I blushed harder but smile softly at you.

I leaned into him. "My father did the right thing when he set us up. I know that you'll always respect me, even if we have a few troubles. I can't really trust my own judgment. If it were left to me then I may not make the best decision." I said.

I smiled as i wrapped my arms around you "well im glad that we are together. And i think your dad did do right." I say and softly kiss you.

I kiss him back. "I'm very glad he likes you. And that I trust him even though I barely knew him."

"i am 2 but i also worked for that trust i never asked to move up in the ranks as fast as i did but i worked hard every day to make sure lives were saved on our side and the enemy was slain when needed." I say as i hold u gently.

"I understand." I said. Then Danyelle came back with our food.

I smiled as she places the tray on the table. And i notice her smile shyly "ty danyelle we will call when we are done unless there is enuf food for you as well." I say as i hand her a gold coin out of my coin purse.

(the coin purses back then were basically just a small sack with a draw string around the top so that you could tie it to your sword belt. Men back then often had them women were more rare unless they were going to a market to byuy supplies.

She blushed harder and shook her head. "im sorry my lord there is only enuf for you and the princess." She says shyly and bows before leaving the room.

"She is such a sweet girl, but she can't think about herself." I said as I began to eat.

I sigh softly. "what do you mean by that?" I ask curiously.

"Well, she's so busy worrying about everyone else that she doesn't stop to think about herself. It's unfortunate really because if she's sick, her first thought is how my family going to survive if I'm sick and what about my masters? I honestly would pay her more for sick days."

I nodded and sighed softly. "i was alot like her when i was a kid. I never cared about myself and always wanted to help no matter how far down someone whas from my station i was always there and helping out till my gaurd dragged me away kicking and screaming." I said with a small smile and shake my head. "thats when i got into training they had to get me a personal tutor bc i was always helping other kids master it and fell behind but since then its basically been drilled out of me by the war so i do what i can with my gold to help others." I say and sigh softly.

"Well it's a good thing, but you need to respect your own needs."

The only thing i need is you and drako and every once and awile some food and water." I say as i slowly eat

"she comes with you. Tho i do need her as well. Specially for drakos sake and yours." I say and smile. "cus trust me you will have a bond with her that you and i will never be able to have matter hlw long we live." I say and look over at drako. "just like me and drako have such a strong bond that very little can destroy it. But we will still have a strong bond you and i but it will not be like it is with you and lyra once shes able to tell yu what she thinks thru her mind to yours."

"Actually, I may not be able to have a bond with you like Drako but I will have a bond, and that bond will be different but it will be strong. And whether it's in the same form as ours or not, Lyra and Drako will too."

"exactly. But yours and lyras will be so much stronger than it will be for you and me."

"Okay," I said.

I nodded and soghed softly looking out the dragon port. "looks like a storm is brewing. have you eaten yet drako if not youd better get moving cus it looks like a storm is gana hit here wothin the hour." I say and drako gets up slowly as he says. "no i have to get somthing and come back woth it maybe get enuf for both me and lyra." And takes off into the night
