needed to feed and I needed it soon. So Brandon and I went out to find some food. We ran into a little trouble and found out we were close. One guy got away from us which could be bad.

"Dimitri ! Dimitri!" He said opening the door. "She brings trouble! A man no a vampire is looking for her!" He said.

Dimitri looked from me to the guy that entered the room . He eyed me with suspicion all over his expression. He had to be wondering who was the one looking for me. I tried to keep myself calm , not wanting him to notice how those news affected me . Drake had found me , which was not good at all. He had to leave or he would be putting himself into danger.
What was I going to do when he saw me ?That was a question I should try to answer. I wasn´t going to risk him . I would pretend I wasn´t the same person , but he would know I was lying , since he would be able to smell my blood. I would break his heart, by denying the life we had shared together when all I wanted to do was run into his arms and let him hold me.

"Dimitri, the vampire knows nothing! We could use this to capture and figure out how to destroy them even better! We can use her! The one he calls Sabrina! We just need to find him first!" Then said extremely happy with himself.


After our little run in I knew that more would come looking for is. We need to lay low for a while.

"Why do you assume he is trying to find me ?" I asked the guy . He needed to shut up. Why did he have to be such a loyal worker to Dimitri ? He was ruthless and selfish. How could someone even respect him ?

I grinned when we found out where Dimitri was located thanks to a fellow vampire that was out for his blood as well. He has gave is a tone of info on this guy and his location. I was thankful for this vampire names john.



"what name are going by?" The man smirked. "And there is no since in trying to lie. I'll just inject you with a truth cerium!" He smirked.

I paced up and down the hall at where we were located thinking of my wife as john told me about this guy Dimitri and what heist likely has a bed for her. I was beyond upset. I wanted to go get her now bi
It John said it wouldn't be good.

"Easy , doll ! There's no need to get that pissed. We are doing this for the sake of human kind . No one is going to hurt you or your bloodsucker friend if you cooperate" I could notice fear in Dimitri's expression , though he was trying to hide it. "I do not have bloodsucker friends " I rolled my eyes at him, stating that matter of factly.

So we discussed a plan. Some how I need to find her out in public knowing he will be watching or have her followed. They will come after me only they will capture another vampire. Then we will get into the lap because we will have a tracker on him. It has to work.

"Anyways, relax and come with me . We need to go to a meeting with the Government's science council . They want to see you. You need to wear something nice . There's a dress lying on your bed . I bought it fo you " I sighed . There was no point in saying I did not want to go. He would force me to go, manipulating me somehow.
