I nodded. “I don’t get it, how can he not see what he has?” I didn’t mean to say it and it was just a whisper but I said it and I know she heard. I mean she is beautiful and so fucking nice. Just as I was going to apologize the bell rang shit I didn’t realize we have been talking this whole time. “I ugh I should get to my class thanks for talking and the sandwich.”

“You’re welcome.” I didn’t know if I had said something wrong. I felt stupid for unloading like that, pretty much telling him I just wanted to be touched and kissed. God he probably thinks I want him to do it. The thought had crossed my mind, but it was so wrong. I just couldn’t do that to his wife. “Enjoy class.” I said standing up and fixing my skirt down, bending slightly to pick up a taller book on the floor

I groaned watching her. Fuck I’m going to hell with my thoughts. “See you tomorrow jay- Mrs Easton.” I walked out and hated myself. I was a dick this isn’t fair to her or my wife. But it’s not fair to me either. Later that night I waited and waited for my wife to come home but she didn’t. I thought of jayde wondering if her night was as shitty as mine. Walking in and seeing my coffee I smiled and picked it up I walked to her room. “Seriously you keep spoiling me with coffee I’ll keep sharing my leftovers with you! I brought extra today in case you want some.”

“Well I figured you’ve never said to stop buying them so I assume you need the caffeine hit as much as I do, and my sister works at the coffee house she she only charges for one.” I winked, my smile growing “what did you make for dinner last night? I’m looking forward to pizza and beer Friday night.”

Laughing. “Me too and I made shrimp scampi my daughter loves this dish and she was so happy I made it for her last night.” I sighed. “Which I do need to caffeine more today than normal as I was up waiting for my wife to come home but she didn’t.” I shook my head. “I’m really looking forward to getting some sleep this weekend to.” No laughed as pathetic as that sounded I knew she would get it.

“Oh you’re not sleeping very well?” I asked. “Are you always up late, does she work during the night time?” I wondered what she done. “My husband is passed out as we speak, he lost his job a few years back and won’t look for a new one.”

I hated it. “She works in HR for some lawyers office so there isn’t a need for her not to be home a good hour but lately she has been staying out late.” I shrugged. “Not sure what is going on with her.” I took a sip of coffee. “Thanks for this, Ive grown to enjoy our talks.”

“Me too, I don’t really have anyone else to talk to. It’s hard, pretending all the damn time.” I laughed. “You’ll have to ask her to come home more, there’s a huge reason why she should be there. A husband who clearly needs her and her daughter.”

I nodded. “Yeah if onlybit was that simple.” I smiled and turned to go to my class. “Lunch my room today?” I asked looking back at her. God I hoped she said of course.

“Well it’s about time you invited me over.” I just smiled. “I look forward to trying your shrimp.” And then I grinned “that sounded terrible!”

I smiled and laughed a little. “Nothing shrimp about me jayde.” I winked and walked outnshaking ky head I can’t believe I just said that to her. I was done over the line and I wasn’t able to stop from going further right now.

So relieved he didn’t turn around, my cheeks were burning red and I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face. This was so bad but it was making me feel alive again. “You’re terrible” I called out still grinning, and suddenly I wondered what this weekend would bring

I laughed more. “Wow I was talking about my height Mrs Easton!” I turned to see her bright red cheeks and I laughed more. “Or was I?” I winked and smirked as I walked into my class with a smile that wasn’t going to leave my face all day. This teasing was one of the things I needed again. And it was so easy with her.

I pushed open his classroom door and smiled, “good afternoon, I heard there’s some food up for grabs.” I was actually looking forward to this all day. “How’s your morning been?”

I smiled “quite interesting to start with, u mean some teacher was really trying to insult me by calling my stuff a shrimp!” I winked. “Other than that really boring.” I pulled out the food and placed hers in front of her and then sat down with mine.

“You assumed that’s what I was talking about” I grinned shaking my head at him “You’re terrible. I’m not saying anything except this smells amazing. What else do you like to cook?”

I laughed. “Uh huh smart girl changing the subject. But to answer I cook anything pretty much my mom taught me everything. And just to let you know there is nothing shrimp about me.” I winked fuck I have said this way to many times. “Do you like to cook?”

“I enjoy cooking, my boys help a lot too, I e taught them cooking isn’t just for girls.” I took a bite and moaned “this is amazing, you get for me anytime you want” I bit my lip enjoying this

Smiling. “Okay what would you like tomorrow before are trip?” I was going to make whatever she wanted she deserved this and I loved watching her eat my cooked meals. She really enjoy them and I loved enjoying her sounds a little to much.

“I don’t know, Jesus no one ever cooks for me.” I blushed. Damn he had that affect on me. “Do you know how to make lasagna?” I asked, “I haven’t had that in such a long time.”

I smiled. “Only the best lasagna you’ll ever have!” I winked and smiled. “My daughter will be happy that’s her second favorite dish of mine.” We ate in comfortable silence and snuck smiles at each other once and a while. After we ate I brought up the trip I mean we only have tomorrow then the next morning we have to be here early to leave. “So lasagna tomorrow I’ll make extra so you can have it for you and the boys as well and then pizza and beer Friday!”

“Looking forward to it.” I smiled. I reached over to grab a napkin and our fingers touches, my heart does ip and I swore I felt a shock between us. “Don’t forget your swimmers, you’ve got a group of girls you can’t let down remember”

I laughed. “Well I think I’ll let them down because I won’t be taking my shirt off in front of them, but later when we have our own night swim maybe I will.” The way my body felt as her fingers touched mines made me weak really weak. This weekend was going to be really good and really bad at the same time.

His lasagna was indeed the best I have eaten in so long. I woke up ready for school trip early, not that I slept much. My head hurt and shoulder blade hurt from being shoved hard into the wall and punched. I took the kids to my sisters and drove to school where the bid was already. I put my bag in the bus and went through my class check list. Then, I felt him without needing to know he was there. My skin prickled as he spoke up the kids who called out to him. I was dressed more casually, summer shorts and a tighter tee for the warm weather.

I smiled seeing her she looked fucking good. I said hellos then checked my students there were two buses and I made sure to be on the same as jayde. I walked up and smiled. “Looking good Mrs Easton.” Although she looked tired and something seemed off almost like she was in pain. “You okay?”
