I take Lyra's bone and begin to play with her.

I smiled and watched as drako gently nudges me in the shoulder and i rest my hand on his cheek.

She played with it like a cat and a string.

i smiled and laughed lightly.

"I think she's part cat," I said as we continued to play.

"some dragons as babys are extremely playful but sometomes like drako was they are more interested in learning to hunt n wen they finally are able to talk to u thats een they try n make that bond but they will never go 2 far from your side bevause they no they are still weak at this stage of life

"Yeah, well she should embrace this time of her life, she'll only have it once. Childhood is short while adulthood is long," I said and glanced at him.

I nodded and smiled softly. "true drako is still a baby in his ancestors eyes even tho hes 2 years old and still bigger than a farm house

"Yeah, and to us it would still be time to play, but not them," I said.

"yea its time to work for them and thy already no 5 times what we do by then"

"Exactly. I think they lead harsher lives than we do," I said.

I nodded "yes they do especially since they are born predators and the biggest thing on the earth so they are ontop of the food chain."

"Exactly!" I said as Lyra got bored and jumps on me again and makes me giggle. I kiss her nose quietly.

I smiled softly as i shake my head "but they are also the smartest creatures on earth so some of it they bring upon themselves unfortunatly

"But they still deserve more down time, Lyra isn't going to spend every second she's awake just training. I still want to play with her," I said as she excitedly attempts to fly and gets a good jump. Enough that she landed on Drako's head. I clapped for her.

I lauged and smiled. "that usually takes about 3 months to fully learn how to fly wich is about when she is able to talk t you thru her mind to yurs but a good percent of her day will be training. Because i cannot teach you and her everything she needs to learn. From dawn till about 6 pm she will train as will you so that you both will be fit to be able to handle any situation whether it be on the battle field or in court but that is about when she starts her trainng at 3 months

I nodded. "Well, it's still a good thing that she's trying now. That means she feels ready to begin that part of her life, mentally at least." I said as I watched her begin to attack Drako playfully. "She's bent on taking him down isn't she?"

"yes she it but it will never happen untill she is as big as he is now but by then he will be as big as a large barn." I said smiling

"Actually, I beg to differ, ok there is a way for her to fight him. Right now she is way too small, but she doesn't have to necessarily be that size," I said.

I nodded and smiled

I smiled at him. "I could defeat you if I knew a bit more fighting and defense. But not as much as you, and if I use my brain I could possibly outsmart you."

"more than likely you could if you trained hard with lyra but there will be days in your training that you and her will be seperated during training so that you guys learn to wprk alone as well as one. So when you are apart you will be able to defend yourself without having to rely on her strength and fierceness."

"I know, you've said that before."

I lookd down and nodded "sorry just trying to prepare you for everything
