"hold on tight im gana try something" i say as i loosen my arm straps pulling my arms free and start mumbling a spell

I nodded and gripped him a bit tighter. I closed my eyes and hid my face in his back.

I finish the spell as i point it at the ground creating a vast fire and then wisper the spell to c thru drakos eyes and see them easily nd smile as i spread the fire to encircle them and trap them burning them alive

Drako flys hard with lyra in his mouth and the 2 gaurds hanging back enuf to offer us cover if needed and about 6 miles away we head home 2 quickly report what our findings were.

When we got home I left him alone for the report and Lyra followed me to the bathroom.

I reported in to the council leaving out that i took you with me and let them decide what to do but the 2 that came woth us left us to make a search party for the missing dragons and riders

I get to my room and I sit down.

I come up an hour later and softly knock on the door as drako lands in ur room

I get up and answer the door.

I smiled softly at you as i enter the room

I smiled back a little.

"how are you my lady?" I asked concerned as i walk in

"I'm alright, just a little scared for your men is all," I said.

I nodded and sighed softly. "i have a feeling their already dead bc of drow interigation. Btutal and smart backstabbing bastards and good enuf reason to fear them bc of thier well earned reputation. I no all 2 well" i say as i walk over to drako and gently pet his cheek as i move slowly down his body making sure there is no serious injuries.

I nod as I sit down. "But that isn't really what I'm troubled by. The entire time we were there, I was afraid. And thinking about your men being dead, or watching someone die is hard for me. Even if it's an enemy it hurts and I realized that even if I could hear I would be useless out there," I said.

I nodded and sighed softly. "i understand its usually hard for the first couple battles for new recruits. But they usually harden up after the 5th battle. I dnt mean to be cold hearted but thats the way things are here." I say spftly

"Well maybe I'm different, ok? I believe in self defense but I couldn't kill, seriously injure I could, and maybe leave someone nearly dead for their fate to be taken their own way." I said.

I nodded and walk to you resting a hand on yours. "everyone deals with it in their own way." I say with a sad smile

I nodded. "I just wish I could be more like what the kingdom wanted. But I can't do that," I said.

I nodded and sighed softly. "well whats done is done you might have grown dofferent if you had grown here but they will deal." I say with a small smile

I nodded. "I guess so, but then they would have some other expectations, just because they knew me." I said.
