Oh, Baby! Baby!

She’s longed for a baby, afraid she would never get that chance, she took matters into her own hands and went through a donor clinic. She chose not to find out anything about the donor.

He donated on a whim years ago, strapped for cash before making something of himself. Now, he wonders if he ever had a child out there who looked like him, or if it was just balboas he shot. He’s never told this to anybody.

Four months pregnant, she wishes she could have someone to share this with, but knows it would be impossible. When people ask about the father, she lies and says he left her when he found out. And then she meets him, and he’s everything she ever wants in a man, but will he run after finding out she’s pregnant?

When he finds out she had a baby to a donor, he can’t help but wonder...

“You said to just call in, and I was in the neighbourhood.” I blushed a little. “Plus I wanted to see you again, are you still to for that dinner tonight?” I didn’t care if it was boxed pasta, I wanted to see him.

I smiled. “Yes! I’ll leave early so I can go get what I want to make for you!” I didn’t even realize she was still in my arms. “What time do you get off? I’ll send my car to get you whenever you are ready!” Fuck I was ready to leave now!

“I can drive, I should be done by 5 if there is no call outs.” I smiled, just as my radio went off and I had to rush back to the ambulance. “Well that’s me, I’ll see you later tonight.” I grinned, stealing a kiss and well aware that people were watching us.

The receptionist slapped his arm when she was gone “umm! Holy shit! Baby on the way! When did this happen?! We need to celebrate you becoming a soon the be daddy!” She winked at the daddy part

I sighed. “I just met her the baby isn’t mine but I feel drawn to them both. She is incredible.” I said and shook my head. “I got work to do cause I’m leaving early to cook that incredible woman dinner.”

“The baby isn’t yours?! Wow! Hope you’re getting a lawyer involved for when that baby comes out because news flash, you’ll be raising a child and becoming a father.” She shook her head with an eye roll. She hated that he had found someone that wasn’t her.

I smiled reading the text. -no problem I loved seeing you even for the short time, I’m about to get going so I can start on our dinner, super excited about that to by the way you can surprise me anytime, xx- I looked up and smiled “well I’m out of here and just to be clear I wouldn’t mind being the father to her child!”

The day couldn’t have gone any slower, I eagerly walked out to the car, driving to his place. I was just in a comfy tee dress and sandals. My hair out, barely any makeup and some gloss on my lips. I walked to the door and knocked “something smells amazing!”

I opened the door with no shirt or shoes I was a mess I spilt sauce all over me. Opening the door I smiled “Hey, sorry the doorbell scared me and I spilt sauce everywhere! Let me clean up and change you make yourself at home!” I noticed her staring at my chest and smirked.

“Yeah definitely.” I wasn’t even listening to him right now. My god I’d eat the sauce off his chest if I could. “Umm sorry, what?”

Laughing I pulled her inside. “You like what you see hazel?” Her blushing made me want to kiss her more. And I did I leaned down and kissed her. “You look breath taking!”

“I didn’t even try to dress up, I just threw on the first thing I found.” I grinned rubbing my hands up and down his forearms “you however, should definitely dress before I’m too distracted to eat.” Oh did I want him. I’ve never felt this way, never have I wanted to grab and jump someone so much

Laughing I kissed her again. “I’m not sure I want to dress now!” I winked and stepped away. “Make yourself at home hazel I’ll be right back!” I literally ran to get dressed just so I could be back with her. Once I came back I saw her sitting at the counter. “Steak, salad and baked potatoes okay for you?”

“Going straight for the heart I see. Sounds and smells incredible.” I noticed, watching him some more. “I have
Never had a man make me dinner so I am extremely excited for tonight.”

I stopped and turned.  “I’m sorry I shouldn’t be happy about that but me being your first makes me so happy! Also makes me want to do it a lot more specially if I get to see you blush!” I winked. She blushed and I wanted to see that more.

“Well it’s pathetic really isn’t it. But, then quite scary as the pressure is all on you.” I grinned following to the kitchen. His place was nothing less than what I expected for a billionaire, and yes I googled him to find that out. I smiled, running my hands over my stomach “Well I am definitely hungry, and it smells good so far.”

I smiled. “Well sit down take your shoes off and relax I’ll get our plates and we can enjoy some food.” She sat down and I brought our plates over. The sauce is good my grandma use to always make it with steak!”

The food smelt amazing, and the sauce blew my mind “alright if you’re not careful you’ll have to cook for me weekly.” I moaned half rolling my eyes. I felt a kick in the side of my stomach and laughed “someone else liked it too I think.” I placed my hand to where the baby was kicking and rubbed

I looked down and saw her rubbing her belly. “Yeah, I wouldn’t mind cooking for you if you want to make this a weekly thing.” I winked and reached over before realizing I didn’t ask I had my bad on her small belly where she was rubbing. I don’t know why I just wanted to feel.

I smiled, staring down at his hand and then looked at him where there was another string of strong kicks “told you baby likes it.” I laughed “who taught you how to cook?”

With my hand staying there I loved the feeling. “My mum mad grandma, they always told me when I was younger that even if the girl I married loved to cook it was nice to spoil her with meals here and there.” I looked up and smiled. “Do you know what your having yet or are you wanting to be surprised?”

“I could easily dine out and it would probably be easier if I did, but I’d like a surprise.” I smiled at him. “Makes it a bit exciting that way. I have to start looking at furniture soon, I literally have nothing at all.” I didn’t know if the baby talk was ok, I mean he seemed fine with it all but I wasn’t asking anything of him. “Your mum and grandma taught you well.”

I smiled. “I think if I was in your spot I would want the sex to be a surprise too, I mean I get the easiness factor of knowing but with something this special let them surprise you.” I took my hand away. “Sorry I didn’t mean to touch I just really wanted to feel what you were. He or she is strong.” I sighed really wanting to know. “Can I ask, did you have a good friend who donated for you or how did you take matter in your own hands?”

“Well, I did have a good friend offer but no, nothing glamorous or exciting. I walked into a clinic, and chose a random file that I liked and then two days later I was inseminated and it worked first go. Which is great, because this sample only had enough for one baby. So I’m lucky in that way, I won’t have a child with the same DNA as the father unless he’s had kids with someone else.” I didn’t know what he would think about that.

I looked at her and wanted to ask what clinic but decided not to. My heart was beating so fast. “Is there a way to get a hold of the father in case something happens?” I didn’t know I know that the clinic I got paid from didn’t contact you unless the mother died during child birth. “I’m sorry I’m just curious and amazed at you for doing this alone. Your a strong woman that’s for sure.”

“Well the father usually isnt but I have the choice of having the clinic inform him that his sample was used and resulted in a child, and I don’t see the point in informing him. He could have a family already, it could hurt him. But, he done it for a reason and so did I. I’m not after anything, just a baby which I luckily got.”
