i smiled at her "of course babe...do you need me to call a nurse or something?"i asked from the door looking at her with soft eyes

"No I just need water." I said with a slight smile.

i got out an got her a bottle and a cup i went back inside "here you go " i said giving her the cup

"Thanks." I took the cup and drunk the water non stop. The cool liquid sooth my burning throat. I took a deep breath and felt a little better. "Here." I said giving him back the empty cup. I laid down and curled up under my covers. "You look tired." I told him as I watched him move around the room.

"yeah you have no idea" i went to her bed and lay next to her " i have permission to stay with you till tomorrow" i got her closer to me,her touch calmed me a bit .i looked at her smiling i wasn't going to let anyone hurt her again

"Good cause I don't think I'd be able to sleep peacefully without you next to me." I smiled up at him and felt some of the tension fade away. When he was fully comfortable in the bed I laid my head on his chest and listened to the rapid beating of his heart. For some reason it made me feel calm.

i held her close to me setting her hand close to my heart i was looking at her feeling her relax and that's all i wanted right now.i wanted to ask her what she was about to do with her dad but i judge it not so good right now.i kissed her forehead "i love you ash"

I smiled brightly at him, I just love hearing those words from him. "I love you too Jay." I kissed his cheek and laid my head back on his chest. This is what it was suppose to be like, forever.

i waited till she fall asleep to get some sleep myself and was woken by the nurse next morning saying she was ready to go home.i got up and went to check on austin while the nurse would take care of her

Austin was wide awake in his bed watching Spongebob, while the nurses busied themselves with making sure he had everything he needed. They didn't find any serious damage done to him, but he did have a few bruises they wanted to take a closer look at. Turns out he'd be fine and will heal quickly.

"hey buddy" i said as i got in "ready to go home?" i thought i saw a scared look on his face and pained me "it will be alright" was all i could say because i knew it wouldn't till they tell on their father which they won't do.

"I don't want to go home." He said sadly. "Can I go to your house and play with Eliza?" Austin always feared going home. He tried running away a few times but was unsuccessful.

i smiled up at him he had just given me an idea "of course you can.i'll be right back just get ready"i went to see ash she was alone the nurse had gone to bring her her clothes "i have an idea why don't you and austin come to my house just till you get better?"

I was sitting up in the bed just finishing off a cup of water the nurse brought me before leaving. "I think I'd like that alot." My voice was slowing coming back and it hurt less for me to talk. "But what about clothes?" I questioned, but stopped him from speaking when the nurse came in with my clothes. I smiled and thanked her as she walked back out.

"i'll get you both some things from the store on our way home, i won't take you home to get some clothes and maybe get hurt again" i wasn't gonna let that happen

I nodded my head. "Okay, well can you step out so I can put my clothes on?" I asked a little nervous. I didn't want him to see how bad my bruises really were.

"sure i'll be out if you need me" i smiled kissed her cheek and went to fill in the forms and other things

I quickly changed my clothes all the while avoiding my reflection in the mirror across the room. I hated my body for the way it looked. I can't even go swimming without them showing. Once I was fully dressed I pulled my hair back into a pony tail and headed out the door. When I got to the front I saw Austin standing next to Jared and he seemed excited.

when i finished all the papers and payments i took austin's hand and was about to wait in the waiting area when i saw her coming out i smiled and we all walked to my car down the parking lot

Autin looked up at me with sad yet happy eyes. When we reached Jared's car I helped him in. "Hey buddy how are you?" I asked with a smile on my face. I seen his eyes sparkle as a bright smile spread on his face. "Good. Are you okay?" He asked as his eyes roamed over my face but the faded when he seen the bruise on my neck. "Hey look at me." His eyes met mine and I touched his face lightly. "I will be fine okay? Remember we're soliders and nothing can take us down. Not even dad." I whispered to him playfully. His soft laughter was music to my ears. "We will be okay, and we're goign to get out of this soon okay?" "Promise?" He held his pinky out to me and I linked it with my own. "Promise." I kissed the back of his hand snd he kissed the back of mine, then we did our secret handshake and clapped twice at the end. All fear was gone from his beautiful eyes and was replaced with happiness. I closed his door and walked around to the passanger side.

i just looked at them smiling and chuckled when he smiled like that " hey austin i talked to eliza and she's waiting you impatiently " i helped ash in the car and drove to a mega store not far from my house i got down of the car " wanna come with me or should i choose myself?"

"I'm comeing with you." "Me too!" Austin yelled excitedly from the back. I coulsn't help but laugh. I undid my seat belt as well as Austin and we all climbed out the car.

i smiled and took her hand as we walked in austin didn't even wait for us he run in the store and started jumping around " i just wish he could always be this happy"

I squeezed his hand a little tighter. "Me too. It always put a smile on my face when he's happy, and if I'm correct he's only happy when I'm happy. Or if he's with Eliza." I watched as he rushed over to the toy section and began playing with the toys that was already laying out.

i laughed "go choose whatever you want and don't worry about money because i'm sure you're thinking about that right now!" i gave her a look and went to see austin, "you can pick one toy for you and another one to eliza" i winked at him and went to find ash
