Oh, Baby! Baby!

She’s longed for a baby, afraid she would never get that chance, she took matters into her own hands and went through a donor clinic. She chose not to find out anything about the donor.

He donated on a whim years ago, strapped for cash before making something of himself. Now, he wonders if he ever had a child out there who looked like him, or if it was just balboas he shot. He’s never told this to anybody.

Four months pregnant, she wishes she could have someone to share this with, but knows it would be impossible. When people ask about the father, she lies and says he left her when he found out. And then she meets him, and he’s everything she ever wants in a man, but will he run after finding out she’s pregnant?

When he finds out she had a baby to a donor, he can’t help but wonder...

“Want to go grab breakfast? I need to swing by my place and get some fresh clothes first though.” I said pulling my hair to one side and yawning “your bed is amazing. I could live there.”

I smiled. “You can stay anytime you want hell I’ll gove you the code and you come on over anytime!” I winked. “I haven’t slept that good in a long time.” I pulled some clothes on and then pulled her to me to kiss her. “I liked having you in my bed and arms all night.”

“I liked it too.” It felt nice, and like this was the start of something seriously wonderful between us. After another kiss, I wrapped my arms around him “Would you like to come over while I go get ready, or do we meet somewhere? I just need a shower and some fresh clothing.”

I smiled. “I’ll go with you and wait, I want to see where you live and what you like!” I need more infor on this baby maybe I can talk her into telling the donor, but what if the donor isn’t me and the bastard wants to be in her life. Fuck I need to think of something.

“Sounds good, although my house isn’t as big as this, two bedrooms and one bath, but it’s been practical for my hours of work and I own it.” I wasn’t ashamaed or embarrassed, I worked hard for it. I don’t need fancy or lavish. “Lets go then, Luca will no doubt jump all over you.”

I smiled “shit next time you stay you need to bring Luca!” I grabbed her hand and kissed her then walked us out. Once she was in her car I got in mine and followed. The neighborhood was small and the housing equally small. But I knew how proud she was and smiled. As I got out and walked up to her. “Queit that goods! And this house is you I can tell already.” As she opens the door Luca came barreling out and jumped on me.

I groaned, pulling her down “Luca no jumping.” There was no stopping her as she was waggling her tail and jumping again. I grabbed the mail, placing it ono the desk by the counter with my bag. “I won’t be long, make yourself at home.” I sang out, and went into the bathroom for a much needed shower and clean up.

I sat on the floor with Luca and played with her then she was content on laying her head on my leg and I looked around. No family photos no nothing really. I want photos of us up on her fire mantle. I heard the shower stop and groaned god she was amazing.

“Sorry,” I said coming back out again. I was changed in shorts and a tee. “I’m so hungry, did you mind if we took Luca? I haven’t walked her in a couple of days that’s all.”

I looked down and she looked at me and wagged her tail. “Not at all we have bounded in this short time, I may have to keep her on the nights you work, I don’t like her being here by herself!” I patted Lucas head and smiled. “I’m ready let’s get something to eat too.”

“Oh I bet she would love that.” I teased handing over the leash. I knew she would love that as she wiggles her tail. “What do you usually have for breakfast?” I asked taking his other hand as we started to walk

“When I have time I like to eat a big unhealthy breakfast but when I’m working my receptionist always gets me these little healthy breakfasts stuff, I hate it! So anything unhealthy is fine with me!” I winked. I couldn’t help it I loved a pile of pancakes with syrup running down the sides.

“Yum, sounds perfect and I know the perfect place that makes the most oversized breakfasts.” I grinned, squeezing his hand. “I’ve been craving pancakes and maple syrup all morning, well most mornings usually.” I pointed out as she brought mine out when we sat outside to eat

I smiled watching her eat as I ate as well. We talked and had a good breakfast. We took a walk and enjoyed the morning together. “So you and Luca want to stay the night tonight?” I asked hopefully wanting her to say yes.

I smiled, “sure. I do have work tomorrow morning but that won’t matter, I can leave from yours. Or you can stay at mine, I could cook you dinner.”

I smiled. “Anywhere as long as I’m with you and Luca!” I winked. “Either way one of us will need to pack some clothes!” I leaned over and kissed her. “But I don’t mind either way.”

“You can stay at mine, I make an amazing risotto.” I leant in closer “and I wouldn’t mind seeing you in my bed.”

I smirked.  “I like the way you think. Let’s go by my place so I can get a few things and then we can go let Luca run in the dog park before going to yours for a delicious dinner!”

“Only if you don’t have to be at work, I understand you’re job is extremely important.” I got up, putting my sunglasses on. “I can’t wait to get you in my bed and fall asleep with you.” It was nice to actually come home and have someone there. “Years of being alone, its nice to not be alone or to cook and not have to freeze leftovers.”

I smiled. “Well babe you got me now so you won’t ever be alone or have to do that again!” After getting clothes and other things we took Luca to run the dog park once she was tired we went back to hers. As she was cooking and I sat on the couch with Luca I had to think of ways to get her to talk about possibly telling the aperm donor.

“You seem deep in thought.” I smiled, joining him on the couch. “Dinner will be done shortly. With a bit of luck you’ll fall madly in love with me and my cooking.” I joked laughing. “I haven’t killed anyone yet which is a plus.”

I laughed and pulled her to me. “I think it’s to late on the falling part but yes I was just thinking about your not wanting to tell the donor his sperm worked. I get why but I also think they should know in some ways.” I held my breath because I wasn’t sure what she would take.from that.

“Well yes, but that’s the whole point. He jerked off into a cup and that was it, he walked away for his own reasons. What happens if I tell them to contact him, and then he decided he wants to be involved. That isn’t what I wanted, otherwise I’d have used someone I knew.” I was confused as to why it bothered him. “Would you like another man coming over and getting to know my child while we’re dating?”

I sighed “no I wouldn’t, but the thing is he can’t want that cause he had to have signed something saying he wouldn’t. How far along are you?” Why didn’t I think of asking this before. Maybe I can call and get them to tell em or at least try again.

“I’m almost five months.” I rubbed my neck, this wasn’t what I wanted to be discussing. “The clinic knows it was a success. The donor doesn’t need to know anything other than that. To tell him that a baby was made, it would just create stress for me.”
