I nod again and sit at the table. "yea i guess i just wish this bullshit would stop."

"I do too, but it won't. Not even if everyone accepts me as the queen. Someone will try to kill me, or you for being a leader," I said.

"yea true and i swear if i find out who ever did this they will die at my hands"

I sit on my bed. "Something I learned from history, no matter what you do, someone will always find a reason to hate you. Even in our status. Many world leaders were killed because someone didn't share the same views," I said.

I nodded and soghed softly. "yea bc sometimes people see you as a tyrant and then they try and do somthing about it. For you its because they think you are not ready to be queen so they are trying to get rid of you so they can get a stronger mor experienced queen and king"

"Well, they need to grow up. I was not much of a leader but I was never a follower. I know what I need to do, and they should not blame me for what nature has done to me," I said. This being about my hearing. I realized it must be strange for him to be in mostly silence.

I bit my lip and nod slowly. "thats y i am trying to reawaken your sixth sense your ability to sense danger as well as your ability to control magic and the ability to sense whats going on around you thruout the castle with just a thought. So that you will not always need me to be here to protect you when im gone out to the field of battle"

"Well, as soon as Lyra is old enough, it won't all exactly be necessary. She will be around me as much as Drako is you, until she's too big to fit in the castle, but she still has time," I looked at her as she was playing with that bone again. I smiled at her even though she paid me no attention.

"yea but you cannot rely on her. Trust me on that. I trust drako woth my life but in a battle its just me and my enemy because there are times when we get seperated and i cannot get to him fast enough to help or he to me so we develope our skills seperatly but help eachother in ways someone without a dragon linked to them could only imagine been able to do. There are quite a few spells that could easily kill you if worded inproperly if you do not have her but she can only do sp much woth the magic she has within her as well as her teeth and claws you have the ability thanks to her to sense things around you so that you do not have to rely on her to tell you that someone is coming or that danger is around because she cannot and will not always be able to tell you or be able to sense danger. Thats y you as her rider need to know how to protect yourself whether the danger be magical or physical. You need to be able to be able to protect yourself at all times because relying on her all the time will be the death of you." I say seriously

"Yeah, I know that. Most of it anyway," I said before Lyra jumped on and pushed me to the bed. "I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to attack me little girl." I said into the bed.

Right there is a good example if you were wll trained or using your mind to sense things around you and not just for understanding me you could of prepared yourself for her jumping up on you. And thank you lyra for helping me prove a point." I say smiling softly

She nodded with a certain smile and I knew Drako was laughing at me. I gave them all a glare. "You know what all three of you are? Asses," I said but didn't mean it entirely.

I laughed and shook my head. "we just want wat is best for you. And for you to live as long as possible." I say as i rest my hand on yours

"and you also know that we wouldnt be doingthis if we didnt care. i know you no this but iv put my life on the line 2 times since you came back to keep you safe and not just bcause your fathers dien wish was for me to protect you. Its because i do love you my lady

"And I love you too," I replied. The unfortunate part for me was I could not return it for him. If I tried I would more than likely die from protecting him.

"honestly do not worry about me. Drako will always have my back and no matter what situation i get my self into he will always be there to help protect you hes vowed in the tongue of the ancients and the powerful words of our spells that no matter what happens to me he will protect you and lyra with his life if need be. And you already know that i will do the same if he happens to get hurt and die. But i pray that it never comes to pass." I say as i gently take lyra and rest her in my lap softly petting the side of her neck trying to avoid her spines along her spine and tale
