She is mysterious, and strange to most people. Dark clothes, dark make-up. She loves dark stuff. Then suddenly her mother dies, and her baby sister. Leaving her and her father. Her dad checks out on the murder, but she still is shifty. She was out doing a few illegal things that night, so she can't tell. The cops decide to assign a watch on her. He wasn't too old, fresh out of the academy and only 21. He gets a cover up as a teacher at her school, a history teacher. He's good at it too, and another shock, so is she. But he doesn't find out until he sits down with her. He's kinda of annoying to her, but also annoyingly cute. Maybe there's a romance dwelling beneath them.

"I'll give you a lift, I'm headed there anyway." I told her as I fixed my tie. "Anyone gives you shit then tell me!" I instructed her.

I shrugged. "I can take care of it without any trouble, don't worry about it," I said. Unless some guy was assaulting me.

"Get in the car, it wasn't a question." I warned.

I sighed, "Fine, don't be so pushy." I said and got in. I didn't hesitate to look out the window.

I chuckled, "So what classes do you have first? got a favourite teacher?"

[Mizho Sohma]

"My first is art, but it's not my favorite, although I do love that class. I like my history teacher, she was nice, until now. I don't like even my school because everyone believes I did it," I said.

"Oh I bet you will love your new history teacher, i heard he's quite the charmer." I winked and gave her a nudge as we pulled up at the school.

[Mizho Sohma]

"I doubt it, probably just another ass whole with his own judgment on me," I said. I got out before he said anything and went into the school.

She was so down on herself. I grabbed my bag and headed in to talk to the principle about the situation and what i was needing to do. I had to try and catch out the student who did this. I went to the classroom and ignored the stares from all the girls, "Good morning class, I'm your new history teacher, Mr Porter"

I went to my art class, having no interest in the people around me and their silence.

Ugh i was so over these kids. It was lunch time so I sat back at the desk and kicked my feet up while eating a burger.

I went to lunch and grabbed just an apple and a water. Then I left the cafeteria to sit at my locker eating the apple and reading a book.

I walked out of the classroom and looked down the hall. I had heard the bad talk about Alice but i didn't think she'd be on her own for lunch. "Hey, come eat in here!" I called out and nodded to the room when she looked up.

[Mizho Sohma]

I looked at him confused. I did as he asked though and walk into the room. I may be snobby sometimes but I wouldn't turn down social time with a person. I sat at a desk near his and realized this was my history class, and my next block. "Well, I guess it's good you called me in here, I have to be here next class."

"That's good, do you like this class? It seems like you need some tutoring in it" I said gazing over here reports.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Nope, I am perfectly fine, actually she gave us a report to do, you probably already found out. Here," I got up and hand it to him. "Mine was on what war I thought was the worst, which was the civil because we fought ourselves," I said.

I was surprised at her answer, "that's a good answer, what else do you like about it?"

[Mizho Sohma]

"I didn't like it, she asked us what was the worst war in our opinion. I chose this one because we were fighting separately. Our nation wasn't the odd unite that it is now. The north and south were fighting because some girl wrote the story Uncle Tom's Cabin and the north didn't like what was in it. I even read the book and made some references in my essay," I said and he seemed pretty surprised. "What? My grades are bad because the police is dragging me out all the time."

I smiled, "Well that wont be happening anymore. You can continuing being great in class and i won't stop you." i really liked the fact that she was so smart with all the knowledge.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Actually, I sit there like an idiot in class. I find it entertaining to watch the others with all these dumb guesses and stuff. I kinda like having that secret, until now only my family knew. And teachers too, but you're police so that puts you in another category," I said.

"You know you can tell me anything and if you ask me not to say anything I wont. Trust me." I assured her. My phone rang again and I groaned, "Piss off" I said under my breath.

[Mizho Sohma]

I sighed, "Sound like me when I'm mad at my dad. We aren't too close, he cared more about my sister and mother honestly because he got up with her in the mornings. Mom use to with me all the time," I said and looked at the wall. I guess it was a bit obvious this morning.

"Sorry, that must be tough for you. I'll get up with you now, i don't mind actually." I smiled.

"You have to be here anyway. But it doesn't matter I sent off applications for college by now and next year I hope to be out of here, nothing really holds me back now," I said.

Its a shame she felt that way. "Well hopefully you get into the one you wanted then"
