She is mysterious, and strange to most people. Dark clothes, dark make-up. She loves dark stuff. Then suddenly her mother dies, and her baby sister. Leaving her and her father. Her dad checks out on the murder, but she still is shifty. She was out doing a few illegal things that night, so she can't tell. The cops decide to assign a watch on her. He wasn't too old, fresh out of the academy and only 21. He gets a cover up as a teacher at her school, a history teacher. He's good at it too, and another shock, so is she. But he doesn't find out until he sits down with her. He's kinda of annoying to her, but also annoyingly cute. Maybe there's a romance dwelling beneath them.

"Of course baby," I said and once he disappeared I went to look at it. I stared at it long and hard. There was no mistaking it. It was mine. I walked out of the kitchen and leaned against the wall. "Alright," I called to him.

I came out and seen her against the wall. "So?" I asked.

[Mizho Sohma]

"That is mine. My father bought it for my 16th birthday. One of my movie knives. Did they mention any other prints to you?" I asked.

"There was one more that is unmatched, they're running it through a bigger database but they're doubtful that they'll come up with anything, you're the number one target." I said sadly.

[Mizho Sohma]

"I know that. I think I'll tell them as much as I can about the night. Tomorrow. Or I can just tell you the rest and you repeat it, but I really don't want to say it twice," I replied.

[melbender]

"You tell me and I will record it," I said to her, "I know you didn't kill anyone, I just don't want to see you go to prison for twenty plus years or worse," I couldn't be without her.

"I would feel better if it was just us, I don't know if I'd be able to talk to the investigator," I replied and I sat on the couch.

"Ok, I can get my captain to just allow you and I in the room, you know I can help with he drugs, I will get you immunity from that for you to testify, baby this will help you." I said sitting in front of her.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Isn't tell them I don't know what I took that night enough? I was only going to talk about that. I was going to leave the other times out. I have stopped the whole drug thing, but the drinking, I can't when it's available," I looked at him.

I looked at her, "I don't want you drinking anymore, you wait until you're legal age and drink all you like, but moderately." I was so worried about her. "Just say what you want to say, that will be enough."

[Mizho Sohma]

"Alright, then, I will tell you everything when you are ready," I said.

"Let's get some sleep and in the morning we will head down the station and get your alibi," I stood up, pulling her up into my arms.

[Mizho Sohma]

I hugged him. "Okay."

I picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. i laid her down and flicked the lights off, "Goodnight," i say holding her close to me.

[Mizho Sohma]

I leaned into him. "Goodnight." I said and closed my eyes.

I barely slept all night i just watched her. i was so worried about what was happening with her. i soon fell asleep.

I woke the next morning and he was still asleep. I slowly crept out of bed and took my bag to the bathroom where I changed. I snuck out of the room to get some breakfast from the kitchen.

I woke and threw on some clothes. i came out and smiled, "I could get used to this," i smiled.

[Mizho Sohma]

I smiled at him. "I thought I might scare you. Not being there when you woke, seeing your reaction to yesterday," I said.

[melbender]

"Well i heard you get up actually," i smiled.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Oh, well I thought I might end up scaring you. But I wouldn't want the reaction I imaged," I replied.

[melbender]

"No you don't, i have a gun in the house which i may have gone and brought out." i kissed her cheek and went to the fridge to get to get a drink.

[Mizho Sohma]

"As long as you don't shoot me, that shit hurts." I said as a memory of the pain hits me in my shoulder and I rub it reflexively.

"You've been shot?" I asked turning around.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Yeah, I told you once. My dad did it on accident. It happened 3 years ago, I'm fine though," I said and showed him the scar on my shoulder blade.
