Once upon a blizzard

One night during the start of a blizzard like storm a woman and her children (one boy and one girl) were traveling to get away from her ex. She had no choice she needed to get away. Her ex wa as abusive drunk who thought he owned her. She drove into a small town and was almost to where she wanted to be when out of no where she hit a deer. Sitting there in the cold not knowing what to do she looked at her phone seeing she only had a little battery left she called for help. The dispatcher said she was lucky that the fire station was close by. A little while later there was a knock on her door. She looked and was stunned by the handsome guy standing there asking if she was okay.

It was late and the snow was coming g down hard when we got a call about a woman and two children stuck on the side of the road. I was pissed that anyone let alone someone with children would be out in this mess. As we got to the scene I knocked on the window Dow and asked the lady if she was okay. She had a light bruise on her cheek possibly from the hit. Her car wasn’t on so those kids were probably cold we needed to get them to the station now.

I held her close. “Shhh baby it’s okay.” It wasn’t but I had to tell her that. After a while of holding her while she was crying I said. “Maybe we shouldn’t try anymore, it’s killing me to see you like this.” I hated saying it but if we got pregnant again and lost the next child she would be so hard on herself. “Let’s just focus on us and the kids we have now okay?”

He was giving up because he knew I couldn’t ever give him a children. “I thought we agreed to keep trying, you said you wanted to try.” I said as tears ran down my cheeks. “I can’t give you the one thing you want. It took months to fall pregnant and then less than a day for it to end.” I burst into tears.

I held her. “No baby I don’t want to stop but I don’t want to see you hurt. It’s not good for you and I love you so much it’s killing me.” I kissed her. “We can do whatever you want I just want you happy.”

“You’re right.” I hated to say it. “I can’t keep going through this loss each time, my body can’t take it.” I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head down “I would love to have a child with you, but it’s not able to happen.” And my dreams were all a lie.

I hated this. “I’m sorry baby, I know you do.” I kissed her and held her till she was sleeping in my arms. I didn’t know what to say to her it hurt yes but I was more worried about her.

I could barely look at him, I was so ashamed that I had lost his second child. I felt a failure. At the doctors, the confirmed I had lost the baby and put it down to my body not strong enough to carry anymore children and another pregnancy was highly unlikely, which made me feel worse. “Do you think we could take the kids camping one weekend you have free?” Anything to just get away and not think about this

I smiled. “Yeah baby we can do that. I’m off this weekend.” I said knowing she was upset and just needed to get away. “I’ll get everything set up and we can go Friday!”

“I’d like that.” I felt like crying but I couldn’t in front of his mum or the kids. “It’ll be nice to go away, swimming and just relaxing. The kids have been wanting  I learn how to fish for ages.” I took his hand and squeeEd it

“Oh good I will love teaching them!” I squeezed back and then brought her hand to my lips and kissed. We got the kids and told them our plans later that week we were out camping I had just set up the tent it was one big one with two separate rooms, one for the kids and one for us. I was excited and looked over at how happy the kids were. I looked at Jane and smiled “I love you!”

“I love you.” I wrapped my arms around him, and squeezed tightly. “It’s peaceful here, maybe we should do this again in summer.” I pulled away and sat down on a log staring at the fire. “I’m sure you love the outdoors as well.”

I sighed. “Jane talk to me please, are you okay?” Her comment didn’t sit will with me an dabe has been quite specially with me. I hated it I felt like I was loosing her.

“I don’t know, I am happy but I am just really sad. I feel like a failure, and you’re not saying anything but I see the devestation and hurt in your eyes. You never wanted kids and then you did, and I can’t give you that.” I said wiping my eyes so the kids wouldn’t see.

I sighed getting up to kneel in front of her. “Baby look at me, hinestly I am sad for the lost we have shared but every second I see you so sad looking it kills me more, yes I would love to have a child with you but if I have to choose then I’m going to choose you to be healthy over having a child okay we have two healthy kids and I love them I’m happy with them I’m happy with you, please don’t feel like a failure, your anything but! Your strong and a wonderful mother, you’ll be a wonderful wife to me some day too.”

“Maybe.” I half smiled and rested my head against his. “I love you Bo, I just need time to wrap my head around this and realise things will be ok. I know they will be, we have each other.” I didn’t expect him to propose anytime soon, I leant forwards and pressed my lips to his “will you teach me how to fish too?”

I smiled “of course and you take all the time you need.” I kissed her and got up. “I’ll go get the fishing stuff ready you get the kids okay.” I walked away to get the stuff from my truck. Once I was done we walked down to the lake and I helped them fish it was a great time I loved it. Reid caught on quick Luca had some trouble casting but got it. Jane did perfect as always.

“I caught one!” I jumped excitedly. “We’re hav my fish for dinner tonight.” I held my rod up for him to take the fish off for me. “I like that my mans all sexy and hands on.”

I smiled and laughed putting the fish in the bucket. “Dinner is going to be good tonight!” The kids caught little bluegails and wanted to eat them to but I explained we don’t normally eat that kid of fish so then they asked if they can keep them and put them in a fish tank and I had to explain to them people normally don’t but if they want and if it was okay with mum then we could get s fish tank and some fish. It was a fun time fishing with them.

It was really fun fishing and had been such a great distraction, we cooked the fish when back at camp and the kids made s’mores to eat. After trying to count stars they were definitely ready for bed as was I. “We’re just in the room next to you ok.” I kissed each of them and walked into our room as it started to rain. “I bet you’re tired after today, fishing and cooking.” I smiled laying under the blanket

I smiled. “It was a good day I enjoyed it all an dwould love to do it all over again tomorrow.” I loved the rain . I wanted to make love to her but was scared to. I didn’t want to hurt her.

I moved closer to him, wrapping my arm around his mid section as my leg went over his. I wished he would touch me, instead of being cautious. “Thankyou for this. I love that you’re so patient with the kids, willing to teach them different things to do.”

I smiled. “No need to thank me for something I love and enjoy.” I kissed her and pulled her closer. “I’m glad you had a good day and loved fishing!”

“I’m sure they’ll go to school and tell their friends about this weekend.” I looked up at him, barely able to make his face out in the dark. “I’m cold. Will you make love to me?” I asked almost afraid to hear his answer

I smiled loving she wanted me. I kissed her hard and rolled over on top of her. “Let me know if you want to stop okay!” I kissed her neck collarbone and breast making my way down her body stripping her clothes off.

I wasn’t sure what I expected but him buried deep inside me was all I needed right now. We kept quiet, in case the kids heard. “I love you.” I gasped, shaking from my orgasm as he gave a final thrust.

I groaned her name and kissed her. “I love you too.” I held her close to me loving the feeling of her in my arms and loving that we made love in a tent as it rained.
