Both of them, I’d take these two ages over the older in a heart beat.”

“I know, and to think you’re experiencing it for the first time again. You missed four years of the kids lives when you were in that coma, the twins first four years and then lily was around Lenny’s she when you were but, then her and the boys were in school when you woke up.” I sighed. “I can’t wait for you to see the fun things they do.” I didn’t let it show, but he missed so much and doesn’t know what toddlers are like.

I smiled. “I did miss a lot, it’s kind of amazing that I’m still around isn’t it?” I thought back to everything that’s happened and it’s amazing that we are where we are right now. I sighed and kissed Lenny before blowing on his belly making him laugh but startling willow and making her cry a little.

“Oh poor darling.” I cooed at her. “It’s ok sweetheart” I smiled, lifting her up to rock. Lenny leant over and kissed her cheek “all better.” He beamed and jumped up bouncing on our bed and then jumping on his dad. “I get you daddy!”

I groaned and tickled him. “Your such a good big brother!” I praised him and looked over at char. “He May have just took care of us not having any kids.” I reached downs nd adjusted myself.

I snorted loudly, grinning “well you’ll save some money with that one.” I smiled, and laid down, my legs up with willow resting on them and looking around “I think I have no interest in going back to work just yet. Maybe when they start school, but I want to be able to soak up all this for the last time.”

I nodded. “That sounds like a good idea.” I watched as willow looked my way when I spoke. “Your such a beautiful little girl, you look like your sister and mummy which means I’m in big trouble when you get older.”

“You’re definitely in trouble” I laughed. “So, where are we going this weekend? Beach? Lake? I’ll pack us some food to take.” I glanced over, my heart pounding harder as I saw him smiling at her, I loved his smile. “I love you.” I smiled. “I love your smile.”

I looked at her and smiled more. “I thought we could hang out at the shack and go to the beach. And I love you too baby everything about you makes me smile.”

His words were muffled through the wall and I rolled my eyes hating I didn’t know his plan, and then I heard him saying how much he loved me and I smiled. “You have the best daddy ever.” I whispered as I slowly walked to the basinette and put her down asleep. “Sweet dreams my girl.” And I came back to our bed climbing in waiting for him.

I laid a now sleeping Lenny down and heard the car pulling up to Lily’s and Gunnar’s. I smiled loving her being back. I waked into our room. “Lily and Gunnar just arrived.”

“Do we go down to them?” I asked. “I’ve missed her so much but I feel like I don’t know my own daughter anymore. We’ve never kept secrets, and now she barely tells me anything.” I sighed. “Did you know the boys are moving out? I saw on their Facebook page about the moving in party they’re throwing.”

I shook my head. “She May feel the same maybe talking to her take her out to lunch you willow and her? And no I didn’t know anything about that.” I wondered why they didn’t tell me. “Seems like all our older kids like to keep things from us.”

“It seems that way. So it’s going to be us with Lenny and Willow, and Noah if he stays or maybe he wants to go with them.” I shrugged. “Our nest is going to be extremely empty and quiet.” It would feel strange. “And lunch is a good idea, maybe tomorrow.”

I nodded. “Yes it will be really strange.” I didn’t really want to think about it. “It doesn’t look like she is coming up maybe we should take he baby monitors and go see them?”

“Why don’t you get that baby book you read, Gunnar May need some help in that department like you did back then. I think you’re a pro at parenting now.” I winked, standing back up and pulling on a thick cardigan jacket. “Promise me this weekend nothing will interrupt us? I just really need to be with you.”
