At 18 Colt thought he found the girl he would love forever till she cheated and he and her best friend got together. They started dating then the unexpected happened and she fell pregnant. Both her parents and his insisted they marry. Colt thinking he was to young to be a father and a husband specially when at first he only got with her to puss off his ex. But he truly cared for his son to be mother of his child. He just wasn’t ready so the day of graduation and only weeks after he married his pregnant girlfriend he took off. He never really looked back. He thought of them every day but couldn’t go back. Not till he was wealthy and truly knew he wanted them. He just hoped it wasn’t to late. Not knowing if he had a son or a daughter not knowing if she was still living in the small town or if she was involved with anyone. They were still married after all.

I looked at the note and shook my head. “This isn’t much babe!” It slipped before I could stop it even though I didn’t want to stop. “How about I get this and some more.” I leaned over and kissed Billy’s head and then stood kissing her cheek. “I’ll be back in a few!”

I sighed feeling bad. Leaving I went and got just what she had not wanting to puss her off. I did end up stopping and picking up lunch hoping that was okay. God she made me feel like shit for even suggesting more food. I pulled back up hopingbahe had aenpugh time with him. I knocked and waiting not wanting to walk in or anything God I was waking on egg shells here.

I walked to the door and opened it up, seeing him standing there with two bags. I leant ahaisnt the door frame and eyed him “I don’t like a lot of food because it goes to waste. It’s just Billy and I here, and if I get anymore food then it goes off. You have upset me, because I didn’t want him to know about you just yet and now he’s asking to stay at your house and you taking him to school. I look like the bad one because I have to say no, because I don’t trust you’re here for the right reasons.” I said quietly. “I’m unable to be excited because I am waiting for you to leave again.”

I sighed not moving yet. “I’ll explain that he can’t stay with me and that I can alone take him to school if you can’t.” I looked at her. “But I’m not going to leave and I’m going to show you this. I’m going to be here for you and him and I’m sorry i wasn’t thinking when I offered to get more food.” I stepped in stopped and turned to her. “As far as me telling him who I am he asked and he is a smart boy Peyton if I lied he would have known and I’m not going to lie to him or my wife.” I stepped closer to her. “And Peyton you are my wife, that hasn’t changed and this ring on my finger has not come off since that day!”

“I may be your wife in title, but we’re no longer husband and wife.. we stopped being that years ago.” I was backed up again the wall, staring up at him trying to control my breathing “you should have taken the chance last night to have me. You won’t get that again.”

I shook my head. “You sound so sure Peyton but your breathing and the way your body is reacting to mine tells a different story. But remember I can and will wait till your ready, if you don’t ever get ready as you proclaimed I have my visuals of you and my hand!” I leaned in and kissed her hard. “You are my wife in every way!”

“Enjoy using your hand then.” I pushed him away,’only to grab him by the chest and kiss him back harder. Tasting his tongue against mine as I kissed him frantically, eagerly. “Stop distracting me.” I muttered taking the bags and walking into the kitchen

I smirked watching her walk away. Yeah she could tell me all she wants that she doesn’t want me but damn that kiss just proved it to me more and more. “I do enjoy my hand babe, specially thinking about the way you would call my name as you came!” I had to adjust myself thinking about it.

I smirked. “Oh yeah, I’d like that image I have now might use that one tonight!” I winked and started to help her. “Where is billy?” I asked and then I heard him playing in his room so I smirked. “Never mind!” I moved the groceries to the side and lifted her up not giving her a chance to deny me I took her mouth. Needing more of that kiss cause fucking hell it was hot.

“This isn’t you keeping your hands off me.” I pointed out, my mouth against his kissing passionately. “Fuck!” I groaned feeling him pressed against me as I wrapped my thighs around his waist and drew him closely.

Smirking I knew she would break. I pulled away a little. “Trust me I can’t keep my hands off you but Peyton baby I still won’t go further till I have you fully. So um. I want to ask.” I looked at her mouth again and kissed her gently. “Will you go on a date with me? It can be just us or all three of us.”

“A date?” I just laughed “What does that entail?” I asked with a roll of my eyes “I’m not sure what you want me to say. I mean, it’s a little bit crazy right.. dating?” Shit! He was serious. I pulled back and smiled a little “oh umm, I could ask my parents to watch zbilly for a evening, sure.”

I nodded. “Good, and a date intells me picking you up taking you to a nice dinner, we y’all get to know each other well the new us and maybe a nice walk afterwards then a good night kiss.” I smirked. “Then I go home and wish I was still with you and end up texting you because I just can’t wait for another date.

“This is crazy.” I laughed rolling my eyes. “You better bring your A game, you can take me out as your new loaded self then.” I grinned.

I grinned. “Not crazy I actually plan on never stopping the dates, the wooing I plan to always treat you the way I should have years ago only better! I plan to prove to you that our love is real and strong that we are meant to be.” I kissed her softly. “I’m not going anywhere.”

“I want to believe you so much” I whispered, wishing I could. “I’m not sure what to think, part of me is scared to give in and let you back in again.” I admitted

I smiled. “I want you to take your time because I won’t have you until you are ready even if it takes you years to trust me again I’ll be here. I want to eventually give billy a sibling and I want to be able to be there through it all I want to have your trust before though.”

I almost passed out when he began talking about siblings “I’m sorry?” I looked at him with shock “a baby? You have to be messing with me right?” I wasn’t sure if that was what I would want again. “I don’t know if I’m ready for a baby, see this is why this is such a mess. If I fell pregnant I’d be panicking the whole time that you’d leave. I’m such a mess.”

I sighed and pulled her closer. “Peyton I’m talkabout the future not now like I said I need your trust before that. Before we can go further.” I hated that she thought she was a mess she wasn’t she was perfect I was the mess. “We will take this all one day at a time okay babe?”

“ok then, but I just want you to know that your money means nothing to me. It’s just a bonus, and yes it is a major relief to know you have the finances but you’re forgetting, you didn’t just leave me.. you took away that second income we relied on to survive. I had nothing, I had to borrow money from my parents and your mum and dad brought me everything for the baby. You left me to struggle with a baby, without any income.. I know you regret it and I don’t want to dwell on the past.. I just want you to know that is wasn’t easy for me, so when you offer to buy more food it makes me feel really shit because I can’t afford to buy that.”

I put my head down. “Shit I’m so sorry I didn’t even think of it like that I just wanted you both to have more I’m so sorry. I won’t ever do that again Peyton I’m sorry.” I was so stupid. “So how about tomorrow can I take you out?”
