Once upon a blizzard

One night during the start of a blizzard like storm a woman and her children (one boy and one girl) were traveling to get away from her ex. She had no choice she needed to get away. Her ex wa as abusive drunk who thought he owned her. She drove into a small town and was almost to where she wanted to be when out of no where she hit a deer. Sitting there in the cold not knowing what to do she looked at her phone seeing she only had a little battery left she called for help. The dispatcher said she was lucky that the fire station was close by. A little while later there was a knock on her door. She looked and was stunned by the handsome guy standing there asking if she was okay.

It was late and the snow was coming g down hard when we got a call about a woman and two children stuck on the side of the road. I was pissed that anyone let alone someone with children would be out in this mess. As we got to the scene I knocked on the window Dow and asked the lady if she was okay. She had a light bruise on her cheek possibly from the hit. Her car wasn’t on so those kids were probably cold we needed to get them to the station now.

I smiled back.  “I learned the best from my mama!”  I laughed and turned to wrap my arms around her.  “But I believe your more incredible!”  I kissed her and groaned.  “Is it bed time yet?”

I smirked.  “You can come stay anytime even the kids can come.”  I groaned loving her hands on me.  I wanted her all the time.

“I would love to but I don’t want to distract you, so tonight you’ll have fun and then go to work with a smile on your face.” I kissed him, and groaned pulling away. “I’ll put the kids to sleep, you take the whipped cream to bed.”

I smirked.  “Mmmm sounds good to me.”  Although I wasn’t quite sure what she had planned for the whipped cream but I wanted to eat it off her body.

I smiled and hugged them both then looked at Jane.  “I love you all and you guys can call or come by anytime!” I left with a huge smile on my face with the kids calling me daddy.  As I got to the station I couldn’t stop smiling the guys gave me hell but I ignored them.  It was going to be a long three days.

So the kids wanted to get Bo a surprise, and boy did we ever. We built a darn chicken coup and brought 4 chickens. The kids beyond excited to see his reaction when he came home. - I love you. - I sent him, missing him like crazy.

I smiled -love you too, how’s the kids?- the station was a bit boring nothing exciting going on, I wish I was home with the kids and Jane at least then I wouldn’t worry about them and I would be able to love I. Jane.

- they’re excited for you to come home. We have a surprise for you. - I laughed to myself sending him that message. There was a knock on the door, and I got up to see who it was. An elder man standing there, looking rough “hi, sorry to bother this late at night. is Bo around?” I shook my head “no he’s at work. Umm, can I ask who is looking for him?” He smiled “his uncle, I’m just back in town.” He smirked to himself. “Mind if I wait?” And he walked inside “hey kids, what are we playing?” I was confused and wrote another message - your uncle is here waiting for you. He just came in and is talking to the kids.”

I looked at the message and got up.  “I got to go home!”  Tony looked at me and saw my face. “Shit I’m coming with you. I typed back -don’t tell him I’m on my way and be careful that’s not my u clue I don’t have any!-  tony and a few others jumped in my truck as I sped my way home.

What the hell. Who was the man in my house. I walked over to the kids, and pulled them closer to me. “So are you Bos mothers brother?” I asked feeling scared for the first time in a long time. 

“Something like that.” He said walking closer. “You’re a pretty thing aren’t you.”

I was so worried what the hell was my father up to now!  I pulled into the drive and went to the back door with tony while the other two went to the front.  We all walked in at the same time.  I looked st how close he was to them and I went to stand between them.  “What the hell are you doing here?”  I hated this.  “Baby take the kids and go with the guys back to the station!”

“Son, long time no see.” He said with a smirk. “I see you’ve gotten yourself the nice little family. I’m only hoping I’ll be able to spend time with my grandchildren, oh wait-“ he paused smirking more “they’re not blood yours. Probably a good thing, you know what you’re capable of son. Don’t ever let your dick tell you anything else.”

I shook my head.  “Yeah I’m capable of loving others unlike you that’s why it’s good!  You need to leave and never come back I’ve already called the cops!” I growled and looked at Jane.  “Jane  baby go please!”  I didn’t know what he was going to do and I didn’t want her here to see.

“Not without you.” I said worrying more than anything about what he would do. One of his friends grabbed me and pulled me out. 

He smiled looking at his son “does she know you’re just like me? You may think you’re capable of love and so did I. I loved your mother very much but then when you and your brother came along, you two were bastards just caused trouble constantly. Wait until you’re tired, exhausted and listening to screaming kids, and then you’ll snap. You’re just like me Bo. You know it and I’m sure she even knows it.”

I shook my head.  “I’m nothing like you, I thought I was once but I’m not and you can keep telling yourself that I am but face it I’m not!”  I yelled.  I wouldn’t lay a finger on her or those kids.  I wouldn’t even lay one on him like he wants right now.  “I know what Love is Mum showed me and so has that woman and her kids!”

I looked up and sighed shaking my head I waited for the cops to show up and told them what happened.  After that I went to the station as soon as I got out of the car Jane ran to me.  I pulled her to me.  “Are you and the kids okay baby?”

“No!” I half yelled “of course were not ok. How did he know where we lived?” I wrapped my arms around him tightly, terrified of what had happened. “The kids don’t know anything. They just think it’s cool to ride in the truck.”
