I’m getting married! But not to him. My best friend who I have loved since I was 5, yeah I know some don’t believe that but it’s true. I remember falling off my bike and my brother laughing at me, but our new neighbor came to my rescue. He was so cute back then. I knew we would be close friends from then on. Even my twin brother liked him. But now back to I’m getting married! Yes I went away for college not to were my brother and best friend went, but is where I found my future husband we I’ll be getting married to in 6 months!

I got the invite that tore my heart into pieces. She was getting married but she wasn’t marrying me like I always hoped she would. I remember the almost kiss. I was so nervous but I wanted to kiss her so bad but her brother freaking ruined that chance. Then she was gone off to a different state to start college on her own. Now she is back and getting married.

I raised a brow rolling my eyes “absolutely not. He doesn’t love me at all and I don’t believe it.” There’s no way he could. “I mean we’re friends, he knows I like girls. He knows I’m not into guys like that.” I cringed at all the times we’ve been naked around each other. “Oh fuck.”

I smiled. “Nope I told you too.” I planned down and got comfy. I sat there waiting knowing something was goin to happen while Jake was deciding I felt my phone vibrate I looked at it and my brothers name popped up. “Shit.” I declined it and looked up at Jake. “I think his boyfriend told him I was here.” I said then he called again I declined it and then jakes phone started. Then mine rang again I answered this time and it was a mistake it was Kevin. He was yelling but I was frozen.

I could hear yelling on the other side of the line and noticed how upset and still she had grown. I knew who it was without having to ask. I took the phone from her and listened to him yelling. “You’re violating your restraining order.” I said calmly “I’d advise you to think twice before you call again.” And I ended the call. “So what movie should we watch?” I saidntrying to keep the subject on what we were talking about before

“I um I don’t care, actually I may just go lay down.” I said knowing I wasn’t going to be good company. “Besides I think my brother-“. And the door slammed shut with both my brother and his boyfriend. “What the hell are you doing here and why haven’t you answered my calls! I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for months Kevin’s been calling and I didn’t know anything he said you just up and left him!” I started to cry knowing he wouldn’t believe me. He isn’t going to be happy. I looked over at Jake then my brother and put my head down. This whole day has been a world fuck!

“Just ease up on her alrught.” I got up between them “Kevin is a son of a bitch who needs fucking murdering painfully.” I gritted out. “She’ll tell you everything but when she’s ready so back up or fuck off.”

I looked at him and then at my sister. “Well someone better start taking because I told Kecia if I see her I’ll let him know.”

I started to shake. “You can’t, you can’t tell him, hell hurt you or mum or Jake!” I screamed at him. “Please He is evil and let his friends do bad things please!” I didn’t realize I was rocking holding my belly preotecting my baby. “He will hurt me and the baby.” I looked at Jake crying harder. “He can’t hurt our baby!”

Her brother was looking from them both and then shook his head. “Okay okay Wait what? Your pregnant!” Then he looked at Jake. “And it’s yours?”

“Yes.” He was either going to punch me or hug me. “Uh look, now isn’t a good time to do this. Just trust me, you need to stop talking to Kevin. He’s got a restraining order out on him, and he’s going to be charged with all kinds of messed up shit that he done to her. Just don’t push this.”

I looked up at them and then jumped up and ran to the bathroom without a word.

I watched my sister run and I felt bad. Looking at Jake. “You and my sister? When? I mean she left went back to him after that night of drink- oh shit!” I sat down and looked up at him. “Okay okay that doesn’t matter right this second I need you to tel me what we are going to be dealing with fuck she looked scared what did he do to her?”

I let him know what happened, and everything that’s been going on with things. “So I have no idea what we’re going to do but if that prick ever comes down here I’ll kill him.”

I looked at him. “Not if I kill him first!” Fuck my sister has been through hell. “We need to make sure he doesn’t get close to her at all. Maybe we should stay here too, just in case.” He looked at Jake and sighed. “You’ll be good to her right?” His eyes showing some hurt but he knew Jake wasn’t like him and he didn’t want to loose his best friend or his boyfriend.

“Of course I’ll look after her. I have the room if you want to stay but I don’t want to hear you two fucking alright,” I winked. “It’s been a long few days and I have no idea how to wrap my head around any of it but I’m doing my best to try and take it all in the best i can.”

I came out wiping my mouth and finding three pair of eyes on me. “Sorry little bean likes to make me throw up a lot.” I sighed sitting back down trying to act like everything was normal. “Jake was just picking a movie if you two want to cuddle up on the couch and watch it with us.”

“Yeah I was going to pick the new jumanji one.” I grinned sitting back down and taking her hand as she sat beside me. “Fair warning I’ll probably fall asleep after working today.” I was bloody tired.

I smiled. “I’m tired as well.” I laid my head down on his shoulder wanting to just sleep for a month or two. I yawned and looked over at my brother he was watching us. I felt bad but right now I couldn’t because Jake was the only that would keep me a little normal.

I noticed her brother watching us a couple times and tried to ignore it. “Alright, Let’s get you to bed.” I sat up and lifted her up, she had fallen asleep an hour ago and I could tell was exhausted. I laid her down on the bed, and I laid on top of the covers watching her until

I woke up and saw him laying there next to me. I wanted to kiss him and tell him thank you but he was sleeping so I didn’t say anything instead I got up and went to make breakfast I wanted to help feed the animals today I needed to start doing thinks I needed to call the doctor too but it was still too early for that.

I woke to an empty bed and groaned tiredly. But the smell of coffee and something cooking led me to the kitchen with a groan “Yes. Please tell me that’s what I think it is!”

I smiled and turned around.  “It is Grab some coffee and sit.”  I said turning back to the stove.  “The love birds are still sleeping.”  I said smiling living that my brother can be who he is in front of me.  I plated his food and slid it to him.  “Enjoy.”

“Your brother is happy.” I agreed. “Thanks for breakfast, but you’re up pretty early though.” I noted.

I nodded. “I slept good with no nightmares and I wanted to get up and help around here. Thinking maybe that might help me.” I said smiling and sitting next to him and stilling some of his food like I always use to. “I wanna help feed the animals.”

“That’s a big job. You can’t go running away when the pig comes.” I winked. “He’s a big boy who likes to play.” I grinned.
