I groaned “don’t play with me woman!” God I wanted her so bad but knew we couldn’t right now, right now we need to help our baby survive. We had to be careful and make sure we listened to the doctor.

“Alright,” I laughed as our dog jumped up on the bed and laid down getting ready for a sleep. “Go take a cold shower, I’m going to put another movie on”

I smirked. “Nah I’m to comfy to move plus if I get up dipshit down there will take my spot.” I smiled. “And this is my spot holding you.” Kissing her I knew as soon as she found something I’d be out. I was mentally tired.

“What about this one?” I asked scrolling through dozens of movies and settles on the season of suits. I glanced over and saw him asleep, and I picked my phone up taking a photo of him. “Sweet dreams big man.” I kissed him and snuggled down with him watching tv.

After sleeping I woke and char was out. I knew she needed to eat and so did I. So I got up and order in her favorites and then pizza for the kids. As I waited I also did some searches of vacation spots wanting to wish her away from everything like I did when I realized her Ed was a piece of shit.

“Oh god dad I’m in love!” Lily sighed dreamily sitting at the kitchen counter. Tom walked behind her scoffing “yeah and I’m sure dad would love for you to date a man who is in the mafia.” Lily giggled “he’s like the sexiest man ever... find me someone like him on tinder and I’ll be happy.”

I looked at her then Tom. “Umm I have no clue what is going on but lily you can’t date!” I said sternly. “Tom watch out for her for it.”

“She watched some movie on Netflix and it was practically porn.” He grinned “utter filth dad! She’s too young to watch that shit.”

“I’m 17, not a child!” She pointed out eye rolling.

I heard the kid’s talking and came out to let the dog outside. “Don’t worry, I’m just stretching my legs before they cramp up and then I’m going back to bed.”

I smiled then remembered what Tom said. “Umm Tom tell your mum what the movie was as you said it’s practically porn your mom would love to watch it!” I winked at her and saw Tom crench

"I did not!" he groaned "don't make me drop you to the floor old man" he joked, laughing as he gave his dad a nudge in the side. "anyway, pizza for dinner is great but we're sort of sick of take out.." he looked over at his mum with a pout "Id love roast lamb.."

"tomorrow night, i'll do a roast lamb for you." I laughed smiling. "and that movie is based on your dad, we spent our honeymoon-"

"eww stop! my ears!" lily and tom shrieked covering them as they walked away fake gagging.

I laughed. “Ah must be a good movie then cause if I remember correctly we had one hell of a honeymoon.” Laughing as the kids groaned more. “Hmmm can’t wait to relive our honeymoon baby.”

“We definitely did have a great honeymoon.” I smiled, and sighed “the doctor called, I have another appointment in two days to check on things.”

I got scared real quick. “Okay well till then let’s get you back to bed I will bring up dinner when it gets here, and maybe after I can run you a bath.” I kissed her worried for her and our baby.

“Stop stressing, you worrying only makes me worry.” I said pleadingly. “If I didn’t feel well I wouldn’t be out of bed, I just need to walk because I’m aching laying down.”

I sighed. “Okay I will try.” I didn’t want to worry her more. “How about you at least sit and wait for dinner then we can all eat together.”

“Perfect. I’d like that a lot. So I’m thinking about us taking a weekend down at the lake house?” I suggested, “it could be nice there to get away and relax.”

Smiling. “We can do that but don’t you want to get away away?” I was okay with the lake house specially with her being pregnant and our baby fighting for it’s life right now but I also wanted to be selfish and just take her where ever she wanted.

“Well I won’t say no to a villa on in Mykonos and lounging on a tropical beach somewhere then eating all the pasta and bread a girl could fit in.” I grinned “but I’m happy wherever.”

Laughing I pulled her close. “Maybe we can start at the cabin and end in paradise.” I kissed her forehead as the door rang. “I’ll get everything you relax, Tom and little get the drinks for your mum and everyone else too.”

We sat in the doctors office a week later, and I’d told him my bleeding had stopped and I wasn’t feeling much pain anymore. Our doctor read over my charts and looked towards tanner and then myself “you’re almost three months pregnant, and unfortunately with your age you’re at high risk for complications and I am concerned as you have miscarried one fetus already, that you will again it were not careful. Until you deliver, it’s best if you abstain from all sexual activity, an orgasm could trigger early labour and intercourse may cause internal bleeding, we need to avoid this.”

What the hell. Fuck I’m already blue so by the time our baby comes my balls and dick will have shivered up and left me. “I’m okay but our baby? How is our baby last time the heart beat was really faint.”

“The baby has a good strong heart rate, keep doing what you have been and this pregnancy will be well. I will do monthly scans and if you feel the slightest bit unwell call me.” He said standing up, and opening the door “it was good seeing you both again.”

I looked at Tanner in the car “so if I can’t come for six more months, then neither can you.”

I groaned. “It’s going to be the longest damn six months, but our baby is strong and doing well we will both have to deal with it.” I pulled her hand in mine “I love you char.”

“Are you sure you’re going to be ok? A week usually has you moody and hard to live with, six months will be like boot camp for the kids.” I lifted his hand and placed a kiss. “I love you too.”

I laughed. “I will have to try something else to release my stress, maybe running or something.” I smiled. “What to stop for lunch before heading to the lake house?” She didn’t know that I planned to take her there today I had all our bags packed and in the trunk.
