I get up and smile as i walk over to drako and lyra and scratch the small patch of skin inbetween his lower jaw

I smile as i hear lyra yawn loudly as she wakes up and i kneel down abd pick her up. She crawls up my arm and perches lightly on my shoulders purring loudly

I come back out in one of the new dresses.

I turn around just as ur coming out and my mouth drops and drako nudges my shoulder gently and i blush hard. "you look beautiful." I say blushing again

I giggled at him. "Thank you." I said as I came up to him.

I smiled and wrapped my as gently around your waist holding you gently against my chest

I smiled back as i lean down and kiss you lightly "you ready?

I smiled as i move away and gently take your hand in mine heading to my room i grab a few essentials fpr todays lessons and swing the back onto drakos saddle and get himsaddled up before we head down to the courtyard.

Lyra jumps to my shoulders and rides there quietly. "I'm not sure if this is really fair. She rides on me for 4 months and I rideher for years." I said.

"yea but trust me its so wprth riding a dragon and learning everythig more times than not iv had to fight next to drako on the ground. But it was always worth having him as my best friend and mind mate." I say with a smile

"its always worth having someone you can talk to and share your feelings with without even having to say a single word but it can at times get annoying." I say with a small smile as i take ur hand and walk slowly to the park where we trained earlier.

Drako nods to both f us and says to us thru his mind. "yes but we both no that our link to you is benifical in every way possible. tho it does have its downsides. Like everything we feel so do you and viseversa. Including all our pain emotional as well as physical. But we can also lend eachother strength at a moments notice whether it be for a spell or to push away the fatigue of battle. We may not be able to do any magic except our fire at will but we can help our rider succeed in performing nigh on imppssible tasks that any normal human or elf would not be able to do without either having 2 many to support the feat or die trying." He says as he looks at us thru one eye

"that my lady depends on the viewer." He says with a huge puff of smoke coming out of his nose. I nid slowly and sigh. "unfortunatly we have had one too many ppl try half the stuff us experienced dragin riders do and they either end up dead or so badly injured that the healers are surprised they arnt." i say as we go into the market and i pay for a pair of apples and hand u one.
