Once upon a blizzard

One night during the start of a blizzard like storm a woman and her children (one boy and one girl) were traveling to get away from her ex. She had no choice she needed to get away. Her ex wa as abusive drunk who thought he owned her. She drove into a small town and was almost to where she wanted to be when out of no where she hit a deer. Sitting there in the cold not knowing what to do she looked at her phone seeing she only had a little battery left she called for help. The dispatcher said she was lucky that the fire station was close by. A little while later there was a knock on her door. She looked and was stunned by the handsome guy standing there asking if she was okay.

It was late and the snow was coming g down hard when we got a call about a woman and two children stuck on the side of the road. I was pissed that anyone let alone someone with children would be out in this mess. As we got to the scene I knocked on the window Dow and asked the lady if she was okay. She had a light bruise on her cheek possibly from the hit. Her car wasn’t on so those kids were probably cold we needed to get them to the station now.

“Propose to you?” I laughed. “Oh Jesus, I have some strong competition then. I better keep up with with my appearances.”

I smiled.  “Baby, believe me no woman has anything on you! Your beautiful.”  I kissed her.  “You about ready for bed the water is gettin gcikd.”

“Scared something will shrivel up?” I smirked laughing as I stood up. I grabbed a towel and handed him one. “But bed sounds good yes.” I agreed watching him “I might ask for you to pose for me like the photographer.”

I laughed.  “Only for you.”  I wrapped the towel around me I needed to put on some shorts in case luca came in the bedroom.  “What are we having for lunch with my mum tomorrow?  Do I need to go get something or help make it?”

“I’m not sure, do you think a bbq and salad? We have meat in the freezer and I can do some pasta thing.” I rolled over once putting my nighty on. “I’ll make a cheesecake or something too.”

I smiled.  “Sounds good to me.  You know how happy your going to make her tomorrow.”  I laughed thinking about it as I pulled her into my arms.  “She is going to hug you so tight just to make sure your actually real.”

I laughed “hmm maybe, don’t forget we have the doctors in the morning. I’m not looking forwards to that.” I moved closer to him and held him closely. “I love you.”

“I love you too.”  I smiled and kissed her.  I held her tight worried about the appointment tomorrow not sure what they will say or how it will go.  What will they even do?  So much going on in my mind.

“Relax” I whispered holding his hand as we waited in the doctors room. “My heart feels like it’s going to explode.”

I looked at her.  “You can’t tel me to calm down and then say that!”  I said and shook my head.  The nurse called her name and I was so scared.  I followed them in and probably looked like I was so out of place.

“Bo?” The doctor smiled. “Wow, pleasant surprise to see you in here.” She said and looked at the test results “alright, you are fine to start trying again but I am
Worried about you being able to carry full term, then e is still some internal damage from what you’ve told me and that might make it a complicated pregnancy.”

I looked st the doctor, “complicated?  What do you mean, can it hurt her? Is it possible?”  I asked concerned I didn’t want to have a child if it put her at risk.  “How complicated?”

“You may suffer more miscarriages than you both probably wish.” She said sadly. “I suggest if you both want a family then to start trying now before your eggs start to decrease giving you little chance later in life to become pregnant.”

I looked at the doctor then at Jane.  Oh shit.  I grabbed her hand and hated seeing the look on her face.  The doctor looked st me sadly.  “Thanks doctor.” I didn’t know what else to say or do.

We walked out in silence, paying the bill and stopping by the grocery store quickly. I didn’t know what to say. He wanted kids now, and I probably wouldn’t be able to give him any. I couldn’t look at him. “I’m sorry, you deserve to be with someone who can give you a family.”

I looked at her.  “Stop right there. I love you, you reid and Luca are all I need, we can try if you want but if you don’t want to go through the pain then it’s okay too.” I stepped up to her and kisse dher.  “But don’t push me away now!”

“It’s just I didn’t think I would feel so disappointed. I wanted more time with you, to do things together and it’s basically unfair to say I want to try right away and go through all that instead of waiting a few more years and finding out it’s too late.” I sighed. “You could find someone who’s fit to have children.”

I shook my head. “Nope I have who I want.”  I pulled her closer.  “How about we just do this if it happens it happens if not then I’m okay believe me.

“So were really doing this? Going to try have a baby?” I asked not believing he would be serious. “I don’t deserve you.”

I shook my head.  “Nah baby I don’t deserve you, and yeah if you want to leave it up to date then let’s i mean we kind of already did that so let’s see where it leads us.”  I kissed her.  “Regardless I love you.”

“I love you too, and can we not tell anyone that we’re trying to hopefully make a baby. They’d call us insane.” I knew tony would for sure

I smiled.  “Of course we will keep it between us. Now let’s get home and start making lunch Mum said she would be over with the kids around noon.”  I paused and smiled.  “So if you wanna try before they get home then I’m all in!”  I winked.

I laughed, knowing he would say that “oh yeah I’m sure.” I grinned. “Maybe we wait until the kids are asleep, I’m pretty nervous. I mean, we’re doing it for a purpose now not just because it feels amazing.”

“Still doing it for fun baby. Don’t think about anything else except us!”  I grabbe dher Hans.  “But we can wait it’s up to you.”

“Maybe, I don’t know, we could have a night to ourselves and go out for dinner or sometbing? I mean you’ve never been on any dates just us, and it would be more romantic.” If we weren’t going to be married like o had wanted then I’d at least like some romance thrown into it
